I just want to say working with Mike Dupree was amazing. He made my visit so pleasant. He did everything above and beyond to make me end up leasing a new vehicle with not a bit of struggle. He has the best personality as a salesman. Not pushy at all. He worked with the Gm there to help me stay within my budget for a new car. The finance manager was extremely nice too! He introduced himself and worked with me on certain coverages. Finally Allison the customer care manager that wrapped up the paperwork was 💯 amazing. She’s pleasant and has a great personality. She even helped me download the my Chevy app on my phone and made sure I was knowledgeable of how it worked before left. Allison came out to the car and explained a lot about the features of my new equinox. She made sure my Bluetooth was hooked up and I was familiar with the touchscreen. Awesome job Allison! Bought a new van in 2017. In 2019 the headliner flooded due to leaky seals (all of them) to the point that water was dripping into cupholders. The body shop dried it out, replaced the seals, and sent me on my way. They DIDNT tell me that a flooded vehicle actually had to be totaled. Nor did they check the wiring which was also flooded. In fact, I only just learned, today, that they should have totaled the vehicle as it is now potentially dangerous to drive. Two years later, the drivers window was intermittently pausing. I told them it seemed electrical in nature but they refused to look into that. They wanted me to buy a motor for it for $1500. Then the climate control knob burned off. I told them to check the electrical, as only electrical current could cause the knob to burn like that. They said no...it was all just a coincidence. I had to buy a whole new climate control system. Then I noticed that the dome light receptacle was burned. Again, they said it couldn't be electrical. But when the van stranded me on the side of the road for loss of power, the first thing they checked was the electrical. Yes, the grounding strap that is also associated with the dome light, climate control, and window had to be replaced. So if they had just checked the electrical system, maybe the problem could have been solved by replacing that grounding strap instead of me spending thousands on replacements. Just FIY...Im fairly certain that the airbag is ALSO at risk because it may also be on that same grounding strap. That's a future accident waiting to happen. Im also fairly certain that if they had just either totaled the vehicle like they supposedly should have, or at least confirmed that all of the circuits were in good condition and not impacted by the flood...well, this wouldn't even be a conversation. Do they just not care that people get hurt in vehicles that are defective? What if it was their own family driving it? Bet they might do the right thing if that were the case. But where the almighty dollar is at stake...nothing is beneath them.

purchased a used Honda Pilot from Bob Johnson Chevy in Pulaski and I was pretty pumped at first, however, as my first month of ownership is about over I am finding my overall experience very lacking. For starters, I noticed a couple of issues with the car prior to taking delivery, Dylan said he would take care of it and neither was fully resolved. I ended up having to purchase a new license plate light (Honda OEM so it wasn’t cheap) as it’s a whole unit, not just a bulb as Dylan assured me it was. Also the front trim on the grill around the headlights was not seating into the grill. Dlyan reseated it but it has since popped out again. I’ve reseated it but I think it’ll have to be replaced, as I am assuming the clips aren’t catching. I also asked Dlyan about my registration (prior to signing anything) expiring within the next couple weeks and he said “Oh we just transfer it, even if it’s just a day away” and that I could just renew it anytime. After talking to the DMV and Maddie he should have selected a box to renew the registration and provide me with a temp. Got a temp but it was only good to the day my registration expired. I had to call Maddie multiple times to get this taken care of before my registration expired. She told me she would push it through the DMV and send me a photo of the registration so I had it since my temp expired on 10/7. Still haven’t gotten that photo and it’s 10/9. Turns out paperwork wasn’t finalized for the loan services, I had to call Nate to find out none of my deal was scanned into their system, so the loan wasn’t funded. My buyout payment was processed about 3 days after my car payment was due so hopefully there’s nothing there that’s going to ding me. I feel like there was some serious details missed on my deal. It’s not like I was buying a $10k used car….i spend close to $30k on this and really and dissatisfied with the experience. Not sure I would recommend Bob Johnson to anyone that asks. ***update…it’s now a month since I bought the car and I still don’t have a registration sticker for the car. Trim around the headlights is once again pulling away from the grill and I’ve discovered yet another problem…the upper radiator support plastics are missing. I truly cannot believe this is how a $30,000 car is sold, and all I’ve gotten from the dealership is a response here stating “they’ll look into my concerns”. Thanks for nothing Bob Johnson Auto Group.

When we purchased this Equinox (12/14/2020 ID #3GNAXUEV1ML330533) we purchased the extended warranty (Zurich for $2,999) and were told by sales person it covered everything except wearable items (like tires, brakes ect.). It took over a year before Matthews cleared up that we even had the extended warranty. It was only cleared up because our daughter questioned them when she purchased her Subaru. We had also received a letter from GM Financial (3/18/21) that the sales contract and warranty were not handled correctly. We had oil change on 9/2/2025 and asked that they fix a senor in rear bumper. They said it was not covered as you have to replace the bumper and bumpers are not covered. This is just a way to avoid the expense of repairing a defect of the car that was not caused by any other actions from us. Using that logic removing any item not covered to get at a covered item would mean nothing is covered. Also at this visit we were told when checking out that they did not rotate tires as they left the best tires on the back for winter. A 2021 Equinox is front wheel drive unless you switch to all wheel drive The invoice (84835) clearly state they rotated tires. The tires were replaced 3/21/2025 and we had you do an 4-wheel alignment on 3/28/2025 at 55,907 miles (invoice #79270), they now have 63,411. I measured tires and they are the same. We have no idea if tires were rotated. At our first oil change (8/6/21) we asked that they check a tire that has been losing air from the day we purchased. They said they removed a nail and plugged but it never changed. I had my tire guy dismounted it, check valve and had remount and it corrected it. We didn't him to check for the plug and he didn't say anything about a plug. I have a real problem with how confusing your invoices are and how inconsistent they can be from one time to the next. I am going to start questing every time we go again IF EVER. I did your survey one or 2 years ago and was contacted about talking to them. I was not available at the time but sent an e-mail to the person who contacted me that I would be there on a set date for an oil change and would meet with them then but I never heard back from them. Overall we are well satisfied with the car but are very disappointed with Matthew and after talking with other it appears it is a very common opinion.
