If you value your time, and wish to be treated like a... - AJB
If you value your time, and wish to be treated like a customer who matters, I would strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere. Unfortunately, my overall experience with this dealership was rather poor. The staff were unfriendly, disorganized, and I was treated more like an annoyance than a valued customer.
A few examples of my unfortunate experiences here:
1. The car buying experience itself was extremely rushed. I honestly felt like I was being pushed out the door after the paperwork was signed. No one even took the time to show me the features of the car I just bought.
2. It took several days to get them to send correct paperwork to my financial institution, despite asking them to do so several times.
3. Belongings that were accidentally left in my traded-in vehicle were thrown away (even though I had called immediately to ask if they could be retrieved, and was told they had been successfully collected).
4. I had to call several times just to set up a service appointment to have negotiated add-ons installed on my new vehicle.
Ultimately, I was told by their new general manager that "my timing was bad" (referring to when I purchased the vehicle), because they changed ownership a few days after my purchase. How was I supposed to even know that? I honestly fail to see how their lack of accountability and disorganization is in any way the customer's fault? Mind-boggling.
If you feel like jumping through hoops, working with salespeople who do not respect your time and don't hold themselves accountable, and creating a massive headache for yourself then perhaps you won't mind doing business here. Otherwise, please shop elsewhere. Don't end up feeling as I do - that I just spent a xxxx of a lot of money to be treated badly!

Everyone was very friendly and worked hard to get me into a great SUV. It is super loaded! Then sales person, Jeremy Koone when over all the car with me and how everything works. Very patient and respectful.
Kathy has excellent customer service skills - TRANSMISSIONHERO
Took my Equinox in for my routine oil change and Kathy checked me in and was very nice. You could tell that she had a million things going on, but she still helped me as if I was the only person asking for her assistance. Upon inspection, I needed two new tires, as well as a rear alignment. She tried to find me the same tires that I currently had, which she could not, but she got me right in for my alignment after I went and got tires elsewhere. She is very professional, and nice at the same time. I also have dealt with Kathy with my business, and I get the same great service each time! Thank you Kathy!

I will not every recommend this place to anyone. The service her sucks, they have my car going on 4 weeks and they still can't give me a direct answer. They told me 2 weeks ago that they had to get in touch with some hyundai specialist, now today they're telling me the same exact thing as if they didn't tell me this a couple of weeks ago. Tricia Roger's is my service provider im guessing she's to busy to even give you a simple update on your vehicle. I bought 2 vehicles from this place and I took my sister there to purchase a vehicle. I will never again buy a vehicle from there matter of fact my wife wanted a Genesis, we will definitely want be getting it from there. So people don't risk it take your business somewhere else. i promise you until I'm satisfied i will make sure to spread the word about this dealership

Louis is the best salesman you could ask for. He made my experience a welcomed one from the moment we spoke on the phone to the moment I signed on the dotted line. I came hoping to buy a car and left with a car I never dreamed would be possible to have. You won't be sorry asking for Louis. If you're a techy, he's also the guy for you. Knows everything about everything!

Ed Voyles Hyundai is the best!
My daughter’s 2013 Elantra needed the 30,000 mile service, plus front brakes. I called to set up the appointment with Cathy S, and then proceeded to change that appointment many times over a two-week span, due to my daughter’s work schedule. Cathy was unfailing kind to me when, yet again, I had to call and change! The service department performed the needed repairs, plus they called and informed me of the need for front brakes. In by 9, out by 3. Just perfect! Thank you for another positive Ed Voyles experience.

Friendly, Professional Dealership - C.Temples
Everett Hall was by far the best sales consultant I have ever dealt with in a car buying experience. I hate purchasing vehicles and this was not a typical car buying experience. He met every expectation and is straight forward and honest about all aspects of your car buying experience. He goes above and beyond to keep the lines of communication open and always keeps you informed during the negotiation process and financing process. I spent 30 minutes total in the dealership, everything else was done via phone. Time is precious to everyone and he respects your time and values you as a customer.

This is a terrible place to go. Don’t waste your money. I wanted a 2013 Audi A6 and they told me that was sold and convinced me to get a Honda Accord with fake paint and xxxxed up speakers. I had the car for 14 hours and they told me it’s mine now and there’s nothing they can about it

I had an appointment for a recall item and asked the service rep to also check in to the airbag light that was on. When the car was returned no one had addressed the light. They took the car back into the shop again and quoted me $417.77 to fix the clock spring. I went home and dug through my old Hyundai paperwork and discovered there was a 15 year unlimited mileage warranty extension for the clock spring. I addressed this through several emails with the Service Director. I was also checking in with him about the Hyundai Fuel Reimbursement Program. He had never heard of this and did not respond about the extended warranty coverage until my third request. He blamed the issue the service writer. I’m thinking no service center should return a car with an active airbag light without addressing it, but especially after specifically requesting it to be checked. I’m also very concerned they are charging people for work that is covered under warranty.

Took my car for diagnosis and recall repairs. My experiance was with Joadan and David Maddox (Service Manager) was horrible. The car displayed a check engine light, had slight hesitation/reduced power during acceleration, erratic shifting from the transmission during acceleration and clicking noise from the engine when engine speed is increased. Car also had 3 recall repairs that needed to be corrected.
I would have thought a 2016 64,000 mile engine should not be ceasing and or showing signs of a slow knock. And if so, Hyundai should honor the 5yr/100,000 mile warranty irrespective of 1st or 2nd owner. Anyway, we were not sure of the issues so we took it to Hyundai experts. Without any testing, we were told we needed a new $15,000 engine based on just the noise! We asked if they ran any test on the engine. Response was "with such noise it is pretty cut and dry. You need a new engine”. We asked severally based on what test or diagnosis? Both the intake clerk Jordan and manager David Maddox could not substantiate. I asked for a written repair order, and the intake clerk hand wrote some funny notes and gave it to me. To which I laughed and he went to his manager who just typed some jargon. On insisting I was told the recall parts were on order and were not even repaired or fixed and the engine needed replacement. Pissed we towed the car to the dealership that sold it to us a month and a half ago. They say the car has no issues and they have been driving it for several hours.
Back to Kennesaw dealership and the and spoke to Jim Lambert Service Director, he was equally as rude. He stated he was aware of the problem and the noise it was making; the car needed a new motor. Again, I asked based on what tests. What was the basis for that determination other than what some intake clerk heard? He would not give me an adequate response. The guys running this service department are a bunch of flakes and don't know what they are there to do with courtesy. My repair order should have been complete, showing exactly what tests were performed and exactly what they did in addition to what needs to be done. None of these were in my repair order. And Jim Lambert.... how he got his position! He is equally as useless and the guys I delt with down below. He wants me to tow the car back again so he could look at it. What?!!! Your team had it for three days and didn’t do a darn thing! I would not take my car here for service with that team on the floor. Go somewhere else. Avoid these guys like the plague. I am with the assistant general manager now, hopefully he will get to the bottom of this and clean up the service department before they sink the dealership. We will revise this review when the issue is solved to satisfaction.

I had a horrible experience there, the are politely rude and arrogant, not willing to help out in anyway. its so sad I feel hurt...I mean I just bought a car that has problems and nobody is helping out. I have been so unhappy with my purchase.i will appreciate if someone from a higher authority can come to my aid.
Very satisfied with our experiences at Hyundai of Athens.... - 2020 Santa Fe
Very satisfied with our experiences at Hyundai of Athens. I am sad to see so many bad reviews on this site for them. We bought our first Santa Fe in 2018 from McKenzie. Even though she was new to the dealership she was very helpful and if she did not know something she found out for us. Jay went over and above on our first purchase. We continued to have service done there without any issues over the years. When my husband went in for service last week, he ended up calling me and telling me he was going to drive a 2020 Santa Fe. We ended up purchasing the new Santa Fe fromMcKenzie. It was great to see her still there and enjoying her job. It was also a pleasure being with Jake once again, he may be processed very easy. We loved our 2019 Santa Fe and are looking forward to putting some fun miles on our 2020.
Friendly Customer Service - JfromColumbus
I went in on Saturday to look around and see if anything caught my eye. I was met at the door by Woody. He was very helpful and took the time to ask me about my needs and what exactly I was looking for. I'm the type of customer that most sales people can't stand, when I decide to make a large purchase I start doing my research months in advance so I know exactly what I'm looking for when I decide to finally buy. I ended up test driving 3 cars at the dealership. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything that just spoke to me.
Woody was one of the most professional sales people I dealt with and I would recommend anyone looking for a car to give him a chance to assist them.
