Scott McKee was extremely helpful with scheduling the required transmission inspection and I was very satisfied with the services performed. I have the option of choosing a Chevy Dealership must closer to home, or driving an extra 20 miles to Edwards Chevrolet Downtown. I choose to drive the extra miles because I trust Scott to always treat me fair, and take good care of my vehicles.

I haven't done business with a car dealership in over (30) years because of the hassle you had to go through just to get the bottom line price on a vehicle. This time it was very different to my surprise.
I seen on a web site a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country that Bill Jackson had on their lot in Troy Al.
I made a call about the van and asked for a cash walking out the door price.
The price and deal was made over the phone to my surprise without any going back and forth.
My wife and I drove (130) miles to the dealership the next day and the van was already sitting out front.
The salesman that help us and went over all the feature with my wife and I was salesman Mr. Sam Johnson. He was very helpful and patient with us both.
Mr.Jamie Myrick the Finance Manager was also very helpful in going through with us and explaining all the paper work.
We decided to purchase an extended warranty which Mr Myrick took time to go over the different options that were available to us. He was most helpful in this endeavor.
Before we left Mr Johnson seen to it that their people detailed the van and as an added Bonus the dealership gave us a full tank of gas.
I know in any business you will come across people that you are unable to please. But not this time.
Again I must say this was the best experience at a dealership I have ever had in the over (50) years of buying and trading vehicles,

This can only be explained at the best car deal I have ever been a part of. These guys went to lengths that no dealer from Birmingham to Tennessee would even consider. I looked at trucks at dealerships with the biggest names and truck volumes in North Alabama, but none of them could see customer over profit. I came into this deal with some serious budget constraints that frankly would be a nightmare for any dealership. These guys put some car dealing skills coupled with a level of customer service I have never seen, and made a great deal for me and the young couple that was able to buy my trade in. Everybody got an awesome deal, Champion made two very satisfied customers, and life is great. Sheldon (Sales Manager) is a master at the keyboard, Terry and Chad did a fantastic job finding the truck I needed and keeping the deal going, and Dan (Finance) got me to the payment I needed and made the dreaded "paper process" quick and painless. Mr. Beck can be very proud of his team and I can't thank these guys enough.

Could not get my Cadillac checked two days. Running hot. - Medford
Had to rent a car. Bring the car home and fix myself. It was very inconvenient Had to drive another 200 miles the next day,Friday. Will just call for truck to haul my vehicle home any more and not expect good service. Glad I can do thing myself and try to more in the future. This after two days of being told they would check the car in a little while or by lunch or before they close or soon the techncains where all in the Fram and body shop, etc. I live 60 miles away and had to drive a two hundred the next day to another town. Even the next day, Friday evening still not even checked to see what was wrong . When I got it to my shop and found out the problem in 15 minutes and fixed in 30 minutes once got the part. The scheduler ,Michael was super nice and got me a discount on rental car Thursday evening at 5:50PM . Spoke with the service manager at noon on Thursday and he said would get me a car. Paid $150. For thee days car rental $172 for hauling my Cadillac 60 miles on Saturday and much inconvenience. I was asked if I had been to the dealership before when I first got there Thursday morning. I have been to plenty of GM dealerships for buying and service in the past but no more except for Crest Cadillac in Hoover AL. were I have gotten first class service. Just checked bank account withdrawals and the rental car was a total of $237. I thought I was getting a discount. Folded again. I will try not to depend on a GM dealership again. Just call a tow truck to get me home with my vehicle. Actually my daughter went and got the car diagnosed the problem and had it hauled home and did the main fixing of the vehicle. I just helped her finish the repair once I got off work. I glad I have someone who cares.
In talking people in the community I maybe understand why they give this kind of service. They have stated that the dealership only wants to do service on vehicles they have sold.

I took my car in for service. I had an appointment set up a month in advance. I dropped my car off at 9am. I had to wait an hour and a half to get a ride home. Then at 6pm I decided to call them. All service employees had gone home and no one called me. I was told someone would call me in the morning.
I will not be taking my car back to this dealership.

From the minute you pull in and park you are greeted with a smile. This is the second vehicle we have purchased within the past year. Hope was our Saleswoman (both times) - she is outstanding, no pressure, very knowledgeable and helpful. Chris was also great to work with - dealing with warranty and protection packages. Chris worked for a few days to get us the price we said we needed - which is not something that I can say about other dealerships we have worked with. The internet gurus said be happy with a particular price- Chris took his time and was able to get even lower. WE have dealt with their service department as well - outstanding and they take the extra time to make sure you are happy. I would highly recommend Southern!!

Needed a fuel sending unit replaced in my 87 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe and also the belts were making a little noise on startup. This is a very clean car with 60xxx original miles. They replaced the fuel sending unit and told me I needed a new power steering pump, I picked the car up and within 2 days, the sending unit stopped working again. I took it back to them, they confirmed it was the sending unit and initially told me I would have to pay for the labor of putting a new one in again. I told them I wasn't going to do that and would just go somewhere else. The service manager Josh said he would see what he could do. Called me back the next day and said they would take care of it. A few days later, I went and picked the car back up. Once I got it home, I noticed the trunk key was missing. I called Josh back to let him know and he said he would look for it. I also took the car to a different shop (non dealer) to have the belts seen about. This shop said the power steering pump was fine, it was just the belts that needed adjusting. It's been about a month now and the belts are quiet and I still, after repeated calls, do not have my trunk key. The dealership will not take responsibility for losing my key. Never do business with these folks.

Truck purchase - Truckman
I purchased a new set of tires from Tuscaloosa Chevrolet for my truck. I didn’t have my tires a year when I traded my truck in for a new truck. I demand that the tires be put on my new truck. They said that they couldn’t do that. Guess I am out $1500. I have bought 2 vehicles from there but will not buy another vehicle from them again. I am very pissed off that they kept my tires. Go to Demopolis at Windham Motor Company to get better service from the sales department. Tuscaloosa Chevrolet took my keys to my other truck and hid them from me just to make me purchase a truck I am not happy with.

I am SO pissed. Last time had oil change at Chevrolet of Gadsden store, it was $79. A little pricey but I wanted my truck really checked out because the powertrain warranty was almost out and I had bought the truck the previous March. Went back today because they were really good last time and I knew some of the folks who worked there from my days working at different Chevy dealers for nearly 20 years.
This store has changed owners again and I didn’t realize it would be so different. Not a familiar face in sight, ok that’s fine.
The service adviser was a little over the top making gushy compliments and upselling left and right, but whatever dude I know that’s your job. Just get the oil change done and we will be ok.
Now this “Best” oil change was supposed to be 76.95 plus tax (I assumed it would include labor and parts like EVERY other place on the planet - that was MY mistake). Well they added on $35 air filter that was okayed by me.
BUT, $44.04 labor, $5.85 for “service materials” (what is that??) + $38.99 for COURTESY multi point inspection and a bunch of other charges that make NO sense. Ok let me pause right here and say that I went to public school and the last time I checked Miriam Webster the word “courtesy” means free of charge - not FEE for charge = $38.99. Hang on and I will google it to be sure - yep - Google says courtesy means “supplied FREE of charge to people who are ALREADY paying for another service”.
$174.02 to change my oil and rotate the tires.
They tried to tell me that my truck needs the coolant system flushed for another $275 plus labor and taxes because the truck is 5 years old.
Dude the truck doesn’t even have 20,000 miles!!!! Argh!! I will never go back there again. Way overpriced. For that cost they should have done a full wash and detail too! Bottom of the ticket says I may receive a survey. Please God let me get one!!!

CALLED TO TELL THE DEALERSHIP THAT THE CAR THEY SOLD ME JUST OVER A YEAR TODAY THAT THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT THEY SAID IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. ALSO HAD AN ATTITUDE ABOUT IT SHOULD HAVE KNOWN CAR WAS CRAP THEY RUSHED ME INTO A DEAL AND NEVER EVEN GOT MY FREE TINTS I WILL BE FILING A LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM OR MR CHUCK HIMSELF CAR DIDNT EVE HAVE 100K MILES ON IT YET.
