I knew that I wanted another Hyundai Tuscon so I did some research online for dealer stock. I found the model I like and emailed the dealership. I was contacted within 10 minutes via email. I had some correspondence with a salesman, told him I would be in the following day. I made an appointment time with him, He said he would have the car ready. When I arrived, the car was upfront running and heating up for me. The whole experience was amazing! My salesman was extremely thorough and answered EVERY question I had. The whole team there was very attentive. Previously I had a very bad experience at another Hyundai dealership in the NY area. But I love the Tuscon and really wanted another one. Danbury Hyundai righted all that went wrong at the other place. I will HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car!

I went to Lia Hyundai of Enfield and met with Lisa. She was very friendly and professional and was not pushy at all. She made the experience very easy. This was my first time buying a car in 10+yrs and was hard to part with my old car but Lisa made the overall experience very easy to transition. Do not visit this dealership. These are the people that give car dealers a bad reputation. I went in purchase a "Balise certified, accident free" vehicle. I had never purchased a vehicle from a dealership before. I negotiated a purchase price with financing and a $5000 down payment.
At signing the numbers didn't seem to reflect the price. The sales manager was called in an on a separate piece of paper 'went over the numbers"can.
Essentially he flim flammed me out of the down payment. I will be contacting the state attorney general office. They wanted me out of there so fast before I could come to my senses that they took took the plates off my trade in, put them on the new car and said all the paper work was in the envelope. I drove home not knowing that the car was NOT LEGALLY REGISTERED. Days later I get a call from the sales woman asking how I was going to register the car. Apparently I had been driving around for almost a week in an unregistered car. In addition they only gave me one proximity key. When I asked about the second key (all cars have two keys) David Walton the sales manager desmissally said "go online and buy one for $30. . These proximity keys are $300! They had my money, now they just wanted me gone. I was having snow tires put on at the time and the shop showed me that there was repaired damage to the right front end and one of the rear struts was busted. Apparently their Balise certified means only that the vehicle can be driven off their lot. OK, my bad for letting myself get taken. These people WILL CHEAT YOU if they can. BEWARE!

The salesman Peter Christopher was a little pushy and said discount certificates would be ending that day. We had requested roof cross rails and he avoided the issue until pushed, then said they would be included with the purchase and discount. He said to show my DD214 for a veterains discount, then he said it was included in the discount he had already had given. When we picked up the car the wrong cross rails had been instaled. We told Peter at that time they were wrong but he avoided the issue. We checked on line and found one type with a sun roof and a second type for no sun roof. I drove into the lot and inspected roof rails installed on other cars. Another sales man came out so I told him about the problem, he had Petrer come out to see me. He again brushed me off and said he would check with the sales manager. After two weeks he had not called us with an answer. We checked with the parts department and they corrected the error. (GREAT PARTS DEPARTMENS).
