Great dealership with friendly staff - dtrinh
We found a great deal on a used BMW 5 series. Contacted Cheryl Ruedy and she got back to us right away. Cheryl was extremely friendly and accommodating with our schedule for the test drive. Also the sale manager is very honest and thorough with his inspection when we requested the car to get a second inspection.
We came in didn’t expect much but left with a very nice vehicle. I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family.
Treaated me like family. - Gary
Everyone from the sales manager to the sales person treated me well. I would recommend this dealer ship to anyone needing a new vehicle. You cannot go wrong with a sales person. I dealt with Jakob, who allowed me to drive the vehicle home to show my wife. After she said okay, the deal was done.
Great Experience - KIA Krazy
Car shopping is always a scary experience, but this time it was great. No pressure. Everything about the vehicle was explained to me and comparisons made to similar style vehicles.
Great Service & Sales everytime - Enviro-Dyne

Top Notch Service - Rsweet
I had been truck shopping for about 4 months. I went to Grand Rapids GM to get a used truck. After talking with Dan I realized that the offered incentives through GM could get me into a new truck for even cheaper than used. I would totally recommend going into Rapids GM to have a look for yourself. 5 Star Customer Service!
Amazing ownership, management and staff!!!! - mightymets06
Absolutely A+!!! Shout out to Jordan, Micky and Paul for helping our son out in his time of need. They took the time to listen, communicate and complete the repairs in a professional manner. Having our son go to school 26 hours away, it is very nice to see that other respect that and want to take care of him like their own. My wife and I can't thank you enough!!!!!
Pleased Pastor - classicalpastordave
I recently purchased a used 2014 Buick LaCrosse from Whitaker GMC and it is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. My salesman was Gary Miskowic and he was very helpful as I test-drove the car and considered my options. I had dealt with Gary earlier when one of my sons bought his first vehicle and he helped him make his decision. I had to finance the vehicle and it is always fun to hear the stories the Bob Flinn. I even had the General Manager Jim Bush stop in to see how I was doing. Over the past three years, my family has purchased six vehicles from Whitaker Buick GMC and we have been pleased with every purchase.

I apologize for the delayed response. I had a great experience with the sales and financial staff who helped me obtain my truck. Their service was impeccable and I will highly recommend them to others in the future.
Oil change and minor warranty work - T Hay
I needed to have the oil changed in the vehicle and with Kruse's Free Oil for Life on vehicle sales, there is no reason not to use them. I was also having a minor issue with the alignment of the headlights and they quickly checked and adjusted them for me.
Purchase 2019 Buick Envision. - jmkesler
All employees at McCarthy Auto World are considerate and knowledgeable about vehicles, including the management staff. We especially like dealing with salesman Mel S. for his friendly and upbeat attitude.
Great First Purchase!! - E Riehle
A fantastic dealership and great service after the sale! Brian Beck made me feel VIP when others failed. Everyone involved in the purchase was focused and attentive. Tyler Plagge, the $$ guy, made everything perfectly clear and easy. The service dept. was efficient, thorough and personable, thanks to Chris & Skyler! After the impeccable detail and warranty work done by them we chose Nelson's to service my wife's Journey as well.
I drove more than half a dozen "identical" models of RAM truck at other dealers in the region, Nelson's offer being the first. After all that travel (Nelson's is 50+ miles from my home) to Fergus Falls, Fargo-Moorhead and in between, It was a no-brainer. Nelson's will be first for every purchase from now on. Highly recommended!
Great Customer Service - Doug
Dave Middleton was great! The time he took to show every detail was amazing. He made sure my bluetooth, onstar, and the GM app were working properly before I left. Very thorough and sincere. Have to admit this was one of the most pleasant car-buying experiences ever!
Never will I buy again or recommend to anyone. - Vahid
I've had an awful experience since I bought my car a handful of months ago. The only upgrade I wanted was the stereo - so I went with the "site and sounds" option for a extra $2000. Long story short, vehicle showed up with a blown stereo. Brought it in three times, they told me that it was fixed by changing setting on the stereo itself. False, the subwoofer sounded like someone was shaking a metal box full of nails. I had to make the manager look at the woofer with me and sit in the car until they changed two of the 9 speakers. Oh yeah, it takes a month for speaker parts to show up. I had asked the dealership to replace the entire stereo. They said they'll replace speakers as they start sounding back. I'm currently waiting on one of the tweeter to be fixed.
Lower control arms have been making noise since the day I bought the car. I've brought the vehicle in at least 4-5 times regarding the "thud" noise it makes every time I hit the brake. They ordered control arms and installed them once. Turns out the noise didn't go away - they ordered the same faulty control arms!! Apparently, GM is working on a fix for control arms with NO timeline. So, I'm driving a new car that sounds like chuck Norris is kicking every time I brake. I've brought the car in at least 10 times since I bought it (please note, I bought a new car in order to avoid maintenance).
Servicemen have at times not called me back for updates for up to a month. I will say they have been at least kind and semi empathetic. Unlike the salesmen, who fulfill most of the used car salesman stereotypes society talks about. They ignored me after I signed the paperwork. Seemed like they had no empathy about the brand new car they sold me having so many issues. When I asked for something as a reparation - they actually xxxxing told me they wouldn't let me blackmail them. Wow! I'm not going to buy a vehicle with Lupient ever again, nor will I ever advise anyone in my life to do so. I’ll also go across town to buy accessories for my Buick Regal Tourx at this point. OH YEAH, they told me 4 years 50000 mile warranty - which was a lie when I was buying the car. It had somehow been "activated" at the dealership 9 month prior to my purchasing it. So, I have a 3.25 year 48000 (ish) mile warranty on the car. LIES LIES LIES BY LUPIENT BUICK GMC. I held off on writing reviews for almost 7 months hoping they would change their awful service. My patience has run out - I'd give them a 0 if I could.
Worst experience at a car dealership - jduluth
Worst dealership ever. Walked after being ignored for 10 minutes. Finally had to ask for help. After being walked over to the sales managers. The first one laughed in my face. I will never go back here. They will treat you poorly.
Extended warranty - Honestgirl
I brought my car in for a loud exhaust. After looking at it they told me to fix the exhaust it would cost $1000. The car is five years old. I bought it used at Harry Browns two years ago. It was "certified and inspected". I decided to purchase the "best extended warranty....bumper to bumper" to the tune of over 4000. Well, the exhaust was NOT covered under warranty because it was due to rust. On a five year old car? I put my car through a wash that cleans the under carriage in the winter. In my opinion 1 of 2 things happened here. Either it was not inspected the way I trusted it would be or Dodge uses cheap materials and refuses to stand behind their products. Either way the bumper to bumper warranty was USELESS to me even though the exhaust is between the bumpers...go figure! Anyway, I took the car to another service center and got the problem fixed for $52.01. MUCH less..... At least Harry Browns didn't charge me the service fee of $122.00 just for looking at the vehicle to find the problem and the service writer was very nervous about talking with me. I do think he felt pretty bad about having to tell me the warranty was useless. That is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. My concerns in buying this extended warranty are coming true. Take my money....don't stand behind what you sell....hope you sleep good at night.....
They failed to detect a failing transmission - Rocky
Bought a new GMC pickup which managed to have some drivetrain problems at 60K. Their Service dept did not find anything. Then just past the 70K warranty mark the transmission failed and had to be serviced by another dealer at full price.
Service and Purchase of a new vehicle. - ChevyBuyer
They made us, (my wife and me), feel like long time friends. Their Service Department staff were great when we brought in our old vehicle for repairs, getting us in on the 4th of July weekend. That's why we decided to look at new vehicles there and were lucky enough to meet Mike and Kelli. Congrats to Brandl for their excellent selection of personnel. We love the new Equinox.
Very nice shopping experience - Jennifer H
Mike L and the guys at Christian Motors were a huge help for me when I was looking for a newer vehicle. They took the time to find exactly what I was looking for and were very patient during the whole process to find me the right vehicle!!
Very disappointed in car purchase - baxtermac
I purchased a 2014 Yukon from Davis Motors. When I first looked at the vehicle and said I would purchase it, they promised to clean it up. I pointed put where it needed to be detailed and they assured me it would be done. Because the carpets were covered with white paper when I did pick it up and I failed to look it over carefully, this is partially my fault. I would have walked away from this deal had I looked closer. I am used to dealing with Mills GM in Baxter, MN and used vehicles are spotless and anything promised is done. Not so with Davis. Nothing had been done except it looks like it was run through a car wash before delivery. The carpets were awful. When photos were sent to the salesman and the owner, they made no reply. No detail work had been done. Be very careful because they will promise anything and do nothing as far as I can see. I will never deal here again.
Misrepresented the condition of a used vehicle. - GrandSlambert
I purchased a used truck from them that was advertised as in "Excellent" condition. Since purchasing the truck in November I have spent $1,300 repairing leaks in the oil, coolant, and power steering systems. I had to entirely replace the high pressure lines that had obviously been leaking while on the lot. Now I have a $1,400 estimate to fix the air conditioning - a system I was told by the salesman was working even though it's obvious the system was leaking when they sold it to me.
I have contacted the dealer with no resolution. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT purchase a used vehicle from this dealership unless they provide a warranty. I was not provided one and not given any option to buy an extended warranty. They knew this truck was in poor condition and lied about it to get it off the lot.
