Zack is amazing - Howard
Zack is amazing at his job. The customer always comes first and he keeps me updated as to the status of my vehicle; not just a "it is ready" phone call. He takes personal pride in making sure all is done to the vehicle to ensure customer satisfaction. Landers McLarty has an invaluable asset in Zack.

Brad Sallis at Stokes Automotive. - PL007
This was my second vehicle purchase with Brad Sallis and Stokes Automotive. Brad may have the title of salesman as his profession, but he is nothing short of a man with complete integrity, honesty, and goes beyond to get his clients exactly what they ask for. He puts his people first, and he is loyal. He treats his clients with respect, and I'm honored to have had him handle my vehicle transactions. Brad is very trustworthy, and has also become a friend. Thank you, Mr. Sallis. Cheers to you my good man.

Internet Sales Manager
Great Experience - Greg
Purchasing a vehicle from Clay County Automotive was by far the best car buying experience that I have had in my 30 years of of buying automobiles. All the employees that we met were extremely friendly, they were helpful, and were easy to work with. The dealership had the RAM 1500 that I wanted on their lot and after working with them over the phone, I traveled two hours in hopes of coming to an agreement on the price - I was not disappointed. I purchased the truck I wanted at a great price. I would highly recommend Clay County Automotive without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
Great - Windyb
Everything was great all but the lady that moves veichel and her husband is a sales man. She stuck her head in while I was singing my paperwork all because I did not buy my Jeep from her husband. That was very uncalled for . We stopped in on Saturday just looking and he happen to walk out, we never talked price's with him only small talk and small talk does not bind me to buy a car from you. He was mad when he seen me come in on Tuesday and start talking to Scott, he was rude to him and Scott never knew until late Monday night we even came in on Saturday so it wasnt his fault he didn't steal a sale from the other guy ( I dont even know his name). But when she stuck her head in while I was doing paper work I almost changed my mind on the whole deal. She was very disrespectful to a buying customer! Other than those two everything was great.
They are not worried about selling used cars - Jeep789
They kept changing their mind on the deal - over and over until we just left without a vehicle. I was approved and everything so apparently they are not worried about selling a car.
8-hour wait in the lobby for a 2-hour job not yet done. - CSUTTON8848
My appt was at 10. I got there at 9:30 after a 1.30-hour drive from home. No food all day. Left shop around 6:00 for drive back home and word that I must return as job wasn't finished.
Terrific purchasing experience! - Shelia2019
We live in north Georgia and were in town for the arrival of our grandchild so purchasing a vehicle was not really in our plans. Truly, we were just shopping, comparing vehicles (actually we were nearly set on purchasing an F-150). My husband and I had visited other dealerships in Ozark and Dothan, leaving all of them disappointed as none of them had the inventory that we were interested in.
Dothan Chrysler Dodge was our last stop.
The first person to greet us was Jason Reilly and he saved the day, no exaggeration. We already owned a Dodge Longhorn Dually but needed to downsize to accommodate a recent move and were looking for a specific truck. Jason not only showed us exactly what we were searching for, he had the knowledge to answer all of our questions without skipping a beat. We left (which goes against the cardinal rules of selling) told Jason we were going to the Ford dealership to compare the F-150, and returned in less than an hour.
The energy that Jason and your dealership exude sold us on the Dodge. We’ve already owned both a Ford and a Dodge, so either was fine with us...truly, Jason sealed the deal. He and your dealership, have excellent energy. Exactly what we needed and were looking for!
Every person we dealt with and were introduced to, was top notch. Interestingly enough, the air conditioning in the dealership was broken that day. The Clifton Johnson and Bill Cox expedited the paperwork so efficiently, we were barely uncomfortable. I’m sure at another dealership, we would’ve walked out.
I asked for an orientation on the truck after our purchase and Brad Philpot did an outstanding job.
The bottom line? My husband and I have purchased many vehicles over the years and we’re not easily impressed. Your dealership and staff blew us away.

Outstanding Quality Service - Carguru2019
I have purchased vehicles at other dealerships before. Tallassee Automotive especially, Antonio and Dan made sure I was taken care of. Up to date constantly with my car. They really make sure you are taken care of to the max. They don't treat you like just another wallet walking through the door. I would highly recommend anyone buy a vehicle here. They are very nice, professional, and treat you like family.
Wonderful - David 2266
A 1 Salesman honest and effiecnt. Financing was easy to get. All associates were professional honest and just pleasant to be around, helpful and on time
Misleading Used Car Sales - Bobs screen
I drove 3 hours to buy a 2015 jeep renegade. It was represented as Q-certified. I could see problems that were not addressed, but I bought the car anyway because it was equipped the way I wanted.
The front tires were bald with the steel belts exposed on the outside edge and the drivers front wheel trim was glued on rather than properly attached with fasteners. It was represented as accident free, but is not.
Jonathan Harris the manager promised to mail me the second key that he didn't have handy. That has never happened. I cannot get ahold of him by phone and he will not return my calls. Nobody will reply to my email either.
In my opinion, they misrepresent their inventory and will not honor their promises. In addition, their Q-certification is worthless.
Go Anywhere Else For A Used Car - JAT
Couple of previous reviews I couldn't say enough good things, but it looks like the Used Car Manager was out when they taught customer service and loyalty. Jimmy could care less about customers...even when they have bought multiple cars and until Mr. Beck trains or fires him he does what he wants. At least I know that is one less dealer I would recommend to anyone.
You need to be on top of your game, purchasing a vehicle... - It's shamefull
Yes Jason is a good man in my opinion..But the managers are like most greedy...Better pay attention when you go to sign your papers.make sure they give you the quoted price, what they say on the internet they use to get you in and then switch it and try to sneak it by you...Every body is trying to rob the older people nowadays..And we have and do work hard for what we have so people can try to rob you of it.After my experience with them I feel obligated to say something...Don't want anyone else to fall prey to them. Its a shame too...They will have to answer for doing people wrongly in front of the man...I really feel bad for them that they would mislead people just for the disease of greed,If you do wrong it will come back to you...so in my opinion go somewhere else,,I really don't want to associate with people that would do anyone wrong or dirty...and yes it's dirty to do people wrong just for the dollar.KARMA is a bad thing to suffer..By the way I am 61, and they did me dirty, not mad just in disbelief, and I felt so safe there in the beginning....SHAMEFULL
Chuck Stevens....where Chuck Stevens comes first! - Wishful thinking
Drove from about an hour away to take advantage of a "great" deal on a car I searched for months to get for my daughter.
Contacted the dealership on Saturday via email and got a prompt response, of course asking for.my phone number. I reluctantly gave it, because I dont like to be put on call list, but I figured since I'm gonna do business with them, what's the harm?
Monday AM comes and I headed up, arrived in Bay Minnette 30 mins after the dealerships opened, but since they are a "group" of dealerships I had to call to find out which one actually had possession of the car...no problem; the Chevrolet dealership (first one you come to arriving from the south) pulls it up and tells me the car is at the jeep dealership, so off I head.
Pulled into the Jeep dealership and there it is, sitting in the parking lot, so I'm thinking, great they've pulled it off to the side because they know I'm coming. Car is even better than the description, so I start getting excited. Months of searching over, I finally found the perfect car for my daughter, reliable, safe, and economical.
That's when things start to go wrong...walk into the showroom and literally have to stand in front of a salesman's desk to get his attention. Dont get me wrong, I'm usually annoyed at being mobbed the second i drive onto the lot, but this is Monday AM and no one seems interested in selling a car? Anyway; salesman was very polite when he realized I'm not just browsing but had a reason to be there. I tell him about the car, he says, "great, let me get a copy of your license and take it for a test drive." So he does...meanwhile I walk out to look at the car a bit more. 10-15 minutes go by, and I'm starting to wonder what's going on. Cant be my license, I'm retired military with an excellent credit score, and I'm a cash buyer.
Salesman eventually walks out and says, "the owner of the dealership was thinking of buying this for his son, so his wife has the keys, but I'm trying to track her down." Hmmm.... that's odd, why would they advertise a car that the owner of the dealership doesnt want to sell? Another few minutes go by, and the inevitable happens..."car is sold," the salesman says.
What?!? The dealership owner, CHUCK STEVENS himself has purchased the car for his son?!?
Now, look I understand that it's a dog eat dog world and if another consumer had walked in 10 minutes before me and plunked down the money for the car, I'm fine with it...that happens, but when a dealership puts a car out for sale, and then choses to NOT sell it because the guy who owns the dealership wants to keep it, that's BS!!
Bottomline; I wasted about 2.5 hours round trip to buy a car that was never actually for sale, but I'm glad that the salesman was honest enough to tell me the truth...although being lied to wouldve likely not made me as angry because conceivably another buyer "couldve" walked in right at opening and bought the car, but that's not what happened. I'm not naming the salesman to protect him from retribution.
Just beware, and dont be surprised if the car you want isnt available from Chuck Stevens because it's in Chuck Stevens' personal garage.
Great Service Department! - Lou
I took my 2014 Van in because of a ticking noise. The service department folks took great care of it and the guys were very friendly and caring. Jason went extra steps to ensure that everything was up to my satisfaction. Great Job!. I will be returning when needed.
We bought used car - Seniorsfrombm
We had a great experience at Autonation. Mobile. Salesman Sharmacus Mack was patient, highly knowledgeable about the car, and overall very pleasant to deal with. The Dodge Journey was just as represented. I would highly recommend if you are looking to buy a car in the Mobile area that you contact Shamarcus Mack at Autonation.
Liers - Volvofan
My husband called and negotiated a price for a car that they had for sale. The man said that they would take the price we offered. There was a leak in the trunk that needed repair so he was checking on when we could pick it up as we lived 4 hours away. The next day, we get a call saying they sold it for cash this morning. We could have paid cash. It was never an issue. My husband had even offered to put it on credit card to lock it down. They are the worst kind of business people and are an example of why people hate dealing with car dealers!!! No ethics!!!!!!!!
Now BASSWOOD - false advertising and fraudulent practices - redford
My wife was assisting my 74 year old mother-in-law in purchasing a used vehicle from Basswood (2016 Toyota Corolla). She saw the advertised price for the car on the internet, and called and spoke with a gentleman named Eddie. A deal was arranged where the car would be purchased at the full asking price, along with the necessary taxes, etc. As we live in Florida, and my wife's mother lives in Gadsden, they agreed to deliver the vehicle to her for that price. On the day before the purchase was to take place, Eddie called my wife and told her that they would need an additional $500, as his manager and the owner said they weren't making enough money off of the deal. When a price is advertised, a deal struck for that FULL PRICE, and arrangements are made for the purchase, I feel that it is fraudulent to then come back and demand more money. I am writing this because I feel the public needs to be aware of how this company tries to take advantage of females and the elderly.
Such an amazing dealership! - JKG523
Today was amazing! Needed a car today and I'm getting one today! Amira is wonderful and really knows what she's doing to get you set up and on your way. Will definitely ask for her anytime I plan on buying a new car 😄
Great Experience! - ricklatta61
We were in and out in less than two hours including the test drive and signing all the papers. All employees were very friendly and treated us like we were friends and family. I can't say enough good things about our salesman, Ryan Morton. We will definately put this dealership at the top of our list when we're in the market for another vehicle!
Very Disappointed. - Sherrie
Jeep giving all kinds of codes, then radio would go off, clock would go back to 12:00, then engine would shut off but not always. Happen over and over. Took it in they pulled the codes and when I ask what they were. They said old codes. They cleaned battery cables and tighten then up. Drove it 20 miles nothing. Told me couldn't find anything wrong. Husband drove it same thing. I put it back on my mail route. Started back coding. I do have to say in the past they have been good to me. But it seems like they have lost some really good people that worked their. They also need to upgrade the mechanics equipment bad. They are so far behind other dealerships. Just seems like to me they should have known what was wrong with my Jeep. It's still giving codes and still not fixed. But that is my work vehicle and I can't take off for days at a time for them to fix it. They never have parts sometimes they even get the wrong part in and that cost me another days pay. They also need to train more than on Chysler person to work on Chysler products. That would help so much.
