We purchased a Nissan from him after my truck was totaled around a year or two ago. A few months after we bought the Nissan one of the rear control arms broke and the wheel cambered out. I had to park the vehicle at my job for 5 months until I could figure out what to do. All this with 70000 miles on it. We took it to a few shops and we were told that the rust damage under the vehicle was so extensive that it was going to cost upwards of 8 to 10 thousand to fix and no one wants to work on it! So now we’re stuck with a vehicle with 72000 miles on it now that we can’t drive! I’m in talks with the loan company now to see if we can get out of it but I’ve never heard of a dealership selling a vehicle with 70000 miles that’s so rusted that it turns into a rusted lemon within 2000 miles. We were in a vulnerable situation being my wife was pregnant and we needed a family vehicle fast. I get it, they needed to get rid of this vehicle and they had a vulnerable young couple in that needed something fast. It’s a shame that we had to be taken advantage of but we learned our lesson. I tried talking to the dealership when it initially happened but I got blown off and basically told it’s not their problem. I hope this is help for other people to please look after any vehicles you buy from this salesmen or this dealership. Luckily I have documentation of all of this so hopefully we can get out of this nightmare and move on to someone who actually can be trusted!

I recently bought a pre owned Toyota 4Runner limited,I dealt with Tim(senior sales rep)experience was good until sales went through.i was promised a full tank for the car,a detailed done on the car of which I had pointed out stains and trash in between seats and I also complained about vibrations in the steering wheel when over 60mph and vibration when brakes are pushed on. 1.i got the full tank after I paid all cash for the car 2.detailing wasn’t done 3.vibrations on the steering wheel and brakes wasn’t taken care of After the sales ,I reached out to them (Tim & his manager) to point out the things I was promised and his manager said I got a good deal and he hasn’t seen a car that was in such a good condition so I got a good deal so basically telling me to go xxxx my self since they already got their cash and sales was done I am not one to write bad reviews but trust me ,I wouldn’t recommend to anyone ,they are not trustworthy.I trust Tim(senior salesperson) and he failed me miserably I had to pay out of pocket to change both front and rear rotors and brake pads and balancing ,had to change engine oil,had to fill coolant because it was almost dry

Oh what a great place NOT to buy a car…. Don’t every think of making a financial deal with Randy Marion used cars. Looked at cars Earlier this week, went back today to finalize the car purchase. I directly as the sales person how do I pay you/dealership…. Direct deposit, bank check, etc. Sales person told me “No, personal check or cash was acceptable”. Strange I must say. I told him I would not be paying cash and needed the bank routing numbers. Again he said no check would do. Given a pass to test drive the car until 6:00pm I returned around 4:00pm. Several people greeted me wanting wanting to know where I had been? My car I was buying had been sold to someone else and I was SOL. MUST say what a professional dealership do not to step foot in RANDY MARION Save a Lot, Hickory NC.

There were a few minor issues with the truck that didn't show in their pictures and of course none of it was mentioned prior to my 2 hour drive. The dealer refused to deliver the truck to me unless they were paid in full prior and wanted me to place a $1k non-refundable deposit. However, I purchased the truck anyway and I have been trying to get information from the salesman since but he has quit answering my messages. All I can tell you is be 100% before you hand them the money. 🤷‍♂️🙄

The person who handles paperwork apparently left the office without telling anyone, and since then no one responds to emails or phone calls. Completely unprofessional, useless, and thankless service. I would strongly caution others before doing business here. I am still driving with expired Temporary Plates, No License Plates still.

My daughter Cori and I started the car buying process a week or so ago. She lives and works as a nurse in Greenville, NC, mom and I here in Wilmington, so to say it was a daunting task is wording it lightly…numerous online searches, multiple vehicles, work schedules, etc. We saw a nice 4Runner with Tripp Stevenson near the beginning of the “search for the one”. After looking at many 4Runners all over the place we decided that BlueWater’s 4Runner was the one. Absolutely best price, trade-in value, condition, and professional no pressure expertise! The Sales will go out of their way to make the purchase happen; but the service department is totally opposite. After the sale I was "ghosted" with no return calls; this was reported directly to David "Sport" Durst who advised me to speak with him in the future; unfortunately Brian Yates, service department, told me that he could not reach Mr. Durst. My 2024 Kona is now losing power and coming to a complete stop while driving after about 6000 miles. This has happened 4 times now in the middle of traffic.Even though I submitted a video of the last event no repair because the master mechanic could not "reduplicate" the issue...no documentation of checking other parts of the vehicle..nothing This "accident ready to happen" was returned to me as is...Now I have to return it again and there is NO available loaner...AND Mr. Durst CANNOT be reached....According to an attorney, if I drive this vehicle as is knowing there are issues, I will be held responsible if there is an accident...it has started back stalling and losing power while driving after filling it with gas and even after Brian Nelson filled the tank with gas at the dealership....

It saddens me to have to write this because I was treated well the last time I was there. The service department has changed in that little bit of time I took my vehicle in for a oil change and tire rotation only to find out later that the tire rotation was not done. But I was never told this the only way I found out was I took a look at my paperwork work only to see that they wrote that the rotation was not done because they didn't have the wheel lock key. Ok I didn't have the key in the cup holder however I was at the dealership they could have just asked for it but they chose to skip the service.… wrong wrong wrong. What if one of the tires were defected dangerous on their part I called to speak to a manager and he did return my call but we missed each other I called back the next day and left a message for him never got a call back. So I called the service department back and not in these exact words but I was told I got what I paid for. But that's not what I made the service for I don't think I'll be using them anymore I can't trust them. It's just amazing how they will ring your phone off the hook begging you to come in and then treat you like garbage all I will say is if you go here walk around your vehicle going in and walk around when it comes out check your paperwork before you leave
