I was in the process of buying a 2025 Toyota Camry from this Simi Valley Toyota dealership and they knew I was willing to drive from Seattle to a location in California to buy their car. This is how much I wanted their car. We were in conversation about my trade in and they asked for photos which I sent them and then I don't hear back for 2 days until they just told me that the car was sold. Their response was that their used cars are on a first come, first serve basis and I can understand that for local buyers but when someone from a 1,000 miles away is showing interest and you are in the middle of discussing a trade and purchase, you have to use a little managerial customer service to think about what would be the right thing to do. And yes, most dealerships might do the same thing but if you want to be considered as exceptional in customer service, then you have to represent exceptional values and that means looking at every single customer as a unique customer. As a former global international customer service manager, that's what I taught and what I made every attempt to do in representing the company that I worked for. Customer service does not just happen and it means going beyond a set of values posted on a wall in your office. Cheryl was great to work with but she cannot make these types of decisions.

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars worst car buy experience of my life we paid cash was told the car would ship in 72hrs it was 5 days after a month and had to call numerous times we finally got the title a month later when we received it it was not dated in two places and was lied to on numerous occasions about lost paperwork the title being in the mail the general manager doesn't know how to return phone calls must be really hard to dial a phine and Roy the fiance manager is a pathological liar and very arrogant I would never buy a car from them again amd I would not recommend them to anyone to buy a car from them unless you want headache after headache id especially if your out of state worst dealership I have ever worked with

Had my car listed online. Efren reached out with an offer (didn't give a number). Told them I would only take my asking price. They had the VIN and apparently after discussing it with his manager they agreed to give me my asking price under the stipulation that the car was in good condition. We scheduled a meeting, after 30-45 minutes they told me the car was in good condition, but instead of giving me my asking price they low balled. I refused showing the sales associate (not Efren) our previous correspondence and was then told they can't do that price because they "need to make money". I refused since now they wasted my time and backed out of our deal. I asked for the contact information of Efren, his manager (the one he talked to and agreed to give me my asking price), and their boss. None apparently had business cards and now the dealership is no longer responding to my emails. Do not go here to sell a car, they will low ball you and waste your time. I assume the same can be said about buying a car off them, they are only looking to make a profit and not benefit/improve their community like they say they will.

Highly recommend this dealership. Negotiated the price and closed the deal for a 2026 HRV EXL on internet with Steve Dababneh. He was both transparent and upfront. When we went to the dealership a couple of days later, the vehicle had already sold. He went ahead and honored the same discount (7% under msrp) for a 2027 HRV EXL. The vehicle had some add-ons that I hadn’t agreed to on previous vehicle, so they were included free of charge. I’ve purchased many vehicles and dealt with many dealerships in the past and have rarely found one the the amount of integrity as Norm Reeves West Covina.

Brian was very friendly and efficient. I needed a Lyft or Uber ride home after dropping my car off, but the charge quoted by that service exceed the amount allowed by the dealer management so I had to arrange another way to return home. Otherwise the visit was as pleasant as always.

This is follow up to my review from last week. I could not figure out how to change/update my previous one. As promised, here is my updated review. My husband drove back out to there (1 hour drive) to get paper plates which should have been done in this first place. He ended up working with Cris. She was fantastic! Even answers her direct landline when you call it. She took over for the sales guy and the finance guy and fixed the problem. We are yet to receive dmv plates but we know these things take time. Thank you Cris for helping out- truly appreciate it!

We purchased a used Toyota pickup for our son and were sold a warranty and service plan that originally were thought to be one plan that could be used at any dealership. When my wife took it to Merced Toyota for service they told her she would have to pay out of pocket because our plan wasn’t covered through that dealership. I called Lithia Nissan to discuss, but wasn’t finally actually able to get anywhere with it for a whole week of speaking to different people. We finally drove from Merced to Clovis on a Saturday to cancel these plans for a refund. However, we were told they could only prorate the refund (almost $1700 less than what we paid). We were very disappointed because upon purchase we were not given any paperwork that showed what was covered or where exactly we could take the vehicle for service. The only thing they said to us was that we would be able to use it in Merced or anywhere for that matter. The only advice that I could give is be very careful when purchasing a warranty, or service plan because there is a lot they don’t tell you that we found out through social media and the internet. Don’t become a victim of sales commission.

I purchased my first Ford. It is a very nice Ranger Raptor, however my experience with the dealership has been terrible. My new Raptor has a tear in the seat and paint chip on the door that i noticed on the showroom floor. The dealer said they would fix the issues, but are unwilling to allow my local dealership to deal with this. They expect for me to drive an hour each way 2 more times for the repairs. They do not care about the customers time or inconvenience. I had a Ford customer service rep on the line listening while the general sales manager Rodrigo was rude to me. He and told me to drive the new truck back to the dealership and they will break the contract and give me a check "since I dont like how the do things". This is my first and most likely last Ford vehicle purchase. The manager Rigo has still not sent payment for the seat repairs even after i took down a negative review that he asked me to take down. Horrible customer experience.

I had a negative experience at Ontario Volvo. - Brent A. Rancho

I had a negative experience at Ontario Volvo. They sold me the extended warranty called the Platinum Volvo warranty which is actually a 3rd party fidelity warranty. During a service they made a number of maintenance suggestions which would have totaled over 3000 dollars. One of the items was the timing belt which was covered under the contract on page two. The Volvo representative was adamant that it wasn’t not covered under the contract. I asked them to call Fidelity at which time the Fidelity rep said that it was in fact covered. I brought my car in on a Wednesday afternoon and the next next Monday, 12 days later, they called me to let me know that Fidelity wasn’t going to the repair timing belt because it wasn’t broken. They had my car for 12 days. That’s not good service. From Volvo to Fidelity they fought me through the entire process. Even after the Fidelity rep said it was covered the Volvo rep was upset that he was wrong and said, “anything to save money.” I paid over two-thousand dollars for that warranty. I didn’t buy it just to waste money. I paid for a warranty service and they did not fulfill their end of the agreement which was precisely specified in the contract. If the timing belt breaks it can destroy the entire engine. Stay away from Fidelity car warranties. The company is unethical as is Ontario Volvo. They are both fraudulent. Do not buy the Volvo platinum warranty and do not use the Ontario Volvo service. They had my car for 12 days and did not fix the issue and were implicit in selling this fraudulent warrant with the Volvo.
