She explains everything and walks you through the entire process and makes sure you are completely satisfied with your service. I have been a customer for years. I had a disappointing experience working with the sales manager, Colin. I was comparing two identical vehicles—same year, same trim—with about a 15,000 mile difference and only about a $4,000 price gap. When I questioned that, the pricing was justified using a per-mile calculation, which doesn’t reflect how these vehicles are actually valued in the market. Mileage is a factor, but it’s not a straight-line formula like that. What stood out even more was the inconsistency in communication. I was initially told there was no flexibility or discounts available, but later told a small discount was the “final” offer. That contradiction made the process feel unclear and not very transparent. I’m glad I clarified all of this over the phone before making the trip, because based on that interaction, it didn’t seem like there was a genuine willingness to work toward a deal.

Great customer service experience from Malcolm in this the Chevrolet car service. Malcolm found the issue with my horn serviced my horn and also changed the oil in a timely fashion. I also got my stabilizers replaced on my Tahoe. My vehicle is now driving dramatically better! Thanks Malcolm for your excellent customer service!

If it were possible, I would give Damascus Chevrolet negative stars. I found the salesmen to be pushy and obnoxious. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Damascus Chevrolet for a car. I had trouble getting anyone to help me, either on the phone or when I sent an email. The sales people are unprofessional, and just rude. I was given false information about a car over the phone, I suspect just to get me to come in. Steer clear of this dealership unless you feel you need to be punished for something. They embody every negative stigmatism of the characteristics of a used car salesman. BY FAR, the WORST dealership I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I won't ever go back; unless of course I want to taunt them mercilessly. They don't deserve your business. Stay away!

I am completely disgusted with the manner in which this dealership works. My husband & I went to the TATE CHEVY to purchase a vehicle WITHOUT utilizing the financing of this company (meaning we were paying "cash" for the vehicle by using financing from our Credit Union). After we were chose the vehicle and agreed upon a price, we were still asked to submit a credit application in the event there was a "problem with the check". We explained that we did not want our credit to be run, however we signed the form and added next to our signature "Not to be run unless there is a problem with the check from ___ bank". When we finally were taken to the finance manager, Brian T. McCabe, to sign-off on the vehicle, it was brought to our attention that TATE had run a credit report. It seems that it was not relayed to us that TATE has a company policy to run a credit report on ALL customers that use any other form of payment other than their financing. After 4 hours of belaboring the purchase of the vehicle, we were informed that there was a 10-day waiting period before we could accept delivery of our vehicle. Upon further investigation we were not the first to be "duped" into this scam. I am disgusted by the practices of TATE CHEVY and warn all that wish to purchase vehicles from them.
