Toyota of Bowie - Satisfied Senior
Recently, Toyota of Bowie technician(s) repaired my car. Although I arrived earlier than scheduled, I was received warmly and efficiently. My repair was one that required same day fixing, otherwise, I couldn't start my car. Also, I had a time constraint with respect to getting my car back because of an important previous commitment.
I am pleased to report that Toyota of Bowie repaired my car and it was available well within my time constraint so that I was able to meet my commitment. I have used Toyota of Bowie service for years and have always been impressed by the overall professionalism of all that I have come in contact with, including the shuttle drivers. I am happy to refer friends and family to them.

More and more you see so many companies where customer service is lacking. But I can honestly say that Koons Toyota in Annapolis still believes in it.
We just purchased a new 4Runner and had some extras added. When we dropped the vehicle off to get them put on, we expected it to be done within a day. 3 days later, and after several calls and delays the service dept. said it was finally ready, only to find out when we arrived to pick it up, that it was not completed.
I spoke with the General Sales Mgr. Suheil Katan to explain my dissatisfaction. He immediately took care of the situation and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care.
Thank you Mr. Katan for keeping customer service a priority.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mr. Diego Angel and Mr. Jason Vaughn at DARCARS located in Frederick, Maryland. The bottom line is clear... where other dealerships failed to provide adequate, precise and fast communication via email and phone, DARCARS of Frederick simply excelled and greatly exceeded expectations. When I asked Mr. Angel for underside pictures of the vehicle I was interested in, I was pleasantly surprised that he had taken the extra time to put the vehicle on a lift and take very detailed pictures which left zero doubt in my mind regarding the vehicle's underside condition. Mr. Angel and Mr. Vaughn were also quick to realize I was a serious buyer and due to my distance away we were able understand and establish each others expectations that paved the way for an eventual hassle free purchase at the end of the day. The critical take away from this positive experience is that DARCARS and their professional personnel stand behind what they sell, period. I came in to get a replacement mirror installed on my car. There were issues with shipment and it didn't get done until a few days after it was supposed to. Shahram Javan worked with me once it finally arrived and made sure that it was completely taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else for maintenance and situations like this.

Hans even showed my daughter how to sync her phone to the car. Thanks Hans. Hans also gave us $5.00 to get gas during test drive,. Sorry Hans we forgot to get a receipt. I have had nothing but issues with Pohanka from the beginning. When I made the decision to buy my 2015 Toyota Carolla, the dealer who was selling me the car said "just between us girls, why don't you look at this other car". I was annoyed but kindly told him no thank you. After I went through the purchasing process, I was ready to leave and noticed that there was no license plate on the front of the car. The dealer told me that MD has a new law that if there is no bracket, there is no need to put one on the car. Two days later, I was cruising with my two boys (4 and 1 at the time) and I was pulled over by the police for not having my plate on the front of my car (strike 1). Months later, I get a notice in the mail that the bank was going to put a lien on my car because Pohanka did not put them as the loan holder on the title (strike 2). On Saturday, I took my car in to get an oil change. I was irritated that they did a tire rotation without asking me and then charged me for it anyway. On top of that they had a laundry list of random things that they "recommend" me have done. I declined everything but an air filter and the oil change (but still not mention of rotating my tires). The next day when I drove my son to the doctors, my wheels were vibrating so badly I couldn't hear him talking to me from my back seat. So, I took it back in and asked them to take a look. After waiting an hour, I was told that essentially I needed four new tires. I was furious! I explained that my car wasn't doing that when I brought it in and it had to be something they did to make the tires vibrate like they were and that I was absolutely NOT going to buy four new tires. He told me that they would put the tires back the way they were before they touched them on Saturday. I allowed them to do it even though in the back of my mind I didn't know what difference it would make if they were SO bad! When he came out to give me my keys I asked him if he was going to refund my money from the original rotation, since I didn't ask for it to be done. He smiled and told me that he had to charge me and that I was lucky he wasn't charging me for the "unrotation". I couldn't believe what he was saying and at this point I had, had enough. I said "Well, that certainly is nice of you....but I won't be coming back!"
My suggestion, don't buy from them and don't go to their service department. They will find any way to rip you off!
Oil. Change - Dreamiesue
Pull up to the service dept door, set there for about 10 min 4 men in there never made eye contact or ask us to move forward, as we set there cars pull ahead and went in the building. Not sure what to do we moved up and ask what to do at that point some tall unprofessional man said move ahead and walk away. We have brought 2 new car here in the last 2 years, something like this will make me go elsewhere a great service dept keep people coming back. When we went into counter a very nice person tried to make thing better
Deceptive Cross Selling instead of attending to recall issue - Abie20770
I brought my Toyota Corolla in response to a safety recall. I did NOT request any additional service. Nor did I report any problem with the vehicle. Mr Lee Tensley who attended on me came to after a wait of two hours to say that the headlights needed cleaning, (a second issue that I do not recall), and third in order, an oil leak. As I was to drive 500 miles to Canada the next day I was blackmailed into agreeing to have the reported oil leak fixed. I was charged $337.92 for this service. Although I requested the cashier at the time of payment, I was not given the estimates that Mr Tensley had brandished before me. I was given only the bill. Not even the inspection report. On closely looking at the bill today, I was astonished to find that it stated an untruth: " customer states the timing chain tensioner is leaking please check and advice." This is a total falsehood. I did not make any such request. I am not an automobile mechanic. It is inconceivable that I would have reported this problem. It is clear from the order of the three repairs Mr Tensley suggested, that it was just a way to hoodwink the customer into paying for unnecessary and unwanted repairs. This sort of cross-selling to customers who came solely in response to the safety recall is UNETHICAL. It is nothing short of blackmail. The statement on the bill attributing a request to me is a complete fabrication. This kind of cross-selling under deception is illegal and I demand a full refund.

Very unprofessional have something missing from my car. Was treated as if i was lying about the property missing. No one even concidered i was telling the true.
