My truck was totaled in an accident and I had not been planning a new(er) vehicle purchase. Due to some recent issues I was also facing credit challenges, a budget crunch, and a downpayment tied up waiting for my insurance company to settle my claim. Honestly, I didn't have much hope for buying a vehicle outside of taking my chances on FaceBook Marketplace. I had decided that if I was going to buy a vehicle I wanted the vehicle with the features and options I had hoped for. I had an 11:15 appointment on 2/28/26, I was immediately greeted by Greg, our salesman, who took the time to understand the issues I was dealing with, and the vehicle I was looking for. Within a few minutes he presented me with multiple options and I was off on a test drive. He listened and the vehicle was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. He then worked very hard to get a deal that would make buying this truck a reality. Now all that may seem very "normal". Greg and James CDJR went above and beyond, not only getting me in the vehicle I wanted, but put dealer plates on so I could take the vehicle home while I waited for the insurance company to issue my settlement. I quite literally, drove away that day with the vehicle I wanted, at a price I could work with, on a payment that made it possible because Greg made it happen regardless of the challenge. Now, my claim is settled and I am enjoying my new vehicle. A few days ago I was sick at my stomach thinking about how I would be able to go forward. Extremely grateful for Greg's ability to listen and move the barriers that could have prevented me from owning this truck.

Louie was phenomenal to work with in buying my new 2024 RAM 2500. I have never had a more pleasant no non-sense experience at any dealership anywhere and I have been to tons of them. This last time I visited more than 15 dealerships and called at least 25. I inquired at more than 40 online and when I finally called Wally’s and Louie answered he proved dealerships still do an honest business and want to sell vehicles. I made my 1 and only offer on the truck based on what I could spend. Louie presented the offer to management and they accepted it. I got an incredible deal and treated with nothing but respect throughout the entire process. Louie even went out of his way to make sure my every request was handled. Made the 6 hour drive from my home there 100% worth it. Even their service guys went out of their way to help me out as I had to tow my other vehicle home on an auto transport behind my new truck and I needed to have my ball flipped over so I could lower it to get a better tow for the 6 hour trip back home. I will be pleased to take my business to Wally’s CDJR when I need my next truck. They were fantastic.

I went to the Lowery Bros. Jeep dealership to check out a new 2018 Wrangler. I was looking for a specific vehicle that was listed on their website as being in stock, but couldn't find it anywhere on their lot. I tried to find a salesperson to help, but had no luck. Even after waiting in the showroom, checking out vehicles, nobody offered to help. I finally got frustrated and left. I have tried to contact them several times through their "contact us" link on the website and have received no response. This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Luckily there are other Jeep dealerships in the area that are more than happy to receive my business.

Dealer service departments are generally not great, but Romano Jeep is by far the worst I've ever dealt with. They are only getting one star because zero is not a choice. I booked my appointment 3 weeks in advance. Between then and the time I brought my vehicle in, a few other things came up that I wanted addressed, since the vehicle is under warranty. I made a detailed list and included it in the night drop envelope. The next morning I got a call from the service advisor Anthony. He was extremely rude and refused to look at anything on the vehicle other than what I had previously mentioned when I booked the appointment. At that point I was tempted to just pick up the car, but one of the issues that had developed was a very noisy driver front wheel bearing. I got Anthony to agree to at least look at that. That was the last phone call or text I received. After that they called or texted my wife, even though my information was both on the night drop envelope and the note I enclosed. When my wife told me my car was done (because they called her, not me) I called Anthony to find out what was done. Besides the maintenance and recalls I requested, he informed me that they replaced the right front bearing. I thought that was odd because I had already diagnosed a failed left bearing. I picked up the vehicle after hours. The first thing I noticed was the hood was left open. Fortunately there is a warning message so I didn't drive away like that. Second the oil life monitor was not reset. I checked the oil and it looks like they did change it, although it's slightly over filled. But the biggest issue, besides Anthony's attitude, was that I got half a block down the road and the left front bearing is still loud! They put 12 miles on the car and they didn't notice the noise was still there! Anything over 20 mph and you can hear it. Complete incompetence. I will never do business here again. Follow up to my above review: I picked up my vehicle from Nye where they not only replaced the very bad left front wheel bearing, but also had to replace the right front bearing again due to improper installation at Romano! Never cleaned the mounting surface on the knuckle and did not torque the axle nut so in under 100 miles it was already loose. Now I'm wondering if they even bothered to do my recalls or if they just checked them off as done.

I recently purchased a new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Gerry made the buying process very easy and outright enjoyable. Gerry is very knowledgeable of the products he sells and he operates his dealership in a professional and courteous manner with no pressure tactics. I was also very pleased with the price he was able to offer me for my trade-in and for the discounts I was able to negotiate on my new Jeep.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVEN PULL INTO THEIR YARD Since purchasing a vehicle on April 30th, 2024 This certified pre owned Jeep compass has been nothing but a nightmare. Completly understand cars with mechanical components develop flaws. However, the people that work here are severely disrespectful , unwilling to reason, and incredibly shady. The vehicle was purchased with 46,226 miles. The engine blew at 46,252 miles. Additionally the car was first traded in to the dealership with 43,821 miles. Meaning, they drove it for 3,000 miles and DEFINITELY were aware of the warped heads. And sold it anyway. They did not even seem surprised when we called back 2 days later to say the engine blew and immediately tried to deflect. We then argued for days to ensure they honored the corporate jeep powertrain warranty. They then tried to put a used engine into the vehicle being discussed, vs a new crate engine from mopar. Paul then patted himself on the back for providing a “free” Rental. 6 days later the engine was swapped. I drove it for 10 minutes and had to bring it back due to faulty installation. The timing belt and tensioner weren’t installed correctly and it wouldn’t be for another few months until I discovered more installation issues from this incompetent service team. They did not install AC lines correctly. So 9,000 miles later the ac lines rubbed through the manifolds , effectively ruining them. Anyone that knows anything cars knows that is a direct result of the engine swap. This place of business should dispense advil at the door for the migraines they cause their customers. What is even worse than everything aforementioned above, is the attitude and arrogance of Paul and James. Mainly Paul. I wish I had recorded some of nasty comments he made towards us. Zero accountability and just disgusting. There are countless reviews online highlighting extremely similar situations. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVEN LOOK HERE. They may refute and delete this comment like they have many others. But please do your own due diligence online and you will see a clear pattern. Paul claims he is too busy to bother himself with his customers. So it is unfathomable how a place like this is even still in business. They are incredibly privileged to exist in an area with little competition. But trust me, the drive to neighboring dealerships will be well WORTH the trip. And the cherry on the sundae, most recently we had the issue with the AC, asked them to look at under warranty. Also briefly mentioned that there was a rattle that they claimed to be the spare tire. Charged $70 to tighten a spare tire. Pulling out of dealership the rattle was still there. I got home, PULLED out the spare tire , noise still there. Honestly after everything before, I really should not have even gone back, that is on me. It is simply the closest dealership. I hope this review saves someone from dealing with this experience. Unfortunately, I asked a coworker to drive me to go get my car back, and I was explaining what happened, and I can’t even make this up, she bought a Durango from Norwich Dodge 4 years ago and THE SAME THING happened to her. Except her car got a used engine and experienced many more years of agony. I have notified Jeep Corporate with documentation and am consulting with a lemon law/civil attorney. It is simply the principle of the matter. Paul is the stereotypical slimy used car salesman and puts on a facade. 4 out of 5 people I talk to feel the same. Yet his delusional mindset makes him think he is gods gift to Norwich.

My car has been in their shop for months. There is zero communication. I have been told over twenty times that I will get my call returned, but it’s never the same day most of the time not even the same week. I have been given every excuse under the sun about the warranty, Chrysler, waiting on parts, employees being out sick….. you name it. I have NEVER got a straight answer. I had collision repairs done at this location previously in Oct which took weeks but at least they were accommodating and kept me in the loop. Not one have the employees at Jeep tried to help me get a loaner or a rental. I have three kids and work two jobs. I had to quit one of my jobs because I had no way to get there. I still do not have a date that I can expect my 2021 Jeep to be ready. I will never return to this location.
