⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give this team 10 stars, I would. - GenX
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give this team 10 stars, I would.
We’d been in the market for a new vehicle for about three months because I like to be prepared before we buy anything. My wife actually liked our Cherokee a lot — if they still made it the way it was, we probably would’ve just gone with another Cherokee.
We read that the Compass was basically the “new Cherokee,” so we went to check it out. We didn’t even need to drive it — we sat in it and both knew right away it wasn’t the vehicle for us. So we left and went to another dealer we’d already seen, and that turned into nothing but games with the numbers and the usual runaround.
To be honest, the dealer we had just come from was a zero-star experience for me.
Then the curveball hit: our 2019 Cherokee suddenly needed major repairs. Overnight it went from “we’re looking” to “we need something now,” and we were stressed and under pressure.
That’s when we brought our Cherokee to this Jeep dealership for service. We were there strictly for the repair — and service is actually who looped in sales once they saw the list of issues and the cost.
I came in knowing more about what we didn’t want than what we did. I told them what we needed in a vehicle, what features were non-negotiable, and even the color.
And I’ll be honest: I am that guy when it comes to service and reviews:
• If you suck at your job, I’ll leave a 1-star review and say why.
• If you just do your job, I leave it alone.
• If you go above and beyond, I’ll give you a 5-star review and make sure people hear about it.
The reason I’m saying this team deserves 10 stars is because I was ready to give the last dealer zero.
These folks earned it.
I scrutinized everything — double-checked, triple-checked, asked all the hard questions. Through the whole process, more than once they looked me in the eye and said,
“We’re not that dealer. We’re not that dealer. We’re not that dealer.”
And you know what? They weren’t.
• The service writer and mechanic were honest and clear about what was wrong with our old Jeep. No scare tactics, no upsell games — just facts.
• The sales manager actually sat at the table with us and talked to us like he was there to help, not lean back, lowball us, and say “then go get it somewhere else” like a manager at another store did.
• Our salesperson stayed patient through all of it, and when our insurance rep messed things up three different times, he just quietly took control and got it fixed.
Because of the rebates and the fair trade value they gave us, we ended up in a Grand Cherokee — a larger, more comfortable SUV — for about the same price we were about to spend on a smaller sub-/compact SUV at the other dealer that was playing games with us.
We drove away in a Grand Cherokee that fits what we need right now — safe, reliable, with the features we asked for, and even the color we wanted — without the nonsense we experienced elsewhere.
I don’t hand out praise easily. But this team earned it the hard way, under pressure, with us watching every detail. After coming from a dealer I’d honestly rate zero stars, this place was a night-and-day difference. If you’re tired of dealer games and just want people who will be straight with you and actually help, I can honestly say:
They really aren’t that dealer.
