I brought my vehicle there when the check engine light was on. Prior to them being House Chevrolet, they were Walser which is where i originally bought my car. I have the bumper to bumper protection on my car through Walser. These guys worked with me and were able to get my gasket valves, oil valve crack and the turbo replaced in my 2016 Cruze along with an oil change and tire rotation for very little cost (as in just over $200.00 because that is the detuctible). I had my doubts about them, but these guys are great!

My salesman was Gary Miskowic and he was very helpful as I test-drove the car and considered my options. I had dealt with Gary earlier when one of my sons bought his first vehicle and he helped him make his decision. I had to finance the vehicle and it is always fun to hear the stories the Bob Flinn. I needed to have the oil changed in the vehicle and with Kruse's Free Oil for Life on vehicle sales, there is no reason not to use them. I was also having a minor issue with the alignment of the headlights and they quickly checked and adjusted them for me.

Kolar charges $2.00 more per quart of engine oil than other local GM dealer. Had purchased a truck from Kolar with no major problems but will not go back due to parts Mark-up.

Improperly installed skid plate after oil change. - wcook16
I brought my car in today for an oil change and on my way home I noticed a thumping under my car. I pulled over, looked underneath and saw my plastic skid plate dangling by a couple fasteners. I called and spoke to the manager and he offered to fix it. This is after I brought my car in earlier to have my wheels balanced, as I was having a bad vibration on my steering wheel. Only to be told I had a bad wheel bearing, which was causing the vibration in my steering wheel. Funny that I would fee a rear wheel bearing through my steering wheel, plus they didn't do the balancing that I asked them to do. i had another place balance my wheels and low and behold all vibration is gone. As for letting them fix my skid plate, why would I trust their work? Highly recommend you go some where else to get service.
Extended warranty - Honestgirl
I brought my car in for a loud exhaust. After looking at it they told me to fix the exhaust it would cost $1000. The car is five years old. I bought it used at Harry Browns two years ago. It was "certified and inspected". I decided to purchase the "best extended warranty....bumper to bumper" to the tune of over 4000. Well, the exhaust was NOT covered under warranty because it was due to rust. On a five year old car? I put my car through a wash that cleans the under carriage in the winter. In my opinion 1 of 2 things happened here. Either it was not inspected the way I trusted it would be or Dodge uses cheap materials and refuses to stand behind their products. Either way the bumper to bumper warranty was USELESS to me even though the exhaust is between the bumpers...go figure! Anyway, I took the car to another service center and got the problem fixed for $52.01. MUCH less..... At least Harry Browns didn't charge me the service fee of $122.00 just for looking at the vehicle to find the problem and the service writer was very nervous about talking with me. I do think he felt pretty bad about having to tell me the warranty was useless. That is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. My concerns in buying this extended warranty are coming true. Take my money....don't stand behind what you sell....hope you sleep good at night.....

I brought my vehicle in for service and they damagedon't my truck they did pay for the damage but would not cover my fuel for running around for estimates it's a 30 mile round trip to town which I would have to drive 4 times plus another vehicle with my wife to pick me up and drop me off when it's done. Also they never told me about the damage and they all knew about it thank god I saw it before I left the dealership mark Lance would not pay me 25.00 to cover fuel costs I will have from this . Mark Lance thinks it's funny that I ask for that he laughed in my face I will never do business with them again

I recently totaled my Buick Rainier and found a very similar one at this dealership. I drove 100 miles (one way) to purchase. Eric was very friendly and guided me through the process. Transaction performed by New Car sales Manger, Kevin. Long story short...Car was slightly damaged at the dealership while we went to lunch in another car.I did not notice until I drove home. Engine light check went on during the trip home as well.. I questioned both of these incidents to the Used Car Mgr and he assured me he would check TV monitors to ascertain the slight damage, He also said the Auto Check system used to check the history of the car was good.
I immediately purchased CARFAX to substantiate the quality and found CARFAX reported EXTENSIVE damage to the car. That would have altered my opinion of the car and probably not purchased. He said I should have checked before and stood behind the Auto Check system. Would you?
What was insulting and disrespectful is that the Used Car manager never answered any of my questions as he had verbally promised and must have decided I was not worth his time. Pretty disappointing in what I thought would be a pleasant experience with a reputable Dealership

They are friendly, smooth talking salespeople. When the car has a problem moments after driving off the lot, you'd better have a warranty. If it is a used car you are out of luck. It's not their problem. If you want to buy from someone who is honest and actually values customerS - DO NOT GO HERE!!!

This dealership is going to show you every stunt in the sketchy used car dealer stunt book. They just are. I bought 2 vehicles there, in 2007 and 2013, tried out the service department a few times, and went shopping for a 3rd vehicle this week, before I finally had enough. I left there feeling sick to my stomach after nearly every transaction, encountering outright dishonesty more often than not. Why did I keep going there? I guess because I live so close to the dealership, and hoped that it would get better. I also thought that all used car dealerships were probably essentially the same.
Negotiations: classic bait and switch: salesperson says we are a wholesale dealer (which is ludicrous---they are obviously not "wholesaling" used cars to the public), so we can't wiggle on the sales price of the car, but you are going to get more value out of your trade-in. Fast forward to conversation about trade-in, and manager tells you we are a wholesale dealer so we can't offer much for your trade-in. Magically, they will offer you exactly what you owe. But the hilarious thing is, THE CAR WOULD NOT EVEN START. That's right, a car, priced at just under $20k, with a big **AS IS---NO WARRANTY** sign in the window, would not even start!! The salesman went to get the car, and when he did not return for close to half an hour, we went looking for him, and that is when we were told that "we were moving cars around on the lot last night, and we must have left the headlights on." Except, they were not even able to jump start this car, we watched them try. And, this car has automatic headlights that turn off when the car is off, so how did that happen? Hmm. In the 3 hours that we were at the dealership, they did not get the car running, so we never test drove it, they lowballed me on my trade-in (and when I balked at their quote the sales manager Mathew Syria asked me if I would like to see "what people are actually paying for these cars" and in true Sonju form, printed out a list of auction sales prices, not retail). He had essentially the same car on his lot, one year older than mine, marked up almost $5,000 over what he was offering me. We left at that point, with the salesman and the manager in full good cop/ bad cop theatrics. But it was all for the best, because I ended up buying essentially the same car, with 40k fewer miles, at another dealer 2 days later. I got what I asked (2 K more than Sonju offered) for my trade-in, and I was treated fairly and honestly. This dealership has a bad reputation among many locals, for good reason.
They failed to detect a failing transmission - Rocky
Bought a new GMC pickup which managed to have some drivetrain problems at 60K. Their Service dept did not find anything. Then just past the 70K warranty mark the transmission failed and had to be serviced by another dealer at full price.
