I am at the end of my current Forester lease and sat down... - Darlene Neid
I am at the end of my current Forester lease and sat down with Dan to decide whether to lease a new Forester or purchase my 2018 - with 14,508 miles on it. I was curious to see a 2021 Forester and perhaps drive it. Dan arranged a car for me to test drive, depending on my decision. I think he sensed my dilemma, especially after I sat in the driver's seat and assessed the changes between my current auto and the new model. I have some limiting factors, being garage fit, and the new model is longer and wider, with a higher hood making it difficult to gauge the front bumper location. All of the above really cooled my enthusiasm for a 2021 and Dan offered to "run the numbers" to purchase my current lease and price future maintenance and repair costs. In my opinion, Dan went far above what I expected and outlined all future costs. He was so gracious and straightforward and helped me make the decision to stay with "the car that brought me." I now can comfortably decide and make arrangements to go forward.
This gentleman is superb at his job!!!
Kudos to the service department - with my low mileage, the Forester certainly does not fit the Subaru service schedule in either mileage or elapsed lease term. I have not only leased two Foresters, but also have depended upon the service department to maintain all warranty requirements. Thanks to all.

I met Devon a little over 4 years ago when I had a 2013 Forester. He was kind from the very first moment that he became what I considered my personal service manager. I purchased a 2019 Forester touring about 9 months ago so I will not need service as often. I will miss seeing him and I want to reccomend him as a wonderfully kind person who is always willing to go out of his way to help this senior.

Service reps have kept me informed of progress made in required repairs, provided
estimates of when work would be completed, and explained warranty and price options available for a new battery that would be required.
Installation of new radio and touch up paint scrapes. - Jan
We received a wonderful response to our radio issues. Excellent and timely service on our Pacifica.
Also had touch up on parking lot scrapes which are now impossible to detect.
All service and office workers were very cordial. Felt right at home!!!
Service department - woodsky
Rude and unapologetic staff. Not the way you want to be treated right after buying a new car from them. I don't want to here "It's not our problem".
Bad first experience - Cootmagoot
May 14th we had a recall done on our subaru legacy. From the minute we walked in service department we were not even acknowledged. An airbag was replaced but did not mention a bad airbag sensor which left airbag light on still with no explanation. So from experience I would not recommend anyone to this department.

Most helpful service - Satisfied User
Alan Copeland has always gone above and beyond to be helpful and professional in all my dealings with the service center . I have done comparisons with near by Subaru dealers they are never nearly as reasonable nor as helpful .

This is one worst customer service experiences. I’ve had. I took my key in for a chip reprogramming, within a month the key no longer worked rendering my car inoperable. Service manager and even general we both unwilling to offer any customer satisfaction. The only thing they would do is charge me full price to fix it again.
Beware Subaru travelers - Subaru Traveler
BEWARE TRAVELERS if you have to stop by the Grand Junction Subaru! You definitely will not get the same service as a local. You don't live in the area, so why would Grand Junction care if the treatment and attention you receive is subpar.
I was greeted with enthusiasm by Lisa Chick, but that was the last time I heard or saw my service rep. I did immediately receive a text that she would be sending me updates, which never happened. In addition, I was never even told my car was ready! After noticing all the other service reps coming into the waiting room to notify their customers about their cars, customers who had arrived after I did, I went to check on my car. The keys and paperwork were sitting on her desk and she was nowhere to be found. No telling how long they had been sitting there. Another service rep had me sign the papers without going over anything, or even telling me where my car was. I had to ask.
As far as the service, it appears to have been okay. I was having an oil change and tire rotation. I did realize later on, though, they did not fill up my windshield wiper fluid.
I have called and texted to complain several times, and have received no response from Lisa Chick to this day. (In my opinion, she should be fired.) Ironically, I received a text from the same number but a different person a few days after my service, hoping my experience was "exceptional." Obviously, my earlier complaint texted to the same number was not read. It appears everything is a recording and there is actually no customer service. Only when I sent a text stating that Corporate Office might be interested in my complaint, did I get a response, specifically a reply text that this issue would be shared with the service manager immediately.
No effort to contact me ever occurred until I complained to the Corporate Office. Then I received some calls, but I was camping and had no reception. I later called to speak to the owner, Ron, but he was out of town? I did finally reach him and he said he would call back within the hour. That was 17 days ago. My service was done in late June.
The Corporate Office does have a ticket on my complaint, but even so, I am not satisfied with the results. So Subaru travelers, if you absolutely have to use Subaru Grand Junction, BEWARE!
Went for recall on airbag, changed oil and charged my wife - SWB1
Dropped car off for a airbag recall. Groove said this a “no charge” service. My wife picked up, and they had changed oil and charged her $65, without calling or asking. Previously, wife dropped and they recommended tires at 20K miles..... she agreed..... Ripped off, not needed! Stay away form this for Subaru service.
They texted me and asked “how was service”. I responded it “sucked” and explained why. They never responded.
