Yes I bought 2 cars. Wants and needs in this economy can be hard to choose from but I didn't have to. I needed safety top most but was able to get it it all with the hard work from Kelly, got the SUV for space to haul my 2 kids and their little friends let's face it carseats are bulky and huge and now I can just hook up my trailer whenever I need for a load of mulch or whatnot for the garden. I also got a car for it's fuel efficiency and everyday driving. I couldn't be happier. Even though now I live in Georgia I saw no other reason not to come back to Kelly and Nick for my family's needs.

In fact started with a 2018 model and ended buying a 2019. With incentives and all the 2019 ended up being the better deal. We were elated. Eric and I ran into Doug and his co-worker Bruce one evening after having not having any luck car shopping and spoke to them about it. They gave me a business card and asked me to come check out what they had and to see what they could do for me. So the next day after work Eric and I went down there to Providence auto and Bruce and Doug absolutely nailed it the first SUV 2016 Jeep Cherokee latitude it had everything I asked for and more they got me approved and was able to stay within my budget. I would highly recommend both Doug and Bruce to anyone especially if you want to be treated like family. Thank you k you both again so much.

I have been to Buchanan Automotive 2 times to purchase a vehicle. First with Jerry Edmondson and 2nd with Jennifer McCleaf. Both are excellent employees very personable and helpful, overall two wonderful people and Buchanan should be proud. I do however, have an issue with( not sure if he is the general manager or assistant manager), Mike. I called and asked a simple question, and he was so rude, he actually made me cry. I really feel he needs a class in Anger Management. For that reason at this time, my husband and I will not be able to recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from you, until I know he is given some pointers in how to be a leader at your business. This is so sad, because everyone else was so cordial. It is true though that one bad apple can spoil the whole batch.

I previously had a 2014 Buick Encore that I "loved"---it was just the right car for me and my needs. I was looking and found my exact same car but a new 2018 at Thomas in Johnstown and wanted to grab it before it got away, it's the same thing I had. When I went to the dealer my salesman John Phillips went thru many different things and explained everything to me. We took the car on a test drive and he explained different features with me---he was very thorough. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating at the dealership. When I picked up my car this afternoon, Tom Kirby, helped in getting me set up with all the different internet, computer, etc. features. He gave me his card and said to call or email if I had any more questions on any of the internet type things ---that is very reassuring to me because I am computer challenged at times. It was a very pleasant experience and reassuring to know that if there is any questions or anything I know that I can call or drop by and they will get me fixed up.

I was looking for a used car for my son on a budget of $5,000 to $7,000. I found a car at Granite and submitted an inquiry through cars.com. A dealer rep (Alex) emailed me back and I asked if the car was still available. He said that it was and we confirmed that I would be there in less than an hour to look at it. I thought he would have had the car and a salesperson somewhat ready. When I walked in they were obviously not expecting me and the salesman had to look into where the car was at. He found that it was in the budget lot a few miles away but that there were people looking at it who planned to buy it. As I came to find out, those people were there prior to my emailing Alex, who apparently did NOTHING in response to my email. The salesman then drew my attention to another car (also in the budget lot) and we drove down there to see it. Upon driving it there was obviously a problem with one of the rear wheels and/or brakes. The lone employee/manager at the budget lot emphatically said that he would not fix the car and that it passed inspection which was good enough for them. Both the salesman and the manager did a considerable amount of complaining about Alex (for not even checking as to whether the car was available) as well as their own service department. The budget lot manager claimed that their service department charges them the same labor rate as a person off the street, which is why he could only offer the car in a state of disrepair. After I left I called back to speak to the manager but never heard back. Later in the day I got a canned email from Alex, who was apparently oblivious to the problems he'd created. You know a dealership has problems when instead of trying to make things right and work out a deal they are bad-mouthing each other to customers. Don't waste your time.
