After having my 2010 Chevrolet Traverse for SIX WEEKS, - Mandyda01
After having my 2010 Chevrolet Traverse for SIX WEEKS, paying $1,375, and repeatedly being told my vehicle could not be started or kept running long enough to test-drive, what happened when I finally had it towed home left me questioning my entire experience with this dealership.
Throughout those six weeks, I experienced poor communication, unanswered calls, and dismissive responses when I questioned things that did not make sense. I was also repeatedly reminded that the shop foreman was working on my vehicle for FREE. I NEVER asked for free labor! I have a voicemail explicitly telling Jeff that I did not care what it cost and wanted my vehicle fixed.
Last Friday, I was presented with two additional repair options costing potentially $1,500 or $2,200–$2,500. After discussing it over the weekend, I decided not to spend more money without a clear diagnosis.
I paid my $1,375 bill for a battery, pigtail harness connector, and two programming attempts, then paid another $90 to have my vehicle towed home.
HERE IS WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING!
According to my tow truck driver, dealership personnel told him they had JUST gotten my vehicle started and that he could drive it out of the service bay and onto his truck.
HE DID EXACTLY THAT!
He started it again to unload it at my home. I started it again 30 minutes later and AGAIN the following morning without issues!
After SIX WEEKS of being told my vehicle could not be started or kept running, suddenly it could be driven out of their service bay?
I understand intermittent problems can be unpredictable, but I believe I deserve an explanation!
Customer service was equally disappointing. When I called requesting Keith, Dustin, or Leo, Hunter told me Keith or Dustin had probably already left and made a comment about how it wasn’t as though Leo resided at the dealership.
After retrieving my vehicle, I requested return calls from management and received no response.
When I called about my original parts, Jeff and Sydney informed me that both fuel pump control modules were still underneath my vehicle. I physically checked and discovered one mounted while the other was connected to the wiring harness and left unsecured.
Jeff then asked whether I was going to apologize for questioning where my parts were. Absolutely not! My concerns regarding the handling of my vehicle remained unresolved.
ANOTHER SERIOUS CONCERN: CUSTOMER PRIVACY!
After reviewing my paperwork, I discovered I had been given ANOTHER CUSTOMER’S SERVICE RECEIPT dated May 6, 2026!
It concerned an entirely different vehicle, transmission-related repairs, and a rental vehicle. It contained the customer’s name, email address, telephone numbers, addresses, vehicle descriptions, and VINs.
Although no financial information was included, this personal information should NEVER have been provided to me!
If I received another customer’s information, could my information have been given to someone else?
I have retained my receipts, service records, text messages, voicemails, recorded calls, and the unrelated customer’s paperwork.
After SIX WEEKS, $1,375 in dealership charges, $90 in towing expenses, and being presented with another $1,500–$2,500 in potential repairs, my original issue remains unresolved.
Between the conflicting information, poor communication, unsecured module, and improper disclosure of another customer’s information, I have lost confidence in this dealership.
I expect transparency, accountability, professional treatment, and an explanation of what happened during the six weeks my vehicle was in their possession.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership’s service department
