Community Motors, Cedar Falls Iowa, sold a new car to my parents, who are in their 90s, a couple days ago. For a variety of reasons, this sale should have never happened. The car was driven a couple miles, parked in the garage. When we became aware of what happened, we had tried to work with the dealership to return the car. The conversation was pretty short - the person we spoke to at the dealership refused to consider taking the car back. I feared that the dealership had taken advantage of my elderly parents.

Called around 11AM on Friday to order parts for my truck. Parts guy guaranteed they’d be here between 7:30AM-8AM on Saturday. I didn’t think to check the parts departments hours because he GUARANTEED they would be coming in. Called Saturday around 8:30AM to find out that the parts department was closed. Sales guy I talked to did try to find the parts by calling the service guy and I apologize to him for my attitude. But I am now stuck another 2 days over 2 hours from home because Molsteads parts guys can’t get out bed without hurting themselves.

Drivers seat was left unbolted after having the body control module repaired (nothing to do with taking the drivers seat out) I took it around the block and about wrecked into a telephone pole. Examining the car after returning home the back seat had bolts and rats in it and a part of my drivers seat was broken off.
After $7000 and several times of them finally diagnosing the Cadillac. I called the manager and was told I probably unbolted my drivers seat.
Never again will they have my buisiness.

Well, went to trade in the wifes 2011 Ford Explorer today, nothing wrong 139,000 miles. Now at June 2019 and was told sorry your vehicle has a car fax report from a dealer repair at 30,000 says it was in an accident in 2013 two owners ago. Holy crap that's nice to know at least it was fixed correctly by a dealer, I think to myself. Their response is nope sorry, can't give you trade on what it's worth. It has orginal title. When did car fax rule between original title and salvage title?
