I purchased a Forester in 2019. There were numerous problems with customer service during that encounter. The vehicle was a custom order and I paid cash. In short, the vehicle was not ready and I was charged incorrect sales tax. I had driven 100 miles to pick it up. It took 6 hours to correct these things. I was promised restitution for the inconvenience but management fell through and ignored me. Just recently, I was given the attention this matter deserved. The general manager went out of his way to apologize and admit the errors should not have happened. He made sure that the past, unfulfilled promise was met. Thank you. I appreciate the integrity to make things right. I think Schomp is working hard to improve CS from 2019..
ps: my Forester is still running strong, I'm pretty hard on vehicles. I frequently drive county roads in the mountains.
The salesperson I worked with is no longer there.
