Garrett was Phenomenal - Bonnie S
This was the single best car buying experience of my life. Car needs, and Car wants are not always the same thing - Garrett took the time to listen to what I said I needed, wanted, and could afford. I drive into the Twin Cities every day for work, during rush hour traffic. He brought me several vehicles to look at, sit in and or test drive, and found the one that accommodated the long hours driving, and the arthritis I have in my back. That's how you provide service - and win repeat business. I'll be back. Thanks Garrett - Thanks Miller

My experience was a pleasant one. I found the Acadia that suited our needs. I was given a lot of information about the vehicle and what features were available. Very happy with it,
Brian Holmen - Caring, Comfortable & Professional Experience - Dee
I started the vehicle purchase process by submitting an on-line quote request. Tricia Woitas from Snell Motors responded and I immediately felt comfortable to respond and answer her questions. I was able to share my dislike in the purchase process while also having health issues that limited the amount of time I could spend talking and test driving vehicles. Her correspondence came across as caring and comfortable, yet very professional. She set up an appointment with Brian Holmen who had already reviewed my email correspondence with Tricia, yet sat and spoke with me about my interests, needs, family and more. It took me multiple vehicles and days to test vehicles and make a decision. Brian was so patient, professional and did not push me to make any decision. And, Tricia checked in on me during a couple of my visits. Snell Motors also provided me a great trade-in value that pretty much matched KBB quotes; thus, it was hard to pass that offer and other specials at the time. Brian truly helped take a process that I dislike and find uncomfortable to one that was of care, concern and a true interest in me. He has followed up a couple of times since my purchase just to check in and offer his services, if any questions or concerns arise. Reid Anderson also helped us finalize the financial process. I recommend Snell Motors of Mankato.

Used Truck needed. Valley GMC delivered. - BearIsland
After an unfortunate accident during the recent April snowstorm I needed to replace my vehicle. Leon S. Met us as soon as we walked in and provided multiple options. We have bought several vehicles from Valley GMC in Apple Valley Mn and have returned for repeat business because this dealership means it when they say they care about their customers.
First time buyer - Srcampbell
I worked with Cheryl and she was awesome. Not once did I feel pressure. Being a first time car buyer, she helped me understand all the ins and outs and helped me think through pros and cons. She was very transparent and honest. She helped me find everything I needed in a car as well as my wants, without going over budget. I thank her for making my experience so pleasurable!
Service and Purchase of a new vehicle. - ChevyBuyer
They made us, (my wife and me), feel like long time friends. Their Service Department staff were great when we brought in our old vehicle for repairs, getting us in on the 4th of July weekend. That's why we decided to look at new vehicles there and were lucky enough to meet Mike and Kelli. Congrats to Brandl for their excellent selection of personnel. We love the new Equinox.
Great Service & Sales everytime - Enviro-Dyne
The service department is the best in the tristate area. I would recommend calling Jeff or Bob to schedule any of your service needs today!
Great customer service and friendly personnel. - BLA
Always have a positive experience when dealing with Grover Auto.
Only negative comment is that it does not always have a selection of car options to choose from. I did find a car there, just may have selected a different make and model given the option.
Awesome!!! - Aschroeder
I needed a new car. The one I had was on it's way to the junkyard. I kinda knew what I was looking for, but had no real idea. But with the help of Keegan Blehm I was able to find exactly what I wanted. I had such a good experience.
Great Experience - Happy Grandma
I think Mike Gaydos is the best. I have been driving 2001 vehicle for 15 yrs so I knew nothing about Vehicle technology for year 2016. Mike spent at least 1 1/2 hours showing me how everything works and he made sure i knew how to operate everything in my car before i left the lot. I Love my Chevy Malibu and will recommend family and friends to shop at Whitaker, I left knowing that if i had any problems or questions Mike and the service center would be there to help me. My experience with Steve in financing was very informative and went smooth and quick.
Excellent service. - Mary 53
Larry Anthony went above and beyond in helping me when I needed a new vehicle. My experience with everyone at Apple was positive and I highly recommend this dealership. No pressure, just help, which made the situation less stressful.

Painless - upgradeShirley49
Scott Schmidt made the whole process of trading in my old car for a newer one very easy. He was very helpful in all aspects and even helped me connect to Bluetooth and activated my XM and OnStar as well as canceling the OnStar for my old vehicle. If I'm ever in the market for another car, I would definitely ask for him again.
Jodi Lehrke was great to work with - KBR55
Found a great used car online at Matt Saxe and they made the purchase process quick and easy. Can't say enough positive things about my great experience with Jodi Lehrke.
Friendly and helpful - Jen K.
These individuals are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. Thomas was helpful as always when dropping the car off for oil change, new tires and brake pads just in time for winter. They were able to get me a rental for the day as my 2 year old had lost patience after 1 hour at the dealership. Everything went smoothly! Thank you Luther!! I will never go to another dealership as long as I'm in Minnesota:)
We didn't feel pressured by the salesman - Missy0913

Oil change and minor warranty work - T Hay
I needed to have the oil changed in the vehicle and with Kruse's Free Oil for Life on vehicle sales, there is no reason not to use them. I was also having a minor issue with the alignment of the headlights and they quickly checked and adjusted them for me.
Great Customer Service - Doug
Dave Middleton was great! The time he took to show every detail was amazing. He made sure my bluetooth, onstar, and the GM app were working properly before I left. Very thorough and sincere. Have to admit this was one of the most pleasant car-buying experiences ever!
Customer Service? HELLO - Fords4me
With all of the places to buy a car you think there would be an urgency to make sure the customer was happy, especially when it is small issue for the dealer and quite frankly their fault.
Taking used cars out for test drives one notices that the floor mats are replaced with plastic to protect the mats from getting dirty during test drives, this is a good idea.
I was told some really obvious things like "the bed is in really condition" the side mirrors have turn signals in them" "the truck is really clean". I can see all of that with my own eyes, I was never told one negative thing, normal for car sales people. One is left to find the negatives on their own, again, normal car sales stuff. Here is the problem they took the floor mats out, normal, and when I took delivery on the vehicle there were no floor mats. Salesman was of no help, again pointed out a positive. Called the sales manager, ended up being the new car sales manager, he was not willing to find a solution. I ordered new floor mats online knowing they were not going provide me a solution. Called the used car manager and no real solution offered. I suggested some free oil changes to make things right, he was appalled at the suggestion. Left message with the GM but I am not holding my breath. Something as simple as finding a way to make the customer happy and they fail!!!! They didn’t even attempt to find a solution. !!WOW!!
Sold a truck out from under me - Brad
I attempted to purchase a low miles Dodge pickup today. I contacted Harry Brown's dealership online last night and followed up with a phone call this morning. I talked with Halie and then was handed off to Sean. I offered to put down a deposit. I was told that was not necessary. He would have the car washed and the paperwork ready for me at 7 pm when my son and I would be arriving after a 4-hour drive from northern Minnesota.
Just before 3 pm when we would be leaving our house, I get a call from the dealership informing me that someone would be arriving in 30 minutes to test drive the truck. I asked how that could be as I had already agreed to buy the truck and we were just leaving to come and get it. I was told that I would have to wait until after the 3 scheduled test drives scheduled for today. There was nothing scheduled when I called in earlier that morning.
I spoke with two different managers who said there was nothing they could do. They said that they don't hold vehicles and it's first-come-first-served. I told him I wasn't coming to test drive the vehicle. I was coming to purchase the vehicle. He said I should have put down a deposit and a purchase agreement. I told him the sales guy said I was good. If I needed to fill out the paperwork, then send it over and I would fill it out right away and we would then hit the road. The manager declined.
We went around a couple of more times with him claiming that I was coming to test drive and he wouldn't hold it. I corrected him each time saying that I was purchasing the vehicle and to get me the paperwork as necessary and I would be happy to prepay for the vehicle over the phone with a credit card or money transfer. He declined and said it would be whoever came there first and made the purchase.
He asked if I wanted him to call me back if the folks test driving decided not to purchase. I told him not to bother as I didn't want to do business with someone that conducted his business in this way. He offered no solutions to a mistake made by the sales staff. I would not recommend this dealership.
WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE - Paul DesJardin
Not only did they get us into a brand new vehicle but they also were able to locate a bank that may be able to help us refinance and lower my payments on a different vehicle. I will recommend them and we will return in the future.
Mark lance - troy
I brought my vehicle in for service and they damagedon't my truck they did pay for the damage but would not cover my fuel for running around for estimates it's a 30 mile round trip to town which I would have to drive 4 times plus another vehicle with my wife to pick me up and drop me off when it's done. Also they never told me about the damage and they all knew about it thank god I saw it before I left the dealership mark Lance would not pay me 25.00 to cover fuel costs I will have from this . Mark Lance thinks it's funny that I ask for that he laughed in my face I will never do business with them again
Communication & followup - radioman
I recently totaled my Buick Rainier and found a very similar one at this dealership. I drove 100 miles (one way) to purchase. Eric was very friendly and guided me through the process. Transaction performed by New Car sales Manger, Kevin. Long story short...Car was slightly damaged at the dealership while we went to lunch in another car.I did not notice until I drove home. Engine light check went on during the trip home as well.. I questioned both of these incidents to the Used Car Mgr and he assured me he would check TV monitors to ascertain the slight damage, He also said the Auto Check system used to check the history of the car was good.
I immediately purchased CARFAX to substantiate the quality and found CARFAX reported EXTENSIVE damage to the car. That would have altered my opinion of the car and probably not purchased. He said I should have checked before and stood behind the Auto Check system. Would you?
What was insulting and disrespectful is that the Used Car manager never answered any of my questions as he had verbally promised and must have decided I was not worth his time. Pretty disappointing in what I thought would be a pleasant experience with a reputable Dealership
Bad experience - Michael75
I bought a truck that had 17,000 miles on it three months ago. The first day I noticed the tailgate didn't work. Inspection? Then they called me a month later and said the title got sent to the wrong city ( Milwaukee ), and I need to drive back to Winona and redo the paperwork? ? Why is this my issue??? Its the dealerships mistake. After I had the truck about 30 days, the air conditioning seemed like the air that was blowing was not as cold as the day I drove off the lot. It is now blowing ambient temp air. Mechanics I know think that free on (or whatever is now used) was added right before I bought it. Didn't get the truck I thought I was paying for.
Steer clear - SueK
This dealership is going to show you every stunt in the sketchy used car dealer stunt book. They just are. I bought 2 vehicles there, in 2007 and 2013, tried out the service department a few times, and went shopping for a 3rd vehicle this week, before I finally had enough. I left there feeling sick to my stomach after nearly every transaction, encountering outright dishonesty more often than not. Why did I keep going there? I guess because I live so close to the dealership, and hoped that it would get better. I also thought that all used car dealerships were probably essentially the same.
Negotiations: classic bait and switch: salesperson says we are a wholesale dealer (which is ludicrous---they are obviously not "wholesaling" used cars to the public), so we can't wiggle on the sales price of the car, but you are going to get more value out of your trade-in. Fast forward to conversation about trade-in, and manager tells you we are a wholesale dealer so we can't offer much for your trade-in. Magically, they will offer you exactly what you owe. But the hilarious thing is, THE CAR WOULD NOT EVEN START. That's right, a car, priced at just under $20k, with a big **AS IS---NO WARRANTY** sign in the window, would not even start!! The salesman went to get the car, and when he did not return for close to half an hour, we went looking for him, and that is when we were told that "we were moving cars around on the lot last night, and we must have left the headlights on." Except, they were not even able to jump start this car, we watched them try. And, this car has automatic headlights that turn off when the car is off, so how did that happen? Hmm. In the 3 hours that we were at the dealership, they did not get the car running, so we never test drove it, they lowballed me on my trade-in (and when I balked at their quote the sales manager Mathew Syria asked me if I would like to see "what people are actually paying for these cars" and in true Sonju form, printed out a list of auction sales prices, not retail). He had essentially the same car on his lot, one year older than mine, marked up almost $5,000 over what he was offering me. We left at that point, with the salesman and the manager in full good cop/ bad cop theatrics. But it was all for the best, because I ended up buying essentially the same car, with 40k fewer miles, at another dealer 2 days later. I got what I asked (2 K more than Sonju offered) for my trade-in, and I was treated fairly and honestly. This dealership has a bad reputation among many locals, for good reason.
They failed to detect a failing transmission - Rocky
Bought a new GMC pickup which managed to have some drivetrain problems at 60K. Their Service dept did not find anything. Then just past the 70K warranty mark the transmission failed and had to be serviced by another dealer at full price.
