My 2009 Chev. - Othermonkey
My 2009 Chev. Malibu’s starter failed leaving me stranded. Once the vehicle was delivered to M.K. Smith Chev. the Service Dept.had closed for the day Floor manager Havier Marquez was extremely helpful in arranging for the car to be serviced in the morning and ended up giving me a ride home when the dealership closed for the day and no other alternative was available. The following morning Jennifer in the Service Dept. phoned me to discuss the issue. The starter was replaced, the dealership’s shuttle driver picked me up at my home and I was able to pick the car up and be on my way promptly. Everyone went well above the call of duty in taking care of this situation..

First time an oil change & tire rotation was completed in under two hours. I actually left the car for the day, (based on past experience) and was pleasantly surprised to get the call. I dropped the car off at 8am, no one in the service entrance but, a very nice man walking through greeted me and then let them know I was there. I think he was a mechanic or eng./maintenance. Donnell was great! This visit was a huge improvement from the past all the way around. I also had a great experience as usual with Max in the parts department.

The dealer ship is very good. The service department is good but communication is poor. Numerous times when I’ve called and made an appointment to get my truck serviced I told them that I would wait there while my truck is getting worked on. Each time when I get there they are surprised I’m waiting for it. You would think that they would have put a note with my appointment about waiting. One time I needed to leave my truck in the shop for a couple of days to get repairs done and asked for a loaner vehicle which they had. When my truck was done I returned the loaner car, only it wasn’t a loaner, I had to pay $60.00 for using it. It would have been nice if they would have told me in advance. Very disappointing as far as communication goes
