I will never shop at any other dealership hands down. I generally dislike car dealerships but my expirience at Akins was how all dealerships should be run. There were no games and they were honest and strait with me. I was prepared for all the games and was very skeptical until I drove away that this was too good to be true. Even on the phone before I showed up they told me exactly the cost of the van I purchased down to the dollar and exactly what taxes and one or two required fees were. It seemed unlikely but it was real. I will never buy a car anywhere else no matter where we live.

Joey, my Service advisor was so awesome. He kept in contact with me about my experience with the dealership and every step of what was going on with my auto repairs. He did all the foot work with my aftermarket warranty company and saved me thousands in cost . I can’t say thank you enough to this man. Received the Silverado back after a transmission replacement and other services & Joey called me said the truck was ready for pick up but he wouldn’t be there that day so that told me he did this on his personal time . Now I ask who does that anymore ? I can tell you Joey does. He stated the truck was tested and runs like a dream . When I picked it up another gentleman took care of me who was also very nice. He had my truck pulled up to the door and the A/C cooled down in the truck before I stepped into it. Can’t say enough about this Dealerships Service department. An unexpected breakdown on a 500+ mile road trip turned into the BEST customer service experience. Headed North for wedding, our tire unexpectedly burst just before the Ringgold exit and we coasted on a rim and a prayer into Walter Jackson Chevrolet. The service manager, Marty, explained that he didn’t have a tire in stock that would fit the bill, but he promptly hopped on the phone to North Georgia Tire to find me one. In the mean time, a kind, dog-loving sales person – Todd Ingle – took pity on my family, including my son and my dog, waiting outside in the 90 degree Georgia sun and invited them into the showroom to cool off while we sorted things out. A dog! In the showroom! The team at Walter Jackson went out of their way, driving me and my flat tire all the way to North Georgia Tire to find a suitable used tire, then back to the dealership. The service department installed the tire I bought at North Georgia, and sent us on our journey with best wishes and refusal to take payment, tips, or anything at all but a thank you. This team of folks truly made a difference in our lives, and we could not be more grateful. Our next car purchase will come from them (even though we live nowhere near there), and yours should too. What amazing, wonderful, caring folks. Thank you Danny, Marty, Todd, and everyone else who wished us well and made sure we left town safely!!!

I thought the service and the vehicle were subpar. The salesperson, Nabin Magar, when asked about whether or not the vehicle came with a garage opener, he claimed it did and said all we had to do was program it with our remote. The problem was that particular vehicle didn't come with a garage door opener, which he could have checked online, with a more seasoned associate, or his manager. The remedy to the situation was less than 300.00 and that includes installation. 3 days after I brought the car the left tire blew. When I asked about chevy covering the cost of the tire, Nabin informed me that his manager said chevy WILL NOT cover it and that cost will be on me as the buyer. Now , this is a 2027 equinox with less than 100 mi on it. Which means chevy buys inferior tires. Tires are essential to road safety which is paramount when driving. Substandard salesperson. Low-grade product. Please don't waste your money at chevy
