I've been coming here for the past 15 years for all my Acura needs, and the service continues be excellent as day 1. Bobby, Kayne and their team are true World-Class Service.. There are many dealerships; but only 1 Goodson Acura of Dallas !!

Yesterday my mother, who is in her 70s, took her car to the dealership to get its annual inspection for her registration. After she left the dealership, she went to the tax office, waited in line, and finally was able to present her paperwork for registration - only to find out that she could not do so because her car had FAILED it’s annual inspection because of a FACTORY RECALL. So not only did the dealership fail to even mention that her car failed inspection before they sent her on her way, they didn’t bother to address the factory recall in the slightest. She has since called the dealership, but both the manager and technician were conveniently not at their desks or able to return calls to her. I find this situation maddening on so many levels. She will have to use another dealership to take care of the recall (which maybe was their goal in the first place). This is my first negative review I’ve ever felt compelled to leave, but this dealership has made zero effort for a senior citizen.

2020 RDX with known brake issues without a fix. - TD
Sterling Acura of Austin is still selling the 2020 RDX with a known brake issue. After buying the SUV I noticed that brakes are squeaking when you first start driving. On a brand new 2020 vehicle that shouldn't be the case, but I know things can happen. I contacted the service department and was informed by the service manager that this is a known issue and that there isn't a fix for it yet. Now doing some internet research this issue started with the 2019 model and still no fix for this problem. Just surprising that a $40k vehicle would have an issue like this and not have a fix after a year. So if you don't want to drive around in a vehicle with a known issue like this don't buy an RDX. Especially from Sterling since they know this is an issue and don't inform you. This squeaking did not occur during the test drive. The buying process and service was excellent, but shouldn't sell cars with known issues like this.

This place is not professional at all, my son has taken the car several times with them and each time they leave a bad job, they painted the car and less than a year and the paint fell off, I took him to see the problem and the manager He said they couldn't do anything, they took a lot of money from the insurance company so they could put a painting on it that didn't work, they just want the insurance money !!!!

Very upset and disappointed with this manager’s service. He did not honor a previous agreement made during the sale of a vehicle at this dealership. I believe this type of business attitude says a lot about the reputation of the company. When I requested to escalate the issue, he refused to do so.

When I requested an estimate they said they would first have to order a part. They did not give me a followup call. However, when I tried again I got good service. They set my expectations appropriately and explained that without replacing the whole door they could not eliminate a slight gap. However, the service was quick and what I paid seemed very reasonable. I don't even notice the wind noise they said I might have.
