We just purchased our first Lexus, the ES300h, the other day and it was an exceptional experience all due to Jake Petch at Lexus of Pleasanton,CA. When we met Jake we all immediately hit it off. He is very personable and extremely knowledgeable on all the Lexus cars plus many other cars too. Jake explained all the features and tech advances in terms we could comprehend. When it came to seeing what would be our future car, he was very patient in answering all our questions. We never felt rushed or pressured. The whole process was understandably time consuming but Jake made it as pleasant as possible for us. Hospitality and relationship building appears to be very important at this dealership. Our purchase was definitely all due to Jake’s engaging personality and knowledge. (This was our first look and test drive and we were not really looking to make a purchase at this time unless we both got a good gut feeling about everything.) Jeremy Halden handled the financial end for us and was extremely detailed and patient explaining the many options and packages that were available to add on to the car purchase. He made that stressful process as easygoing as possible for us and it was a pleasure working with him too. We look forward to seeing both Jake and Jeremy in the future as we get further car usage help from Jake and when we come in for routine maintenance on our car. We would highly recommend meeting with Jake Petch to anyone wanting to purchase, lease, or inquire about a car they are interested in.

The Internet salesperson I dealt with is two-faced. When getting internet price quotes from Putnam Lexus, the same salesperson gave me two price quotes on two similar cars. The first price quote explained the details, and salesperson told me to make an appointment when I'm ready. The second email from the same person used slimy sales tactics (get in-store today or no deal) to try to high pressure me to close the deal as soon as possible without even having looked at the car. Therefore, buyer beware when dealing with sales here. Understand their sales strategies and tactics, and move at your pace, not theirs.
