Toyota 4Runner - My4Runner
I was looking for a new Toyota 4Runner for my family needs. Darcars Toyota has the best competitive price and excellent customer service I have experienced around (DC, VA, MD). From Sale Representative to Manager you name it. They are there to help you and provide you with the service beyond your expectation.
At first, I was negotiating 4Runner with two rows and found out in the last minute my wife wants three rows, but the deal is done (all documentations are completed). All I need to do is get on and drive home. However, Darcars folks reconsidered and redo all the documentations for three rows Toyota 4Runner. They all put up and concentrated with their customer needs. If I were them, I might have said, the deal is done or Sorry. This is part of my buying experiences and there are more to it.
If you plan to buy a new or certified used vehicle, I am sure you will not regret if you stop by Darcars Toyota and check with Ernie Kunz and his team (All of them).

I had a very good experience at this dealership buying a new Toyota 2016 Toyota Prius. I used True Car to get quotations from local dealerships. Theirs was not the lowest quotation for my Prius 4 Touring model, but they matched the low quote. The also fairly negotiated with me to give me a higher value on the trade in, rather than waiving another fee of the same amount, as I wanted them to do. The salesman, Chris Sherman, was very helpful on the test drive explaining various features of the car and taking a route that I wanted to take. They searched for the color I wanted in the trim I wanted and found it. There was a delay of a few days because the car was at the Port of Baltimore and then was to be taken to a dealership in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Chris Sherman, the salesman, drove all the way to Tysons Corner to pick up the car for me to avoid any further delay in getting the car, for which I was most grateful. Their financing person, Sean Lockear, found extremely low financing for me, even lower than the 1.99 loan I brought to the dealership. Finally, Chris Sherman spent a few minutes a week later explaining how to work a couple of the features I could not figure out. All in all, a very good experience for car buying through a dealership, even for a single woman.

We needed a Maryland state safety inspection in order to transfer our RAV4 to our daughter who had recently moved to the Annapolis area. After a bad experience with another Toyota dealer who kept recommending expensive and unnecessary repairs, we went to Brown's. Brittany explained the inspection process and what the state required and then expedited it as much as possible. She was very nice to deal with and since we had been on the road all morning, she offered to have their courtesy car drive us to a nearby restaurant. We were quite comfortable in their waiting area and before we knew it the car was ready. We've had great experiences with our Toyota dealer here in Pennsylvania for the last decade, and are happy to have found Brown's for our daughter in Glen Burnie. Thank you, Brittany!

I recently purchased a CPO Volvo XC90 from Bill Kidd's. The whole buying experience was never before, very courteous, accommodating , friendly and knowledgeable sales staffs (previously I've had dreadful experience with other dealers). Thank God I came here. Debbie and particularly Wayne helped me through the trade-in process. The best part of trading-in my old Civic was "what's the value of your car and we'll match that". I mean which dealer would say like this. I don't regret for not negotiating on price for Volvo car, which is very stressful. Sadly I live almost an hour away from Bill Kidd's so I'll be going to a nearby Volvo dealer in Rockville, for regular servicing and other issues (hope they'd render same hoensty and courtesy). I'd certainly recommend Bill Kidd's to anyone shopping for Volvo cars.

Koons Loyalty to Customers - BillB
I was having my Volvo serviced at Koons Ownings Mills and spoke to the Assistant Service Manager, Bruce Silvers about trading two of my cars in on a 2017 Takoma Truck and asked if Koons Toyota would be interested. Within an hour, I received a call from Mr. George Thompson, New Car Sales Manager at Koons Toyota Westminster. George was formally with Koons Volvo and remembered selling me three Volvos in years past. I asked George to give me his best deal and reminded him I have been with Koons for 20 years.
Bottom line: I bought the truck. Trade in values were higher than I expected, the service was exceptional, salesman Brooks Hoffman outstanding! Kudos to Bruce, George and Brooks for exceeding all expectations. They are the reason why I am totally loyal to the entire Koons organization.

I just bought a 2015 Scion Tc from Dan Manzari yesterday after a week or so of bugging him about it. Not only was he flexible, knowledgable, and friendly, but when it was time to actually talk numbers he had the right answers and made the deal quick and non-stressful. After visiting multiple locations in the Montgomery Country area, I was relieved to finally find Jose. Although the DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring location is VERY busy and chaotic, Jose remained calm and friendly the whole time. He helped to understand my situation, and get me what I needed in a timely fashion (one day turnaround). I would highly recommend working with him for your service needs. I will be going back to see him again.

Wow! Jamie was our sales lady- What a great lady and a great experience. I never thought spending that much money could be so fun! She was very friendly, -- I have to say I have NEVER been hugged by a car salesperson before! I liked it :-) -- and she helped us with a ton of questions about pricing. She even called a competitor and asked them about their pricing while we listened in. Turns out the other dealer was not very straight forward with me when I asked them the questions- Shocking, yes I know..... Jamie got it straightened out and exposed their nefarious scheme.
Believe it or not, I was drawn to your dealership due in no small part to the great service I got in the service department. I have a Toyota truck that had a recall for rust and the experience there was phenomenal- Have I mentioned "wow" yet?...so I decided to see about buying a car from you. In a word: WOW. Ronnie has been my guy almost every time my family or I have been there to get our cars looked at. He's always incredibly patient in answering my questions and going above and beyond to make sure that I'm not getting more taken out of my pocket than need be. Just recently, I needed to take my car in and when I needed a rental car, he offered to pay for it himself so I wouldn't have to deal with that on top of the maintenance I was going to need to pay for on my car. I didn't end up needing the rental, but it did mean a lot to have someone at 355 I feel like I can count on. He is a fantastic person to work with and actually makes getting my car fixed an enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately, our Camry was totalled last week. We drove 30 miles, bypassing our local dealership, to get to Waldorf Toyota.
We truly had the easiest car transaction ever!! And, we have likely bought 25 cars between us.
We just came to look and Dre, our salesperson, without pressure, showed us many different options, all at a great price, that we decided to buy today!
When our first choice model, with the color and options we wanted was not available, they gave us a discount for accepting our second choice. Dre was outstanding - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable!
We then went to see Erik in finance. That's when car sales usually are slow and full of pressure to buy add-ons.
Erik was very friendly and easy to work with. He offered and explained options, but did not pressure us. One of the options offered so much value, that we actually purchased it.
The financing was easy.and we were out of there in less than 45 minutes, I would say.
The entire transaction, from.walking onto the lot until driving away in our new camry, was 2 hours at most.
Tre even arranged to have the tags from our old camry turned into MVA and called for Enterprise to come pick up the rental that we drove to the dealership! True customer service, beyond our expectations!
The car was spotless and ready as soon as we got out of finance. Tre explained everything that we needed to know about the car.
It was the friendliest, low-pressure, knowledgable and easy to reach a deal dealership we have ever experienced, and we have lived all over the country.

I knew what I wanted when I walked in the showroom. Jerry Flores was very helpful. He answered all my questions and was very pleasant when I asked to drive a few models. I found the car I wanted, but didn't want to spend all that time doing paperwork at 7:30 p.m. I said I would be back the next day and I was not pressured to stay and complete the paperwork or told that the price we agreed on was only good for that evening.
I went back the next afternoon, completed the paperwork and left a happy customer. Thanks, Jerry...it was a pleasure working with you.

I purchased my FJ Cruiser from Pohanka Toyota last month. It was a great experience!! Patrick Branon was wonderful. I told him what I wanted and needed in a vehicle. I wanted something I could go on the beach with, and a bit rugged for me and my dogs. He helped me pick out the perfect car, he didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. He was very easy and pleasant to work with. He knew all the features on the car and even set my Bluetooth. The manager Thurman gave me an Excellent deal. There was none of the usual back and forth business, he offered me a fare deal right out of the gate. The finance manager Rachel was very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. The process was less then 2 hours from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this dealerships!!
Poor planning - Disappointed
Made a service appointment for oil change. Check vehicle in 15 prior to appt time. 1.5 hours later vehicle not yet in. Told that they over booked. Asked for key and left. Will go to another dealer. Unacceptable.

I came to the service center on July 17, 2015 and told the advisor Mr. Larry Wynn that I need a wheel alignment because when you hit the break at 50 to 60 MPH the wheel shakes. They perform the service but the next day I tested the car on the highway and still shakes. It feels that they didn't do anything at all. I came back on July 20 to complain but Mr. Wynn told me that wheel alignment will not correct the problem. I was surprised with his comments. After they investigate my complaints they offered me to change my brakes and rotors for $500.00 and will refund the wheel alignment fee to correct the shaking of wheels. I said no and they just refunded my wheel alignment fee. After 2 days, I check my break and found out they ruin the 2 front wheel bolts. I came back to the service center and complain directly to the service manager Mr. Michael Whelan and the first he said to me is the bolt is rusted and his employee will not do it. He went to his employee to verify and came back. I told him that I need the 2 bolts with nuts and will just do it myself.
I will not allow any of his employees to touch my Toyota Sienna ever.
I am done with toyota car and their service center. What a nasty experience with Certified Toyota Service Center.

I had an appointment on 1016/2015 at 3:00 PM at Laurel Toyota for my brand new Toyota RAV IV and I arrived at around 3:22 PM as I was stuck in traffic on route I. I parked my truck and went to the counter and I was told that my vehicle can't be serviced as the staff has waited for 15 minutes and now they are gone. The customer services representative was very rude and has no respect for the customers and mentioned that she can't take my vehicle in. I requested her to ask the Customer Services manager but keep on insisting and she denied my service and I have to come back home without my vehicle being serviced. I won't recommend this dealership to any one. her name I guess was Critism wearing glasses.
