Test drive fusion - Grand Mom
Stopped with my sister to schedule service on her truck. Decide to test drive a 2019 fusion. Car was nice but I really wanted to test drive the Mazda6 as well. Jon was great, let us drive the car, estimated monthly payments and recommended a sales person at Morries Mazda. Even texted me later to see how things were going. Wonderful experience even if I didn't get the fusion.

I purchased a used 2015 F-150 from Owatonna Motor Company in July of 2018. The day I purchased it I noticed the fuel gauge wasn't working properly so before I took ownership they swapped the part out for a new one. My factory warrant expired about a week after purchase and less then a week after it expired my check engine light kicked on. I took the truck in and found out it was another fuel system problem and would cost over $900 to fix. I have attempted on numerous occasions to contact my salesman, the sales manager, and the GM to see if they could help me out with this problem. I figure since the truck already had a fuel system issue and the factory warranty had just expired it shouldn't be to much to ask for the dealer to stand behind their product. Out of all of the messages I have left not once have I got a phone call back. The only time I can get a hold of Dave (salesman) is when I call and ask to talk to him about a car sale. So far the excuses I have got are the sales manager is always on a test drive and the GM is moving the entire inventory to Minneapolis but Dave always promises they'll be sure to call me in the next day or two. This has been going on for two months. It's one thing not to want to fix the truck it's an entire other level of poor service when you give a customer the run around or just ignore them. I will never buy another car from this dealership and I would recommend you look somewhere else for your next purchase if you value good customer service after your purchase. I guess I should have caught on to their approach to customer service when they didn't even give me a full tank of gas after I bought the truck!
Disappointing Repair Service - MikeG
A check engine light along with a dramatic drop in power (code P0299 low boost and code P0016 cam timing) led me to bring my F150 to the Service Department. After a week to get an appointment and two days diagnosing the problem, I was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. The check engine light? I was told there wasn’t one. (There was when I parked it in their bay). The power reduction? Their tech couldn’t duplicate the problem. (I had been limping on it all week). I was told to bring it in next time the check engine light came on, and oh by the way, that’ll be $150 please. When I asked what I was paying for she asked if I was trying to get out of paying! CThe engine light came on the next day and had a hard time getting to highway speed. Again. Bring it back? No thanks.

After having purchased 6, yes 6 brand new vehicles from this dealership in the past 8 years, I have to say that I will not be coming back here ever again! I have been having trouble with my vehicle since day one and I have had it in the shop for this problem at least three times. Every time they tell me that they have fixed it and every time it does the same thing. I call into the service department 7 days ago and spoke with a service manager who told me that he would get back to me right away. I have yet to hear from him and this isn't the first time that I have been treated poorly! I am all done with you and very possibly done with Ford! Matt Warner is an awesome sales person and has never done us wrong but I cannot say the same for their service department!
Worst Customer Service I have ever received - disappointed
Had to have my brand new Nissan Murano towed to Duluth because Krenzen said do not drive it, and at 1200 miles they refused to honor the warranty. They said I hit something (although I did not) because a small plastic part under my car was scratched. I ask if it was possible that I did not hit something and it was a defective part. They said yes it's possible but we can not turn this in to Nissan for the warranty. They charged me 370.00 dollars for the small part. My car was filthy when I picked it up and smelled like smoke. Never treated so poorly by a service department. Later they told me I'm not a customer because I did not buy my car there. They are correct, I WILL NEVER be a customer there again.
purchased used vehicle - care
less than 6 months after purchasing a $11k vehicle at Lincoln Ford Inver Grove it stopped running. tore apart engine taking off manifold removed plugs-pins unscrewed/lifted valve cover and found sand and oil gunk in my rear cylinders. no doubt this vehicle was never serviced and more than likely overheated a few times before my purchase. STAY AWAY from this place and the State should close this place down.
customer service not a priority - never again
We recently purchased a used vehicle from R. C. Bliss Ford in Faribault MN. They state upfront that they do not negotiate on price. In buying the car because they are firm on price I had asked the sales manager, Steve Grant, if they would then fix some of the paint chips and small dents in the car, he agreed. I then proceeded to walk around the car pointing out some of those issues. I also stated that when they were doing this that they too look it over because I could not see them all and while doing the work they might see other areas that needed attention or touchup.
When we picked up the car I checked the areas that were obvious on my first visit and they were acceptable so we finished payment and left with the car. When we got home and the car was parked in the garage I happened to notice another small ding and reached out to Steve Grant at R. C. Bliss.
I have since been told that they can fix the ding but I will have to pay for it. I stated that when we negotiated the repairs to the paint they were to take care of it then. He said no that was not the deal. They were only to do what I had pointed out. I told Steve that I had specifically said they should look it over and take care of any issues. He then proceeded to accuse us of putting the ding in the car.
At this point I wish I had been more thorough when looking over the car, My mistake was assuming they would be straight shooters and if they too saw an issue would have taken care of it. At the very least I would have thought that once a concern was found they would have taken care of it. This is one place you will want to make sure everything you ask for is in writing. Don’t let them rush you through a sale. Don’t take anything for granted because in the end customer satisfaction is not their priority, only another sale is important to them…..or better yet buy somewhere else.
