A pleasant experience. Straightforward, no hassles, fair price. I am not a fan of the whole car buying experience in general but those I worked with at Valley Subaru were honest, fair, and plenty helpful with all questions and inquiries. I am definitely going to keep them in mind for future services, parts, and any future car purchases. Thanks Jorge, Lorena, and Tori! Y'all were awesome!

It is a big deal when you are looking to buy, trade, or lease a car. We have never looked forward to the part where you enter the "sales-grounds" and prepare to be attacked by sharks. However, that is not the case here. We have successfully signed 2 leases at this dealership, and have a 3 year positive history at this location. We would recommend that you ask for Dallas when you are looking for answers to car questions, and are thinking or ready to buy. My husband and I couldn't wait until our current lease was ready for an upgrade, because we knew right where to go, and who to talk to. We have been treated well by all levels of staff there, and Dallas has such a range of personal experiences and car knowledge, that makes us feel confident in our decision every time, and comfortable every time we go back!

The effort to complete as much as possible prior to document signing was awesome and made the final transaction efficient. The follow up customer service has been unparalleled. Thanks for the excellent experience and getting me the exact car wanted!
Just wanted to let you know what a blissful, all-day... - Solarado
Just wanted to let you know what a blissful, all-day drive we took in our Subaru Forester! It was a lazy, 325-mile loop around familiar mountains and the fall color views were magical and breathtaking.
Words fail to describe how perfect we are finding the 2018 Subaru you [Jonathan Rosales] found for us! Plus an un-sought bonus = our very first tank-fill when we started out shows that we got 37 mpg in the very mixed driving we have done. On top of that, when the ignition “froze” at our last stop of the day, there you were when I called, explaining how all we needed to do was yank the steering wheel hard enough to un-freeze it. Worked like a charm, taking the only worry out of our day and giving us great memories here in our “old folks” lives. 😇
Thank you for being who you are and helping us, both before and after the sale!
Went to their lot last Friday after work to purchase a... - dl
Went to their lot last Friday after work to purchase a vehicle with my brother. Was told by the sales man that they were the "walmart of autosales' - disregarded the lack of professionalism, and proceeded to test drive a used Subaru outback.
Unfortunately, salesman couldn't stick around to complete the deal, as he needed to pick up his kid at 4pm.
No worries, came back the next morning when the sales guy was supposed to be there... Arrived, talked about the car, etc... Had a hard credit pull. Qualified buyer...
Made an offer on the vehicle, to which the salesguy promptly threw his hands in the air talking about how we were "wasting his time" -- mind you, we hadn't taken up more than 15 minutes of his attention - and it was us that were intent on closing the deal the evening before, but needed to come back to finish up...
On the drive home, brother received a call from the sales mgr, adding why we left... He mentioned price, which wasn't entirely accurate. The mgr mentioned coming back, and that they could get a better interest rate if we wanted to still close the deal...
I went to their website, to get the name and contact information for their general manager. The chat box asked why I wanted the info... Relayed my displeasure with the sales guy, and wanted to chat. Was told by the chat box that they would provide the requested information, I gave them my email and phone number... Did not receive the information over the course of about 40 hours elapsed.
Few days later, on labor day - early in the day, I go back and inform the sales mgr of the unprofessional manner we were treated by his sales guy.
He seemed responsive to the concerns, mentioning that they are not the "Walmart of car sales," and that they train their employees better than that yada yada yada... Don't treat customers like that, etc.
I also asked if the internet site was a bot or human, as I had went there to get the GMs contact info... He said it is his sales guys working the software. I informed him of the unfulfilled request for the dealership's management contact info. Still haven't received the information requested almost a week later.
The sales manager asked if I wanted to work the deal then, to which I declined - told him I'd be back later in the afternoon with my brother, whose car it would be. Second chances and all.
Came back later with the brother to meet with another sales guy (who was admittedly better, more professional).
(Four visits to the dealership if you are counting)
Mentioned to the new sales guy about adjusting of interest that was offered by the sales mgr on the phone the previously. (or better, a slight discount on the posted price ) He goes and talks to sales mgr.
Comes back and says it's a no go.
He mentioned being able to throw in some accessories for the vehicle "off the books" - so that 'no paper trail' would exist - so the dealership wouldn't get 'in trouble' for "negotiating" on the car with corporate.
I mention that it's not really negotiating, but simply requesting a show of good faith on their part; solely because the first sales guy was so unprofessional. Not to mention the time I had invested in the back and forth.
He says he'll go talk to the sales mgr, and come out shortly, with him, to let us know what they could do to seal the deal...
never came back out. Neither the second sales guy, nor the sales manager. Saw them goofing off at the workstation through the windows.
At this point, we left again, and found another dealer that actually wanted to sell a car to a qualified buyer.
Actually got a better car and deal at Rocky Mountain Eurosports off of leetsdale/oenida...
Picked up a loaded unit, instead of the base line for the same money they were asking.
I suppose I should thank them for jerking me and my brother around.
Personally, I would stay away from this Subaru dealership - simply too many games being played by both the sales staff and management, not to mention severely lacking in professionalism as showed towards qualified pre-approved buyers.
Incredible Integrity; You Don't Hear Stories Like This Often - steamboat-resident
Buy your used vehicle from Cook in Steamboat, Colorado! Be sure to ask for Wolf, their best Salesman. Here's why:
I purchased a used Chevy Silverado High Country which ended up having some issues. Wolf was our sales rep and he was wonderful in every way - expert on all the features in the marketplace - and his guidance was spot on because we LOVE the vehicle. Wolf even arranged to have the vehicle stored the vehicle for a few days because it was a gift! He also came in on his day off to execute the deal so I could give the gift on time.
The most notable part is that we discovered a couple of issues immediately (not 1,000 miles or several months later, but immediately). Wolf was on it - attentive, responded to text messages right away - he wanted to make sure we were taken care of since we had just spent money with him. The owner of Cook got involved and provided immediate approval for his people to do a full, costly repair. I did not have to plead my case. They did the right thing, even though they legally didn't have to. Also, Wolf got us a loaner vehicle, which I did not expect them to do since we were not paying for a service call.
A side note - we have always had our Suburban serviced by their Craig Cook location - they are excellent - they fix it right, and they don't overcharge. Buying a used vehicle, we experienced the same integrity/professionalism.

Went for recall on airbag, changed oil and charged my wife - SWB1
Dropped car off for a airbag recall. Groove said this a “no charge” service. My wife picked up, and they had changed oil and charged her $65, without calling or asking. Previously, wife dropped and they recommended tires at 20K miles..... she agreed..... Ripped off, not needed! Stay away form this for Subaru service.
They texted me and asked “how was service”. I responded it “sucked” and explained why. They never responded.
Bad first experience - Cootmagoot
May 14th we had a recall done on our subaru legacy. From the minute we walked in service department we were not even acknowledged. An airbag was replaced but did not mention a bad airbag sensor which left airbag light on still with no explanation. So from experience I would not recommend anyone to this department.
This is the most miserable dealership to deal with EVER.... - Jajohnson275
This is the most miserable dealership to deal with EVER. HORRIBLE service on the Chevy side. First: took my truck in for glow plug replacement. Called three times throughout the day to see if anything had been done with my truck and finally 8 hours later, got a call back that they had done a diagnostic exam and found that I needed my glow plugs replaced when that was what I had told them when I got there. I asked them to pull up my history in their database as I had done one bay and not the other the year prior and they told me they didn’t have a database (which I later found to be untrue) and tried to tell me I needed them all replaced. So they told me they didn’t have the parts and I picked up my truck. They charged me a diagnostic fee when I never asked them to do a diagnostic, as I knew what was wrong. When I had them do the $300+ of work to replace glow plugs, my diagnostic fee was not credited.
Second: I took my truck to my mechanic for a service light on. Diagnostic came back EGT sensor was bad. My mechanic went onto Chevy’s website to find that there was an EGT recall on my truck’s model and year. I went to Morehart and brought the paperwork with me that my mechanic printed online. They told me that although it was outlined including MY VEHICLE, that my VIN was not a part of the recall even though an obvious issue with THAT part was identified and mine happened to be bad... they smugly told me “well trucks wear out and parts break.” I let them know that I would not be coming back and they seemed happy to see me go. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and am in the market for another and will never ever buy a vehicle from them again. I want to warn everyone to not go here either!!! They don’t stand behind anything they do!!!!
I am a 72-year old retiree living on a pension. I went... - Ripped off and Humiliated
I am a 72-year old retiree living on a pension. I went to look at their 2020 Crosstreks because I wanted to compare them to the Mazda I test drove the day before. After the test drive they checked my credit rating and said if I put down $5,000 they could give me a great deal. They tried to set the interest rate at 2.9% and when I said that was too high they lowered it to 1.9%. I later learned the going rate was 0%. But the worst was I thought we were negotiating from $21K and I would be financing $16K. I later found out they added my $5,000 ABOVE the $21K making the car cost $26K! That's $2500 more than the sticker price! Then they pushed papers at me so fast and came at me hard to buy one of about a dozen warranty plans. To that I said no. Then the salesman put me in a car that was waiting out front, (not the one I test drove) gave me less than 2 minutes introduction to the automated safety systems and rushed me out of the lot. I am ashamed to say it wasn't until about 4 days later I saw in the paperwork that I paid $26K instead of $16K. I immediately went back and told the manager I wanted to return the car and he said, "Too bad I don't have a return policy.". This car turns out not to even have the same features as the one I test drove. I am sick at what I did and disgusted at the way I was treated. Is there anything I can do? I would never have spent that much money if I had understood what was happening. I simply can't afford it.
