Outstanding Experience with Kevin Preston at Freedom CDJR of Lexington! Last week I purchased a new 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from Freedom CDJR of Lexington, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize the outstanding experience I had with Kevin Preston and the entire team. Living in Tennessee, I had plenty of dealerships much closer to home, but I was willing to travel to Kentucky for the right vehicle, the right deal, and, most importantly, people I could trust. I'm happy to say the trip was absolutely worth it! From the beginning, Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely committed to earning my business. We worked through all the details of the purchase, including my trade-in, financing arrangements, and final pricing. Kevin took the time to address my questions, work through my concerns, and make sure I was comfortable with everything before making the trip. I also want to recognize Cory, a newer member of the sales team, who assisted Kevin throughout the process. Cory was friendly, helpful, and eager to make sure everything went smoothly. It's great to see a newer sales associate already demonstrating such a strong commitment to customer service. Another special thank-you goes to Dudley in the finance department. He was absolutely fantastic to work with! The financing and paperwork process was quick, efficient, and refreshingly straightforward. What I appreciated most was that Dudley didn't resort to the high-pressure sales tactics or aggressive attempts to sell additional warranties and upgrades that you so often hear about at dealerships. He explained everything clearly, respected my decisions, and made the entire process comfortable and hassle-free. That's exactly how the finance experience should be! What stood out to me about this dealership was the overall atmosphere. Everyone I worked with was professional, courteous, and genuinely interested in making sure I had a positive buying experience. I never felt like I was just another sale. Buying a vehicle from out of state can sometimes be complicated, but Kevin, Cory, and Dudley worked together to make the entire experience a great one. Their teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction made the drive from Tennessee worthwhile. I absolutely love my new Rubicon, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase it from Freedom CDJR of Lexington! Came in unsure of what exactly we were looking for, but Keishon helped us look through every option that he thought we could be interested in and was more than happy to let us test drive multiple vehicles to help us find what we want. None of the usual pushy salesmen pitches and constant trying to sell you. He let us experience the vehicles the way we wanted until we found something we loved. Will definitely be back in the future for future vehicles!

The sales man was great to work with. A little surprised that I purchased a brand new new truck that was still fairly dirty I still have not gotten the windshield clean on the inside. There are stickers on the back window that don’t want to come off very easily. The bed of the truck has green moss in it. Also did not care for the pushy behavior of the finance guy trying to get me to purchase extra warranty. I would like to think If I am purchasing a brand new truck it shouldn’t need extra warranty unless you don’t have faith in the product you are selling. Again I would like to state that the salesman was the best part of the experience I hope this does not reflect poorly on him.

I was greeted at the lot by Mike. He went above and beyond with the finance manager to help me trade in my Jeep Wrangler that was not a good drive for my chronic neck and back issues and helped me get into a Jeep Cherokee. I have purchased 5 vehicles from the Winchester Rod Hatfields. I wish I could say good things about the dealership in Lexington. They did not want to help me at all. I would definitely recommend Mike at Rod Hatfield in Winchester and will only do business there in the future.

I ran into a trade in issue after finalizing a deal. The team here has been great to work with finding a solution that was unconventional but really helped me much more than it helped them. They did the right thing even when they did not have to which I greatly appreciate. Even though my original deal was rolled back(by my request) I will certainly work with them again in the near future.

On an early Thursday morning drive through Kentucky, I had an engine warning indicator light come on, along with restricted engine performance (fail safe). I immediately located the nearest dealership, which happened to be Mann, and made the call no traveler wants to make. They asked if I needed assistance getting my truck to the dealership and promised to do their very best to diagnose the problem as soon as possible. I arrive at the dealership between 0830 and 0900 and by 1000, I knew the issue and it didn't look great for continuing my journey any time soon. The Team at Mann made miracles happen over the next 24 hours, finding the required part locally, going to pick it up and completing more than 8 eight hours of repair work all by the next morning. Not only did the team get the truck fixed and ready to go, but they assisted in hotel selection, finding alternative transportation, and even made some suggestions on where to grab dinner that night. Most of all, the team was just very nice and kind to a stressed out traveler. Just wish they were closer to my home in Indiana, as they would be my new dealership.

The only reason this review is 4 stars out of 5 is because I'm actually still in the midst of the buying process. THREE TIMES now, I've found a car I've really wanted to explore purchasing further, only to hear it was sold at another dealership before I could get to the lot - in one case I found this out AFTER getting there.

They have helped make sure things were repaired and covered each time. When they weren't able to match a price for something, there were no high pressure tactics.
