Last Thursday my door locks stopped working. I called the service manager and said I would be there in ten minutes. He met me and determined the passenger door switch needed to be replaced. I made an appointment for the following week. On Tuesday I stopped by and told him I could be there Wednesday.
When I arrived mid day Wednesday 'within minutes he too my vehicle and gave me a loaner.'
In a couple of hours I received a phone call stating my car was ready.
Came back to pick it and it had been washed.
They know how to take care of their customers.

Had a great buying experience with Chris Keefe! He was very knowledgeable, accommodating and didn't make us feel pressured at all. Has a way of expressing complicated things in a very basic way for the customer to understand. Sold us a used Honda Pilot with low mileage at a good price. Chris also had the car detailed again and had the brakes rotors turned since there was a slight vibration on them.
I was also was very pleased with the financing dept. (Justin) and how they were very friendly.

I was a bit skeptical as I have not had the best luck when buying cars but he was thorough and explained the process step by step. Before I left that day I was driving in my new car. Upon entering we were greeted warmly. Tim Costello came over and things just got better. The one thing that was non-negotiable for me was color. They did not have it. Tim and the crew went the extra mile, got the color and had me on my way in 3 days. I owned an Elantra previously to getting this one so I knew the car would be great. I was really grateful for Tim and everyone (Frank and Habib) at Meriden Hyundai for making my experience of buying a new car so great. I recommend this establishment highly.

Decetfull flim flam artists. - Flim Flammed
Do not visit this dealership. These are the people that give car dealers a bad reputation. I went in purchase a "Balise certified, accident free" vehicle. I had never purchased a vehicle from a dealership before. I negotiated a purchase price with financing and a $5000 down payment.
At signing the numbers didn't seem to reflect the price. The sales manager was called in an on a separate piece of paper 'went over the numbers"can.
Essentially he flim flammed me out of the down payment. I will be contacting the state attorney general office. They wanted me out of there so fast before I could come to my senses that they took took the plates off my trade in, put them on the new car and said all the paper work was in the envelope. I drove home not knowing that the car was NOT LEGALLY REGISTERED. Days later I get a call from the sales woman asking how I was going to register the car. Apparently I had been driving around for almost a week in an unregistered car. In addition they only gave me one proximity key. When I asked about the second key (all cars have two keys) David Walton the sales manager desmissally said "go online and buy one for $30. . These proximity keys are $300! They had my money, now they just wanted me gone. I was having snow tires put on at the time and the shop showed me that there was repaired damage to the right front end and one of the rear struts was busted. Apparently their Balise certified means only that the vehicle can be driven off their lot. OK, my bad for letting myself get taken. These people WILL CHEAT YOU if they can. BEWARE!

Old Saybrook Hyundai has a great team who seem to really care about the customer, not being pushy and only sales orientated. The entire process was painless and I'm glad I was about to walk out with a Hyundai Accent. Highly recommend!
