Great Buying Experience - Nate-Dawg
My wife and I purchased a new Toyota Sienna from DARCARS Frederick on Memorial Day. It was our second time buying from this dealership and it was a great experience, just as the first one was a few years ago. We had already test-driven the vehicle and shopped around on price beforehand and found that DARCARS Frederick offered us the best price. Our salesperson was Brett Triplett, and we very much enjoyed working with him. Even though the dealership was very busy the day we were there, he took a good bit of time to talk with us and explain features of the vehicle as well as giving us a chance to take a final test-drive. He clearly wanted to make sure we were satisfied and got the specific vehicle with the color and options we wanted. He was laid back and friendly and not pushy at all, although it helped that we had already agreed on a price over email before coming into the dealership. Brett was also very quick and helpful in responding to a question I asked him the next day relating to information needed for insurance on the vehicle, so we appreciated the fact his customer service didn't end once he had made the sale. The finance manager we worked with was Jeff Gaskins, and the thing we appreciated most about him was that he was not pushy about trying to force us into buying an extended warranty and other extras that we did not want. He offered us all of those things but did not pressure us to buy them when we said no. (That was our biggest complaint from our previous purchase at this dealership a few years ago.) My only complaint about the whole buying process was that we spent a very long time waiting between finalizing the purchase details and meeting with the finance manager, but we recognize that it was a very busy sales day for the dealership and we appreciated that they provided us with lunch (Memorial Day cookout) while we were waiting. Overall, after two buying experiences, I have a very positive overall opinion of this dealership. They offer very competitive prices and their people offer great service and treat customers with integrity and respect. I'd definitely recommend this dealership to others.

Found the car I was interested in, but wanted to test drive two different models. They had both models ready to go when I arrived. After the test drive I decided on a Highlander as it was a better handling vehicle than the 4Runner. They did not have the color I wanted in the building, but they were able to snag one at another dealership in Virginia. I then had to wait a few days for delivery and they delivered to my house. bought our second car from Fitzgerald Lakeforest toyota a few months ago. I dealt with Pete Musumeci who was helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. He was also helpful AFTER the sale when i had to deal with the service dept. Unfortunately my service dept experience was not positive - i wasted half my day there to get a part installed only to find out that the part could not be installed on my model. You'd think they would have known that upfront right? I was offered nothing for my wasted time other than a "I'm sorry" & a handshake.
Also as an FYI- after the sale the salesman will take you to the finance dept to finish the transaction. I was offered a variety of service agreements & the chance to buy nitrogen for my tires. Nitrogen in the tires in a big scam unless you are professionally racing your car.

I recently purchased a CPO Volvo XC90 from Bill Kidd's. The whole buying experience was never before, very courteous, accommodating , friendly and knowledgeable sales staffs (previously I've had dreadful experience with other dealers). Thank God I came here. Debbie and particularly Wayne helped me through the trade-in process. The best part of trading-in my old Civic was "what's the value of your car and we'll match that". I mean which dealer would say like this. I don't regret for not negotiating on price for Volvo car, which is very stressful. Sadly I live almost an hour away from Bill Kidd's so I'll be going to a nearby Volvo dealer in Rockville, for regular servicing and other issues (hope they'd render same hoensty and courtesy). I'd certainly recommend Bill Kidd's to anyone shopping for Volvo cars.

Excellent buying experience with Stas Noskov of Russel Toyota. Starting from quite a few phone calls and email exchanges during the week prior to the purchase, Stas was very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. He provided all the requested information, including an on-the-road cost estimate, which was excellent. He helped us a lot also choosing the right trim for our family. All of that during the week prior to the purchase. We then came in during the weekend to make the final decision. We wanted a car of specific color which was not in stock. Stas arranged for that vehicle to be delivered from another dealership very quickly. He walked us through the seamless buying process and even went out for a bite with me while we were waiting for the paperwork and for the car to be detailed. He then personally helped me to drive both the new car and my old car back to my house since my family had to go back home earlier. All in all, an absolutely excellent experience with Stas and I would definitely recommend him to all my friends.
Best car buying experience yet - Satisfied
I stopped in after checking some vehicles on the Internet. I requested an availability on a couple of vehicles and received a response within minutes. I was then sent a 'boarding pass' to see Wayne if I could make it in without any pressure or expectation. It was great to know someone would know what I was interested in and available to talk with me if I were to come in. When I arrived, I was greeted and shown that Wayne was busy at the moment and asked if I could wait. A few minutes later Wayne greeted me and explained that he would be with me shortly. A few minute later I was asked which car I was interested in and it was retrieved while Wayne's wrapped up with his client. Wayne was very friendly and professional and explicated the vehicle and related models then qualified my needs. He then took the time to show me comparable models that were both less expensive and more expensive to make sure I knew the differences and which were more suited to my needs. After I made my choice, Wayne had the pricing and financing done within half an hour. Rick then handled the closure so that Wayne could help another customer that had returned. It was absolutely the smoothest car purchase I've experienced.

I don't do reviews, but this place deserves it!! I don't know where to start...I'm going to try to keep this sweet and short. I have the worst credit anyone can think of (well to me)...I have a bankruptcy that discharged a couple months go. Two cars on my bankruptcy and a high credit usage. I got shot down at one dealership, went to another...no go - shot down again. Third times a charm is a TRUE saying. Harald from Jim Cole Toyota called me and worked out the most amazing deal ever for me. He promised me that he will get me driving home in a car and he sure did. He doesn't play games, he got us IN AND OUT in no time!!! It was the fastest process ever!!! Harald is upfront and honest with you from point A to B. Larry our sales person was awesome to work with as well, him and my husband had a few laughs which was great. This was a very personable experience and I HIGHLY recommend Jim Coleman Toyota...ASK FOR HARALD and LARRY (I forgot his last name, sorry LARRY!!!) We will be coming back for our future cars!!!

Wow! Jamie was our sales lady- What a great lady and a great experience. I never thought spending that much money could be so fun! She was very friendly, -- I have to say I have NEVER been hugged by a car salesperson before! I liked it :-) -- and she helped us with a ton of questions about pricing. She even called a competitor and asked them about their pricing while we listened in. Turns out the other dealer was not very straight forward with me when I asked them the questions- Shocking, yes I know..... Jamie got it straightened out and exposed their nefarious scheme.

Airbag Recall No Problem - The Mad One
Big thanks to #SheenaColbert and her team at #JerrysToyota. I had the standard airbag recall, made an appointment, dropped off my truck Early Bird and picked it up when I was notified. It couldn't have been any simpler. My advice to you is to drop it off Early Bird or Late Night and go about your business. I hate waiting in line so I'm proactive when it comes to service. The general manager James was the perfect person for me to get this deal done. He definitely made this car buying experience the the best! Really good energy and has a playful approach which helped me relax. My sales person Keith was very nice and warm person who was down to earth and fun to talk to as well. He did a great job of keeping me calm. They were able to make miracles happen and I am so grateful. The first finance person I met with, Edgar, very nice and understanding. I did have a run in with the sales manager. He definitely needs a lesson in ask before you assume. And the finance person who closed my deal, nice, but a little cold. Not a very personable person. Unfortunately, our Camry was totalled last week. We drove 30 miles, bypassing our local dealership, to get to Waldorf Toyota.
We truly had the easiest car transaction ever!! And, we have likely bought 25 cars between us.
We just came to look and Dre, our salesperson, without pressure, showed us many different options, all at a great price, that we decided to buy today!
When our first choice model, with the color and options we wanted was not available, they gave us a discount for accepting our second choice. Dre was outstanding - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable!
We then went to see Erik in finance. That's when car sales usually are slow and full of pressure to buy add-ons.
Erik was very friendly and easy to work with. He offered and explained options, but did not pressure us. One of the options offered so much value, that we actually purchased it.
The financing was easy.and we were out of there in less than 45 minutes, I would say.
The entire transaction, from.walking onto the lot until driving away in our new camry, was 2 hours at most.
Tre even arranged to have the tags from our old camry turned into MVA and called for Enterprise to come pick up the rental that we drove to the dealership! True customer service, beyond our expectations!
The car was spotless and ready as soon as we got out of finance. Tre explained everything that we needed to know about the car.
It was the friendliest, low-pressure, knowledgable and easy to reach a deal dealership we have ever experienced, and we have lived all over the country.

New Review - Bummed Out
Last year, I bought a 2015 PriusV five at this dealership and was treated horribly. I wrote a scathing review. Today, I bought a 2016 RAV4 hybrid from this dealership, and was treated quite differently. The management said that the people who treated me so shabbily last year no longer work there.

I purchased my FJ Cruiser from Pohanka Toyota last month. It was a great experience!! Patrick Branon was wonderful. I told him what I wanted and needed in a vehicle. I wanted something I could go on the beach with, and a bit rugged for me and my dogs. He helped me pick out the perfect car, he didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. He was very easy and pleasant to work with. He knew all the features on the car and even set my Bluetooth. The manager Thurman gave me an Excellent deal. There was none of the usual back and forth business, he offered me a fare deal right out of the gate. The finance manager Rachel was very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. The process was less then 2 hours from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this dealerships!!

I was in the market for new car. Contacted Passport Toyota via car buying service. Had several communications with sales personnel and even though we did not buy from Passport Toyota, I was very impressed with their courtesy, patience and professionalism.

I had an appointment on 1016/2015 at 3:00 PM at Laurel Toyota for my brand new Toyota RAV IV and I arrived at around 3:22 PM as I was stuck in traffic on route I. I parked my truck and went to the counter and I was told that my vehicle can't be serviced as the staff has waited for 15 minutes and now they are gone. The customer services representative was very rude and has no respect for the customers and mentioned that she can't take my vehicle in. I requested her to ask the Customer Services manager but keep on insisting and she denied my service and I have to come back home without my vehicle being serviced. I won't recommend this dealership to any one. her name I guess was Critism wearing glasses.

I came to the service center on July 17, 2015 and told the advisor Mr. Larry Wynn that I need a wheel alignment because when you hit the break at 50 to 60 MPH the wheel shakes. They perform the service but the next day I tested the car on the highway and still shakes. It feels that they didn't do anything at all. I came back on July 20 to complain but Mr. Wynn told me that wheel alignment will not correct the problem. I was surprised with his comments. After they investigate my complaints they offered me to change my brakes and rotors for $500.00 and will refund the wheel alignment fee to correct the shaking of wheels. I said no and they just refunded my wheel alignment fee. After 2 days, I check my break and found out they ruin the 2 front wheel bolts. I came back to the service center and complain directly to the service manager Mr. Michael Whelan and the first he said to me is the bolt is rusted and his employee will not do it. He went to his employee to verify and came back. I told him that I need the 2 bolts with nuts and will just do it myself.
I will not allow any of his employees to touch my Toyota Sienna ever.
I am done with toyota car and their service center. What a nasty experience with Certified Toyota Service Center.
