I went in to purchase my first car and was warmly welcomed by the staff. They helped walk me through the entire process at a nice easy pace and listened to my concerns, needs, and wants. They were not pushy and did not force me into anything I didn't want. They were willing to negotiate to help get to the price point I was hoping for. They listened to my reasoning why my current car was worth more than they priced it at originally, and we worked out a deal.
Although it took time, Mark (my salesman) worked hard and making sure that the process was continually moving so that I didn't feel as if we were at a standstill at any time. He also double checked my car for me and found a couple items I had forgotten! He also walked me through each individual item of my car to tell me its functionality so that I left the lot feeling well equipped and ready to go!

I really wanted a new vehicle, but didn't know if my less than perfect credit would qualify me or not. John had me qualified in minutes! I have never been somewhere before where I bought a vehicle and it was this smooth or laid back like it was at Steamboat Motors. From my understanding, they are under new management now, and wow, they are great!! There was zero pressure, they were flexible, quick, and very accommodating. All I had to supply was a one page application, my insurance card and drivers license, and in 5 minutes they already had me approved! Also, I am a Veteran, (so were many of them that worked there), and they had Veteran incentives I have never seen at any other dealerships before. They even offered to drive my other vehicle home which was 45 minutes away! Everyone there was so much fun, and easy to work with, I felt like I've known all of them forever after only spending an hour with them. If I didn't already have a job I love in a different field, I could see myself working here having co-workers like Patty, John, Marcus, Tim and Ralph. It was clear that their management appreciates their staff and their customers because he puts on a free BBQ every single Saturday for everyone. THANK YOU Patty for selling me my new Jeep Compass, and Marcus for shuttleing me around and getting my other vehicle home, John for getting me approved so fast and easy when I thought I wouldn't, Ralph, it shows that your management style and appreciation for your staff and customers is number one, you are laid back and funny and I really felt welcome, and Tim for being so personable, accommodating and inviting on the phone when I called about an oil change that morning - instead of saying "We are full today" he said "We will get you in, and we have free food today too we are BBQ'ing." We bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee here. We came in late in the day, approximately 4:30. Matt Leo was so incredibly helpful! He met us at the door with a handshake, listened to what we were looking for, and took us out to show us what they had. We narrowed it down to between a new and used vehicle. Matt gave no pressure to buy the newer vehicle, just answered our questions and told us pros and cons of each. He stayed far later than their closing time to make sure that we were satisfied with our experience and the sale. Once the sale was complete, he didn't give us the bum rush out the door so he could go home. He made sure that we were familiar with every aspect of how to operate our new car with all of its features and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this dealership and, in particular, Matt Leo to anyone looking for a great car buying experience!

Poor customer service - Customer 2018
We own several Jeeps/Dodge/Chyrsler vehicles we bought new and have had no problems at other dealerships. The customer service in the service department at the Grand Junction Chrysler Jeep Dodge Dealership was very unprofessional and dishonest. We bought a new Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited Edition from them and within a few months had a malfunction in the rear latch resulting in a broken rear window. The main Chrysler corporation assigned a case number to our vehicle because it was covered under warranty . Our new vehicle was in this dealership for over a month with no updates or correspondence from the service manager assigned to our case (Mark). We paid the individual who placed our rear window that is contracted through the dealership out of respect. When we picked up our vehicle the service manager (Mark) closed our case without reimbursing us for our window. I had to go back to the Chrysler Corp and get a new case assigned to us to get reimbursed for the window. The chiseler corporation indicated the previous should not have been closed by the dealership until everything was complete. Again, terrible customer service, I would not recommend this service department to anyone.

Had an 8 a.m. appointment to have my jeep serviced. Arrived at 7:45 a.m. and was told the mechanic would examine my vehicle within 45 minutes and I would be notified as to cost and any additional recommended service. At 9:30, I became tired of waiting and inquired as to the status of my vehicle on the work I requested. Was told the mechanic had not yet started on my vehicle. What is the purpose of an appointment? Took my vehicle and departed.

The rear wiper arm on my Jeep was knocked off and broken at a local car wash. I had the replacement parts but needed a tool to remove the old part of the arm still attached. Chris in service was able to get the tool and replace the wiper arm in just a few minutes, free of charge.

First let me say that I have never been treated better at a car dealership than I was at AutoNation Southwest. First the Sales Staff, Chris Revere and Riza Fadil, then by the sales manager Noah Montanye and then followed up by the Service Manager Steve Smith. I bought a used 2006 Dodge Charger at a reasonable price on a Wednesday, completed paper work on Thursday and the car was for all purposes then, mine. AutoNation offers a five day or 250 miles no questions asked money back return guarantee on their used cars. I took the car home and decided to get my own inspection of the car which turned up two problems with the car. I took it back on Friday and met with Chris and Noah to discuss my options. Turn the car back of have it repaired. It was my choice. I really liked the car and Noah asked me if the repairs were made would I keep the car and I said yes. Noah wrote out an IOU for the repairs and an extension on their return policy. I took the car in on Monday Morning and met with Steve over the repairs need. No where along the line was their any hesitation or disagreement on providing me the car I wanted and in a timely fashion. Can’t say enough about these guys and the policies at AutoNation Southwest. I think you will find the same in your car future. I want to point out that no one ask me to write a review and doing so was on my own accord.

This is without a doubt the worst dealership I have ever been to, I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I purchased a used car the they classified as a “CPO” through Xavier Deshay (worst sales person ever, no help) from this location at the end of March, it is now June and the car has had nothing but problems. To start out the screen over the sunroof was broken at time of purchase but was not disclosed to me I am just lucky I noticed it right away, while filling out the paperwork I was informed they were going to wash and service the vehicle before a left. First off it was the worst car wash I have ever seen coming out with gunk still in the crevices of dash and console and little did I know the front passenger floor mat was gone but I didn’t notice till the next day I informed my sales person right away I have informed him 3 times and he has been no help I still do not have a mat for that side, about 2 days go by after the purchase and I get a notification that I have 5% oil left in the vehicle. Now it is June 6th less than three months from my purchase date and I have been told by a service advisor from another location that I am going to need to replace the tires very soon which is ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. This location certified a car that should never have qualified for the classification, had I known this vehicle was going to be an absolutely box of junk I would have never purchased the vehicle. NEVER buy a used car at this location, if you do, find a way to have the vehicle fully inspected by a third party DO NOT trust their inspection I have a feeling they do not care much about used car sales and it shows with my purchase.
The only reason I haven’t given this location 1 star is to give credit to Steve Johnson in the service department who has gone above and beyond to try and get things fixed.

I took them my vehicle and asked them to check my brakes with my last oil change. I found out three months later from them after I couldn't brake that I had transmission fluid in my brake fluid. I asked them why they didn't check it and they said it wasn't their fault because they don't check the brake fluid when they check the brakes. I dropped my car offf on Friday last week and we agreed on them flushing the system and I would pay full price for them to do it. They still have my car a week later and no call, no update. I called to complain this morning and they "just flushed by brake line now" wow! I called another autonation along with three other service stations and they said it should only take 30 minutes to 2 hours to flush, a day at the most. I bought both my vehicles from this location when it was Centennial Cryslet Jeep. NEVER will I buy or service my vehicle here again. If you have trouble with your brakes their service manager Jason Webber will tell you they don't check brake fluid even when it's red and not the correct color yellow! Red flag!
