Absolutely frustrating service department. Dropped our Edge off over two weeks ago for transmission work. It was slipping noticeably but because it didn't show a "code" the technicians were unable to determine the problem. A week later, after a transmission service, they decided it was a bad torque converter. Said a new one would be in that Friday. A week later it arrived. They said it would be ready to pickup that evening, now Monday, two weeks after we dropped it off. Now Tuesday afternoon and they don't know when it will be ready. We have a premium extended warranty that includes a loaner or rental car. After telling us a loaner would be available in a day or two...no loaner has been provided. We fearcafter all this time, almost 12 business days, it will need a new transmission!!

Leased a 2025 IONIQ 5 from Sport Durst Hyundai in Durham, NC in August 2025. Two issues, zero accountability. Issue 1: We were explicitly promised Hyundai's Level 2 home charger promotion at signing. Turns out it had ended a month earlier. When we discovered this, the sales rep acknowledged in writing that they'd given us false information and were "working to have Hyundai honor the credit." That was September. It's now December. Total silence. We bought our own charger for $344. Issue 2: They never properly transferred our license plates. Four months later, NC DMV still shows them registered to our trade-in. Also listed the wrong county. Nobody returns calls. Hyundai's response? "Not our problem. We used a third party to run that promotion, and dealers can do whatever they want." Funny, that's not how it works anywhere else: * Amazon uses third-party sellers. Order wrong? Amazon makes it right. * DoorDash uses third-party drivers. Food missing? DoorDash refunds you. * Airlines use third-party baggage handlers. Lost luggage? The airline compensates you. * McDonald's franchises are independently owned. Corporate still enforces standards. If your brand is on it, you own it. That's how accountability works everywhere except, apparently, Hyundai. The car is great. The corporate accountability is a case study in how not to treat customers.

Horrible experience! Made a noon appointment to drive from Mountain City TN to their Salisbury location, 120 miles, to test drive a Ram 1500 they had on their website. When I got there they told me the vehicle was being reconditioned at a facility 100 miles away! I drove 120 miles!!! They first said they could have it there by mid afternoon. So I decided to wait. By mid afternoon they decided they wouldn’t be able to get it there! Mind-boggling! I did wind up buying the truck. They kept if for a couple of days for detailing. But when they finally delivered it to my house NO detailing had been performed! They delivered it with NO dealer tag! They gave me a thumb drive that was supposed to have all my documentation on it, but it was empty! They DIRECTED me to illegally drive the truck with the plate registered to my other vehicle! Still trying to work through their mess!!

It saddens me to have to write this because I was treated well the last time I was there. The service department has changed in that little bit of time I took my vehicle in for a oil change and tire rotation only to find out later that the tire rotation was not done. But I was never told this the only way I found out was I took a look at my paperwork work only to see that they wrote that the rotation was not done because they didn't have the wheel lock key. Ok I didn't have the key in the cup holder however I was at the dealership they could have just asked for it but they chose to skip the service.… wrong wrong wrong. What if one of the tires were defected dangerous on their part I called to speak to a manager and he did return my call but we missed each other I called back the next day and left a message for him never got a call back. So I called the service department back and not in these exact words but I was told I got what I paid for. But that's not what I made the service for I don't think I'll be using them anymore I can't trust them. It's just amazing how they will ring your phone off the hook begging you to come in and then treat you like garbage all I will say is if you go here walk around your vehicle going in and walk around when it comes out check your paperwork before you leave

After Sales service is absolute garbage. I made the mistake of buying some extended warranty packages from the finance manager. I sold traded the car for something else and requested a refund of my extended warranty. 3 months later they still have not started the cancellation process after numerous calls and sending them the necessary paper work multiple times. I went in person today to talk to the finance manager about this. After waiting an hour I decided to leave since he was "busy" as soon as I started my car i look in and who comes around the corner but him. I walk back inside try to speak to him, he lies to me saying everything has been completed on his end (I verified yesterday this is not the case) then tells me he doesn't have time for me he has a "customer". I guess I am not a customer anymore there in University Fords eyes. I have been left with no choice but to file complaints and make sure the public knows what they are getting into stepping through the doors here. PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP.

Purchased a 2024 gmc canyon 9-5-25 and was told it would be ready next day (Saturday) I went Monday it was not ready and they did not attempt to inform me. 30 minutes drive one way wasted. Vehicle was finally delivered 10-20-25!!!! Warranty for vehicle was finally put in place Late December. All through this all communication was initiated by me. This is by far the worse dealership I have worked with in the past 50 years! Beware, they promise but do not deliver, they do not know their business from manager to sales person to finance person.

Do not go here or to Anton. I was made to believe I was family while there but as soon as I bought a vehicle I was nothing. The floor mats that were in the vehicle when I made the purchase was removed and not put back for "detailing" while paperwork was being finalized. When I called the first time Anton said he would find them and ship them. 2 weeks later no floor mats. I called again, he said he found them and was looking at them but forgot to ship them but would do it that day. Called a 3rd time said he already shipped them but couldn't find the tracking number. Called 4,5,6,7,8,9 times again. He never shipped them. Manager said he would find out what was going and would call me back. Never called me back. Was told they found them and shipped them asked for a tracking number, told they would send it in a message. They didn't. Called again for tracking number and got a picture of a box. Finally received 15.00 floor mats. They are not the floor mats that was in the car. I have pictures to prove it. The heat doesn't work in the car, side mirrors don't move, rear windshield wiper doesn't even go with the car its too big and has scraped the hatch, wiper fuild cap is completely missing among other things. I repeat do not go here. I have included pictures of the grey mats that went with the car vs the cheap ones they sent me that are black.

January 19, 2026 My wife and I were looking for a Nissan Pathfinder Platinum with captain’s chairs. I found two listed online at Monroe Nissan—one with captain’s chairs and one without—so we decided to stop by in person. We arrived around 6:15 PM and walked into the showroom. There were several vehicles on the floor, but no Pathfinders. After standing in the showroom for 5–10 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone, we went outside to try to locate the Pathfinders ourselves. We spent another 15 minutes outside with no assistance, and we still could not access or see the vehicles we came to look at. We eventually walked back to our car and left. This was, without question, the worst dealership experience I have ever had. While I can’t say for certain, there appeared to be a salesperson at the desk on his phone the entire time we were there, despite customers walking around unassisted. We came ready to look seriously at a Pathfinder Platinum, but the complete lack of customer service ensured we took our business elsewhere. We will be continuing our search with a dealership that values customers and is willing to help.

Purchases a 2013 BMW from Seasell and less than 500 miles had to take to a shop and the repair bill was $2,400.Black replied to my first review and said contact Seasell .I contacted the owner and he said that he could not help with the repair bill! Disgusting after only having less than a week!I traded a 2007 BMW 525 and Blake said he would ha e to wholesale it due to high miliage,well that's not true either! Seasell has it on their lot for $4,280.Big jump from a $ 800.00 dollar trade! Best I can advise anyone is Buyer Beware of Seasell auto dealership.
