At the end of my 24 month service appointment, I was given a packet with recommended services and an explanation of the effect of heat on vehicle fluids. The packet stated that differential fluid changes should be performed at 18 months or 18,000 miles whichever comes first regardless of mileage (due to the effect of intense AZ heat on fluids). When I asked my service advisor why I wasn't told about the fluid change at my 18 month appointment, she became defensive, condescending and hung up on me when I asked to see a service manager. I will not be returning to this dealership.

Great way to buy a car.....we are very happy with our purchase! No haggling and a simple process. The car was detailed nicely and the salespeople were friendly, "no pressure". Going forward, it would be beneficial if they had an employee that specialized in electric cars as there is a learning curve here. We ended up taking our car to Tesla so that they could explain a lot to us. I would definitely recommend CarMax to others as the experience was great!

Finance manager and finance director VIOLATED UDAAP - steezbr

Finance manager and finance director VIOLATED UDAAP (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices), which includes an additional element of "abusive" practices. They said VTR (car theft) is mandatory and obligated on all cars and would not remove from contract. We believed them and signed. After reviewing singed paper for the VTR we noticed they added VRG an additional theft protection! Both VTR & VRGs contract paper stated in bold lettering: "its NOT a requirement for the purchase or financing of a covered vehicle". At minimum the finance director agreed to the violation of UDAAP by confirming that his finance manager added extra charges to original agreement and refunded part of it. We feel scammed and defrauded! Not okay!
