Ramey a Dealership worthy of Traveling through a Blizzard! - 18 Black Transit Connect Titanium Ramey Ford Fan
Outstanding Ramey Ford, much more than just a Car Dealership. The staff and service center far exceeded our expectation in our recent purchase of an Amazing 2018 Ford Transit Connect Titanium package van. In particular, our Sales Consultant "Danny 'Murph' Murphy" made the experience easy, clear, and totally no hassle. He was the singular reason why we drove ( threw one of the worst white out blizzards up around FLATOP, WV) we have ever seen! Danny communicated extremely effectively for about two-weeks with us, and made our decision to go with Ramey all the more easy. We researched about 18 SUV's, Trucks, and Vans. We live in a suburb of Charleston in essence and there are loads of Dealership choices. All are/were very good and in fact we found a few Vehicles that were in competition with the Van. After careful consideration, and the help of Mr. Murphy (Danny) we decided to trek to beautiful Princeton, WV 24740. This was decided because Danny actually had taken pictures, videos, and sent web links so we could have a very good idea of the size of the Van, interior, exterior the whole nine yards. My wife and I were in kind of a rush as we needed to get a rental back at a certain time. Once we arrived at Ramey Ford, which by the way is (SUPER SIMPLE TO GET TO FROM I-77) we were greeted by Danny, with the Transit Connect all cleaned up, warmed, and ready to go! Danny immediately shakes our hands and said here's your Van ready to go. The Transit Connect is amazing, very stable, fuel efficient, beautiful interior, with Leather package; and we have a pot -bellied pig which will again hopefully start to go on trips with us, thanks to this 6 to 7 seater Van with flat folding seats. We did a very short test drive, and new that was EXACTLY what we wanted. Upon return, it was "SOLD" from our mouths. Very painless process all the way around. Everyone we came in contact with were genuinely decent energetic people. Wonderful in fact, not in a phony way. The staff was extremely sincere. It took about 10 minutes for some small paperwork and Military discounts to be taken care of swiftly by Danny Murphy; and then he went and put on the tags and filled up the VAN, which by the way Ramey Ford kindly took care of; and then we were off to John the Finance Manager whom was amazing, and very kind. John explained everything very clear, in a professional way. We had no questions because he answered everything far above our expectations. My wife and I had to sign electronically a few documents and literally we were done. (Note: this time around we were really in a time crunch, and worried about the weather. Ramey, Danny Murphy, John, L.T. Schoonover, and the G.M were paramount in teaching us; and getting us in and out very swiftly; which we will always appreciate)! As we were talking with John the finance Manager we discovered that My wife had a personal friend at RAMEY FORD. L.T. Schoonover a wonderful employee at Ramey, was once a young baby held in my Wifes Arms. My wife was a babysitter of L.T. and his sibling. I remember when we first got together she would talk about how she loved "those kids" and that 'they were the best kids she had ever taken care of' Now that says a lot because we have 3 kids and 6 grandkids. The moral especially in this case once a great kid, always a great Man. L.T. came over and we all talked about the funny experience. So for my wife that made the trip all the more worth while, and brought it right back home. Danny Murphy took us to meet the G.M. whom was very helpful and nice. We interrupted his lunch I think, but without missing a beat he spoke to us; and thanked us and was very kind. To top it off, Danny filled up our rental car with windshield wiper fluid, which I was concerned about because of the blowing snow and salt on I-77. They swiftly directed us to the service center which helped us and Danny even wiped off our windows, now you tell me if you have ever had a Sales rep this professional, Caring, and to the point helpful? I have traveled all over; and bought many cars. Danny Murphy stands out among all of them; as does Ramey Ford. The building/showroom very clean, warm, welcoming. It has chandeliers on the ceiling and just a very bright; and comfortable experience. We enjoyed the experience BIG TIME, and we were tired, worn out; and in a rush; which they remedied right away. If you want a Sales Rep that will blow your mind in Professionalism, and Old Days caring contact DANNY 'MURPH' Murphy! He is the deal maker, and a total pro in all ways. He will not offer you anything that he cannot deliver, very straight forward and just the best! The finance Manager John is genuine, kind, and very fast and helpful. He will take care of You. L.T. Schoonover, excellent in all ways; and went out of his way to speak and be kind to us. Total Pro as well. Lets really not forget the G.M. I do not know his name, but really he gets a ton of credit because he has put together an outstanding team, with a beautiful Dealership dwelling, in a very easy to get to Prime location. It was just a wild, bizzare, fun, and great experience all the way around. This is text-book perfection on what buying a vehicle should be like; Mad Props to the Ramey Ford team. I recently bought a new 2017 Ford Fiesta from freedom Ford. This is my first new car being purchased and I can not stand by the product, because being brand new, it runs great we will all see how the Fiesta holds up over time. I can though say that the service and the sales experience was excellent. I am a college student and they did everything they could to put me in a car for the payment that I needed to be at. Also while I was waiting to see how the paperwork turned out, I was approached by another salesmen and gave me a curtiousy ride in the new Focus rs, while we waited. So all in all they were great. I began looking for a used Transit Connect Cargo Van with certain features. Given the lack of used ones available, I shifted my search to a new 2017 model. I found one locally (Columbus, OH), but then decided to see if I could find a better deal elsewhere. I didn't seem to have much luck with local dealers trying to find any other vehicles. After expanding my internet search to 100 mile radius, Astorg Ford showed up. They had a vehicle that matched my requirements - actually had a couple of additional features. I sent a request for quote around 2am. I was amazed at the quick response of Bill Gum. By around 10am I had 2-3 emails and a missed call from Bill. I continued to request additional info, which Bill quickly responded. I called Bill to say I would be in the coming Saturday and set specific expectations for my visit. He had personally inspected the vehicle and had it ready when I arrived (even pulled it inside due to expected rain). I ended up saving about $1500 over what I could have bought locally. And if that wasn't enough, while there, my wife spotted a 2018 Ford Escape that she really liked. I can't remember the other guy's name, but he thoroughly looked over our vehicle and provided a quote with trade-in and a couple of financing options. Bill allowed us time and his computer for me to compare prices elsewhere and check my trade-in value. The result - we ended up driving two new vehicles home (back to Columbus) that day! It was a great experience working with Bill and the others at Astorg.

Very arrogant sales personal. Lack of respect for customer. Apparently if you didn't buy your vehicle from this dealership, then you don't matter. I was referred to another dealership for service. I will recommend to the many oilfield contractors that I employee as well as the company that I work for to start using another dealership for service and sales.

Put my 2000 F150 in to get repaired. ( motor bogging down when push the gas and OD light blinking) They had my truck for 8 weeks and never fixed it. They towed it back to my house and just gave up. I told them when they got it what I wanted them to check out first and Jim (service manager) started checking everything but what I asked them to check. 5 weeks later they contact the "ford hotline" and Ford tells them exactly what I told them to check in the first place IMAGINE THAT! I had to call them because they never called me to give updates updates. Even the owner (Mr Thomassen) told me on the phone that they were putting my truck off to work on other vehicles and that they had another truck in there that has been there for 2 months. What???
When I got home to see my truck in my drive way, it is covered in dust, grease globs and greasy hand prints are all over my drivers side door and both fenders. Where were the fender protectors??? I lift the hood and find puddles of transmission fluid and more nasty grease all over the place. I am furious with how unprofessional and incompetent these clowns are! Mechanics my xxx. And the owner......... I have to ask........... What the xxxx kind of business are you running there. This review is just the beginning. All of social media is going to hear about your sorry xxxxx unless you make good on your mistakes.

they told me one thing all the way through till signing papers then when i see where they registered vehicle to my previous address in another state after saying going to current was no issue. Salesman also pushed a lease for over 45 minutes as I kept telling him absolutely no lease he would not give it up. After all said an done an I take delivery of car the salesman told me they altered credit ap to get me approved as on my ssi I did not make enough to get approved for specific car which would have been fine if i known i could have got a car that could got approved for I do not like a dealership who lies just to get a sale.

Recently had my Kia Sorrento in for bodywork ( oct.2014) Sherri in the service dept. was wonderful and the work done was exceptional! Their prices are extremely reasonable and as a hard working person I appreciated this most of all!! As an aside ,The service dept. manager Jeff was very personable and it was nice to have initially been introduced to him!
