I felt they were trustsworthy. The finance manager, Matt, worked to get me the best deal. Overall awesome experience! Went through two cars from them 1st was a blue mustang that I had to replace motor less the 3 months of getting in trans went out brought it back the gave me a Honda raise my car payment to 600 a month heater quit working less then 20day of having the car the day 36 it's CV joint busted and had to tow home call them they can pick it up took it to there shop then told me I have to fix it myself I'm starting to think this place don't do ligit inspection on there car just slap the stick and rip people off sorry 8k for a car I should not be having any problems but seem they don't care going up there Monday to talk with them if they don't fix the problem I will be calling every news station and make xxxx sure your business shuts it rip off door sorry but I have every right to be upset I hope someone does to u as u do to your community by ripping the poor off for there hard earned money stay away from us auto off Truman Rd in Independence,mo

Transmission went in my vehicle. Stocker wanted to charge me excessive fees above and beyond my extended warranty. $500 fee for "handling the transmission when it got delivered", "credit card fee because warranty company was paying them by credit card", and additional fees for labor. all totaling in excess of $2300. Ultimately I had the vehicle towed back home to the chevy dealer i bought the car from. Stocker service staff were nice, but I simply could not accept all the extra billings. Had they simply honored my warranty (like my dealer) they would have got the job and made $$$ in the long run. Stocker- suggest you reconsider your policy on fees!

Guru Auto in Easton is an awful dealership that will say and do anything to get the sale. I bought a Honda Civic from them 1 year ago. It was my first experience buying a used car, so I didn’t know what to expect, and I needed a car ASAP at that point. When I went in, they kept telling me about how it was such a great deal for this car and how it wouldn’t last much longer with their current “discounted pricing.” I went through the process to purchase the car and was told that it had just passed the state inspection and emissions test the previous week and was all set to go. My fatal flaw was taking their word for it and trusting them to sell me a quality car that had passed inspection. Obviously, they paid off whoever did the inspection because there’s no way it could have passed in that condition. In the year since purchasing the car, I have only put about 4,000 miles on the car (now at 115,000 miles), yet the power locks suddenly stopped working, the immobilizer system broke, and the tires have needed replaced because they were mysteriously dry rotted and had no tread despite being brand new tires when I test drove the vehicle. In addition, the battery needed replaced because there was an after-market alarm on the car that drained the battery, the rear brake shoes needed replaced, and I had to replace the timing belt, the water pump, the power steering belt, and the a/c and alternator belt… plus the radio and clock mysteriously died. Oh… and the driver’s seat had to be bolted back to the car because it was ready to come off, which likely would have caused a horrendous accident. You’d be far better off going elsewhere because Guru has abysmal customer service, and it sells junk cars. In total, I have now spent about $2,600 in repairs in the past year.

If I could give them a 6 star rating for customer service, I would. Jay and Derek were outstanding. I was amazed at how I was treated compared to other mainstream dealers that I visited. There are a few 1 star reviews on this place that almost pushed me away, but here’s my story from top to bottom if you’re reading the 1 stars and getting freaked out: I’m a very particular buyer, about 150 miles outside of the Phili area. 1ownercar had a high-priced truck there that was exactly what I wanted. When I first spoke with Jay, he was very straightforward with me. I was skeptical about the whole process of driving out of town to a 3rd party dealer, but with the way that he answered questions he gained my trust. He sent me the Carfax, and had his technician send me extra pictures of the truck. 26 extra pictures! After seeing the pictures of the truck, I called Derek (the partner), and spoke with him about it. He was understanding, straightforward, and accommodating. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear. He told me what I needed to hear. They respected my intent, and held the vehicle for about 5 days while I made arrangements to get out there to purchase the truck. They suggested that I take it to a professional mechanic for a look over, and didn’t recommend any particular mechanic, which I respect. On my drive up to Phili I received a call from Jay that the radio wasn’t working properly. He said that since I was on my way up that Derek would cover the costs to fix it if the deal worked out - very professional. The truck was in great shape when I got there except for the radio. I was able to take it on a lengthy test drive and went on my own to the professional mechanic’s building. The mechanic also reported a pretty flawless vehicle except for the radio. The truck was, in my impression, very well priced, even with the radio issues that were going to be covered by Derek. I had done a lot of research and was pleased with the selling price. I appreciated Derek’s wiggle room for front floor mats that were missing, but basically paid the sale price as listed. The check-out process went well. The sales center is small, but the customer service makes up for it. You can tell that the energy is positive. Their warranties are very well priced as well. I would recommend this to any used car owner for peace of mind. The truck was detailed for me to go, and Derek let me store my Honda in his lot to pick up later. He even paid for my first tank of gas in the truck! Fast forward four days later, the truck is running great, and I took the vehicle into a GMC dealer to get the radio fixed. Derek followed up with his word, and paid for the radio to get fixed. I didn’t have to lift a finger. He settled directly with the dealer. They don’t make straightforward, stand-up guys like Jay and Derek any more, especially as car salesmen. I can’t say enough about how honest they were. They gave me good information, advice, and whatever I needed to let me make the most expensive purchase that I’ve made in the last 5 years. Don’t let the looks of the dealership or the fact that they are a 3rd party scare you away. They treated me like family. They will give you the truth and honest truth so you can make the best decision on your own. This is the honest truth from my end: I had to jump through a few hoops, but this is the best car buying experience that I’ve ever had.

I recently had my Volvo serviced at Ray Price Volvo in the Poconos, and the experience was nothing short of terrible. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. No one greeted me as I pulled into the service drive with my 16-month-old daughter. Even as I unbuckled her from her car seat, we were completely ignored. Eventually, someone from the shop walked past without acknowledgment, and after waiting, I was finally assisted by Janice Stiff, the service manager. Janice’s customer service skills are appalling. I came in for a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection, but my concerns were dismissed, and I felt judged for driving an older, high-mileage vehicle. She didn’t bother to explain the technician’s recommendations for repairs or provide an estimate before abruptly telling me my car was ready. It was clear she assumed I wouldn’t proceed with repairs simply because of my vehicle’s age—a biased and discriminatory attitude that I found deeply offensive. To make matters worse, the dealership used “Mazda 5W-30 Conventional” oil in my vehicle, which does not meet the ACEA A1/B1 specifications required by my Volvo’s manual. While I did not address this mistake with Ray Price Volvo, I have contacted Volvo corporate about the issue. If a Volvo dealership cannot even perform a basic oil change correctly, how can you trust them to handle more critical and complex repairs safely? Janice Stiff’s lack of professionalism and the dealership’s overall incompetence have seriously damaged my trust in the Volvo brand. I had been strongly considering purchasing a new Volvo as a replacement for our totaled Subaru, but this experience has completely turned me off. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for service. A dealership that treats customers like second-class citizens and makes fundamental mistakes cannot be trusted to prioritize safety or deliver the quality of service expected from Volvo. Avoid Ray Price Volvo at all costs.

My husband and I recently bought a car and suv. They were both good quality used cars. My car did not have an owners manuel but I did not realize it until after we had purchased the cars. I call Marcos and he got me one at no cost. It is a very relaxed there. They were not pushy like some car dealer. They were just very helpful and friendly. When we need our next car we will go to Sunset.
