I dont even know where to start! I cannot say enough good things about Joe at Hare Chevrolet! This experience has been one of the best out of my 25 years of buying vehicles! I traveled over 7 hours from PA....spent a total of 10 minutes inside the dealership (signed papers, and was handed my key) Everything was ready to go when I got there! The detail was amazing, looked like it came right off of the showroom floor! None of this has ever happened to me at any dealership in PA! From the time Joe called me after I showed interest in the vehicle the process was so easy and extremely fast! I am happy to have made a new friend in the process and plan to continue to travel this distance to give them all of our company business as well! I was treated like gold! I recently did a transaction with the Shelbyville hubler. I will never use hubler again after the way they did business. I had a very nice 2015 Malibu with 72,000 miles on it. They came out offered me $6,000 I told them that was not enough. So they took $20 off the payment which he showed me was giving me another $1,680 more off the price of the truck. Did not even see the bottom line until I was signing the papers and I realized all they did was find a different lender at 1 percent better They did not give me anything for my car. And only knocked off probably their markup on the vehicle I purchased. I was so tired of sitting in there dealership for 4 hours waiting on nothing but a royal shafting. Please take your calculator with you to purchase from this dealership. And if it becomes too overwhelming go home and think about it so you don't get shafted the way I did. This should actually be considered a scam and be illegal!

Although there were a few “hiccups” along the way, he stuck with us got us the answers we needed very quickly. We were on a time constraint and he was very sensitive to that. Tyler went above and beyond to make our purchasing experience a very good one.

I agree with all negative reviews here.This dealership sent me a letter stating that I won a prize and I dont have to buy any car from them in order to claim my prize. After driving 2 hours to this dealership and manager told me that they ran out of prizes and waiting for Fedex to deliver the prize. I looked at few cars and asked them about price. They lied about prices. None of their prices matched prices their website. Most of their cars are marked way more than KBB value. Manager was very rude on phone.Glad i didnt buy anything from these people.Rip off. Buyers beware.

Hello, all! If you're reading these reviews, I bet you're probably in the market for a new vehicle. Well, I'm not here to tell you if Gates is the place for your new purchase, but I am quite prepared to say you should never try to get a vehicle serviced at this dealership! I came to Gate and attempted to have my low-mileage, under-warranty vehicle diagnosed for a knocking sound. After a 2.5 hour wait (was told 1 hour, and watched another customer enter, get service, a loaner, and leave before me) a serviceman approached me and outright refused to diagnose the issue, stating their refusal was due to 'snow on the ground', and that I should come back when it's nicer outside. Seriously! As soon as I left their service center and hit the road at 20mph, the knocking was CLEARLY audible! After calling the service center to set a date and time *they* find appropriate, and not being given one, I requested to speak to the floor manager. The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, but said he could not arrange a diagnostic until the following week, which I found unacceptable. I'm sure their salesman are quite genial and the deals superb, but I would suggest staying away from their service center: they seem selective about who they want to serve and who they do not.
