These are some good people to do business with. I went to check out a car that was already sold and rather than sweat me and follow me around, they allowed me to inquire about another car I saw while on the lot. I wound up getting the vehicle. They ramn the car through their detail and mechanics. I was allowed to buy the car out the door with the amount given me by my insurance co. They let me get a nice car much cheaper than they had planned to sell it for and I got my permanent tag and registration in the mail. No hassling with dmv. Thank you for an awesome vehicle that I cant keep my hands off off everyday wiping, detailing, getting double takes from people. I am considering the drive over there just to show off my car and shake Manager Herby and the sales reps hand. You guys are the standard that A and D car lots need to learn from. Vehicle is nice, but not a great deal on the price. I had my own financing with my credit union, but the Sales Manager swore he could meet or beat their rate. Apparently he applied to about fifteen banks, and was only able to match the rate...not beat it. All those inquiries dropped my Credit Score significantly. Not good. Car was hurriedly cleaned, and not very well. Pet hairs are still all over. This dealer has a good reputation, but we aren't very pleased wit our experience.

DEALERSHIP FALSE ADVERTISING; On 7/31/21, I visited the dealership with my wife and mother to purchase the car I found on TrueCar.com, which would have been my 3rd successful purchase using TrueCar. A 2020 Honda Civic LX Sedan CVT- VIN#LH515697 Stock #PS21144 was priced at an "Excellent Price" of $17846. I received three phone calls from the Sales Rep, Tim Oakes, to confirm my appointment. We test drove, reviewed the entire car with Tim. There was a scratch that he said they would paint and then deliver the car to us after purchase. Upon meeting with the Business Manager, Les Stewart, he advised us that the Retail price was $22,358, and that "it is not in his best interest to honor the TrueCar pricing" and that he took this all the way up to the General Manager. He explained that "they will not honor the TrueCar price". Mr. Stewart advised me that I would have to pay $4,512 more than what was advertised because he is "low on stock" and "no one is honoring TrueCar pricing, and now is not the time to honor it". I had planned to go back to Carmax to sell my 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid for $5500, in order to pay for the car in cash. We required no financing, which was disappointing to the dealership.
I paid for a babysitter and traveled an hour and a half from Morganton, NC to be misled by false advertising at this dealership. We were so excited and we feel this is a bait-and-switch in the car industry. Shame on all of you. I thought false advertising was illegal.

I want to take a moment to thank Gregg for all of his assistance. I went to get my car serviced and there were several lights on which had me concerned. Gregg must have seen it or sensed it and made me feel comfortable. He told me to come in early the next morning to drop my car off and he would take car of everything. So said, so done. He called me with the diagnosis and told me that it would be finished by the end of the work day which it was. This was my first time going to a dealership to service my car and I'm sure we've all heard stories about how they can be towards customers, but not Gregg, he really cares. I appreciated it.

Stokes Honda provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First, I bought a car with them a year and a half ago. Everything was dandy. They were more than helpful. Until it became apparent they sold me a complete lemon! I came home for a funeral this past weekend to have my transmission fail. I brought it into Stokes based on my good experiences prior. I regret this wholeheartedly since I was initially quoted $7000 for repairs and then pawned off between salespeople when it became clear they could not make any more money off of me. Not only did they completely leave me in the dust, but they were also condescending and belittling. I can specifically call out Kathleen, Gary, Joe, and Rodney, who, as a team, destroyed my faith in Honda. Kathleen was unhelpful and avoidant. Gary accused me of not servicing my car at all in my ownership, despite me keeping all receipts of maintenance. Joe was equivalent to Oz behind the curtain - all-powerful but nowhere to be found. I'm beginning to think Joe doesn't exist and is just the sales department's fake scapegoat. And Rodney... Rodney was all smiles when I was buying the car and all accusing when I needed help. I could go on and on but I save y'all the time. STOKES HONDA IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME - THEY WILL ROB YOU.

Very poor salesman. These folks told many misleading statements about their best deal. Told us that the deal on the table was only good for today when in fact, it was good 3-4 days later. Wanted to charge us $500 to look at the car a second time. Will not be going back to this dealership. No haggle price- right!
