I live in Wichita, but visit family in McPherson frequently and purchased my vehicle at the Midway in McPherson. I had planned on visiting family Saturday Sept 24th, but I had noticed a screw in my tire which I felt needed to be repaired before traveling to McPherson. I contacted 3 facilities in Wichita only to be told they were booked up. After contacting the Walmart in McPherson to hear they were booked up as well, I called the Service Dept at Midway. I was told they were booked up but the person answering the phone said they would fix my tire if he had to do it himself. I risked driving on the interstate to get to McPherson to have my tire fixed but was rewarded with beyond excellent service. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Midway and have always gotten superior service. When the time comes I will purchase another vehicle there and recommend the dealership in the interim.

They couldn’t or wouldn’t fix a problem with the power outlet in my Ram 1500. I told them the problem and was told they would get back to me. That was 3 weeks ago and I still have heard nothing. It’s a warranty issue so I’m sure they’d rather work on things that bring in money. After buying 4 vehicles from them I thought they’d treat me with at least a little respect.

Setting up our test drive appointment was smooth and Dale was polite and accommodating but both vehicles that we drove were dirty and NOT ready to drive off the lot if we'd wanted to purchase that day. One still had cell phone holder stickies attached to the dash while the other had a chip in the windshield. Sales manager Chris offered other vehicles to test drive but consistently exceeded our budget. He asked what prevented us from buying the cars we drove and we told him that it was the condition they were in more than anything but he immediately said to ignore that. Even if they did have the car we ended up wanting, I would not want to purchase from this dealership.

Chrysler had me take my Jeep to Eddy’s for repair of corrosion on the door hinges. I sure wish I had taken it somewhere (anywhere) else. It’s now been over a month and Eddy’s still has my Jeep for a repair which was supposed to take 3-4 days. Horrible service.
The first problem was them not returning my phone calls to make sure that the repairs were completed and the Jeep delivered to the airport as agreed. The second problem was them not delivering the Jeep to the airport, resulting in my wife, daughter and me being stranded at the airport on a Sunday evening.
When I was finally notified that the paint work was completed, I got a ride from Hutchinson to the dealership in Wichita to pick up the vehicle. Upon arrival, I found that they had painted a pubic hair into the paint on one of the doors, and that they had chipped the paint on all 16 of the bolts used to attach the hinges to the doors.
Then they did touch-up paint on the hinges, but did a terrible job with chips still showing in the paint.
Now, over a month later, the Jeep still isn’t finished. Go anywhere OTHER THAN Eddy’s.

This was our first dealership experience and I'm so glad we chose this dealership to do business! We had originally gone down the road to the Ford dealership but the salesman there didn't listen to our needs and price range. We politely declined and decided to see what Clint Bowyer had to offer. David came out to greet us. He was very nice and listened to us, and didn't try to push a car on us we weren't interested in. Once we found a car and sat down to discuss the details, we understood why David's nickname is "Simple". Everything was straight-forward and honest, and he was very happy to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

I brought my Jeep in for some warranty work and a couple additional concerns. It did take a little longer than planned, through no fault of the dealership, but Bill bent over backward to make sure all the repairs were taken care of and that we walked away having had a good experience.
I sincerely appreciated the time he took to listen to my concerns as well as Bill’s integrity and at the end of the day I that’s what makes the biggest difference. I can say that I would recommend the service department here for your Jeep repairs.

The reasons I will not buy from Joe Self BMW - Rhonda Wills
I leased a BMW 328i from Joe Self about 8 years ago. I had a continuing problem with the seat belt extender - the seat belt snapped off the extender every time I got in the car and tried to buckle the driver's seat belt. I went back to the dealership time after time (all while the car was under warranty) and the service department told me that it was a design defect that BMW was aware of. The seat belt extender was replaced several times - it worked for a few weeks, then the seat belt began to snap off the extender. The last time I took the car in to be fixed, the service manager told me that it was as good as it was going to get and they would not repair the car again. When the lease expired, I turned the car in and explained that I was very disappointed in the service and response. The manager I talked to at that time was very cold. I next bought a Mini from a Kansas City dealer, and then a BMW X3i from the Kansas City dealership, solely because of my bad customer service experience at Joe Self. When I recently got notice that my BMW was due for yearly service, I called Joe Self BMW dealership since I live in Wichita and asked for an appointment for service. I have to assume that Joe Self BMW is reimbursed by BMW for annual maintenance and Joe Self is not doing the annual maintenance out of the goodness of its heart. I asked for a loaner car since that is one of the advertised "perks" of Joe Self. I was abruptly told that at the direction of Mr. Self, that the dealership would not provide loaner cars to those BMW owners who did not purchase the car from dealership. I love the cars, but the dealership leaves a lot to be desired and will certainly not get my business in the future. Cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THEY LIED ABOUT MY CAR BEING IN 2 WRECKS!!! first off within 3 months of having my car. The ac compressor completely went out. Tried multiple times to contact the dealer and emailed the manager and they wont work with me or help me with my car. They then told me to deal with chrysler. Then come to find out that they lied saying my car had only one owner and it actually had 3 previous owner . tried to ask the manager why they lied and he would never answer me. Took me 3 times before they would send me a list of what they fixed on it and I think they didnt even send me everything because come to find out it had been wrecked not only once but twice and they LIED to me about it. Long story short they will commit fraud!!! They are liars and will not help you and will not try to make it right. Very disappointed!!

Took my Chrysler 300 in for an oil change and they forgot to put a bolt on resulting in the undercare shield hanging down and making an awful noise, possibly breaking it. We had no problems before our oil change. When I returned it and they replaced the bolt, they made me feel I was the one who did the damage. If the bolt was put back on in the first place, I would not have had to make the extra trip. I will go else where next oil change.
