Price changed ----but they made it right! - flex
Price of car misrepresented from what was shown on the lot versus what it was sold to us for. We thought price included all fees, but reality was that it was $1200 higher then listed price. We should of caught the error then, but because of misleading financing sales that only shows monthly payments and adds on high price insurances we missed it. The frustrating part is after I called them the next morning, they have refused to do anything to correct the error. leaving me to believe it was intentional.
As a follow up to the above comments, the issue was finally resolved. We were fortunate that we had a copy of an online ad that had the posted price on it. I highly appreciate that the General Manager, Mike, spent a lot of time researching the issue and discovering that the vehicle was actually priced lower than what we were charged. They are making it right and issuing us a full refund for the difference. We are a very satisfied now, because upto the pricing issue, they were the most enjoyable dealership I have ever worked with.

While traveling from Texas in our Ford 250 diesel truck, pulling a travel trailer, our check engine light came on. We pulled into Molstead Ford and they could not have been nicer! Not only did they get the truck back to running order, but they dropped us at a restaurant for lunch, picked us up and took us back to our camper, and later picked us up at the campground to pick up the truck. Super nice people! Above and beyond!

I have had a full range of buying experiences. I have to list this one as top notch. Initiated conversations with the sales staff through texting. A week later I stopped in and visited with a member of the sales staff (Jamie). She listened to what I said I was looking for. I was looking for a used truck. Not only did she locate a used truck with all I was asking of it, she also found one the exact color I had on my wish list. Test drove it and really liked it. I came back 1 week later with my trade-in. They were very fair with the trade-in value. At that point, Jamie was out of town. I was then helped with Kimberly and I bought the truck. The entire time there was no pressure to hurry up and close the deal. While I was waiting on the business office to get the paperwork going, Kimberly and I had a good down to earth conversation. I don't want to forget the sales manager Jamie, he was super helpful and friendly. He also went the extra mile in being helpful to print out the specs on the truck so I could mull it over. The business manager, Angela, was very nice and super easy to work with. She did an excellent job explaining the all the paperwork to be signed and did the best she could the keep the process as efficient as possible. Thank you everyone that had a hand in my buying experience.

I bought my Cadillac from Edwards and it was the best car buying experience I have had with a dealer. Since then I have been more than impressed with the service department particularly Fred and Omar. They make every repair or maintenance experience outstanding. They take care of me, keep me informed, and ensure I know what will be done and when the car will be ready. Their attention to detail and customer care is outstanding. I highly recommend Edwards for car buying and all maintenance. I have dealt with many car dealers in the area and bar none Edwards is the best customer focused dealer. They listen and try their best to satisfy. I have been to many dealers who don't listen and try and sell the car they need to get off the lot. Their service department isn't concerned with customer service (completely informing you up front and keeping you updated on status). I got my Cadillac back with two new tires, completely cleaned with no maintenance paper seat covers like I have at other dealer shops. Guess what, this place even ensured all my tires had the right tire pressure in every tire! I have gotten my car back from other shops with different tire pressure in every tire and none of them correct. You want a pleasant car buying and service experience, go to Edwards, if not, any car dealer will do. Ask for Fred or Omar.
Do not use this dealer - insists on their lenders - Unsat
GM should remove all affiliation with this dealership. I should of known from the first time I walked in the showroom and no one asked me if I needed anything. I finally walked into a cubicle and asked if I could get a brochure. The person said they no longer have brochures and I could get the information on line. Then they walked away.
The prices are good, then you get there and start the loan process. From the very first visit they continue to ask for you to use their lenders. When asked for the interest rate, they never gave an interest rate just “it could be 5% to 8%”. This was after knowing the credit score.
They do not return calls. Could not get the sale price quote in a timely manner. Could not take a test drive because they would have to move too many cars to get the car you want to test drive out. There was a deadline on some discounts that was missed due to price quote delays and the salesman having the day off.
Even so, I continued to try to work with Vaughn (I know, I know - not wise on my part) and it was absolutely the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I've owned more than 20 cars in my lifetime, so the experience of purchasing a vehicle is not new to me. What was new to me, was realizing that this Dealer does not make any effort to accommodate buyers or make a sale.
The worst part was because I did not use any of their lenders, they would not release the vehicle until they received the funds. WHAT?? Yes, even though my nationally known bank’s “ letter of credit “, a legal document, guaranteed the loan amount. Vaughn was insistent that they would not release the car until they received actual payment. They do not require having actual payment from their lenders before they release the car. I asked them if their lender could match my banks interest rate and they said no. Most banks, of course, will not release funds without the proper paperwork to include being put as lien holder on a title.
For several weeks, my bank went out of their way to develop some type of compromise, but Vaughn was insistent on having the funds first or using one of their lenders. I offered a HUGH downpayment of 30% of the price. After weeks of trying to find a compromise, Vaughn stated that they would not accept my bank’s letter of credit. WHAT? Vaughn then finally stated the only way to purchase the vehicle was to use one of their lenders. This is no way to do business.
So in the end, "Vaughn Automotive" WILL NEVER get business from me again or whoever I know. Good luck to whoever goes and deals with them. Using this bullying tactic on using their lenders is unacceptable. This is what gives car salesman such a bad name and now I can see why.
Remove the Vaughn car sticker and do not advertise for this dealership.
We are also wanting to purchase a new truck in the coming year. I wouldn't return to this place for a free, fully loaded truck. Don't waste your time driving to this dealership, it's worth paying more money at another place. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. If you'd like to have a real, customer-oriented buying experience, then stay away from this place! Find another place to spend your money.

I had an absolutely excellent sales experience at Richardson! Tim Eppler was a top notch salesman and was attentive to my needs and confident in his approach without being pushy at all. Truck was detailed upon my arrival and they even through in a set of mud flaps AFTER negotiation was completed! Not only would I recommend Richardson, I would and will buy from them again as long as they have what I am looking for! Their finance department was great and did not try to push all of the extra$$ dealer perks on me at all. Their figures matched mine and it was a done deal! I am a happy customer and I love my truck!
I was not very impressed with the detail department and their ability to touch up rock chips... They used the wrong color and I can see it. I have a blue truck and they used some kind of blue green paint....
