Made the car buying process extremely easy and had great customer service. This was our second car purchased from Ray Skillman GMC. Leah was the representative who helped us. We were able to drive the car home to make sure we liked it, we then went over the entire car to see any issues we wanted to get replaced or repaired. Everything was done quickly and when it was time to go in and pay for the vehicle and take possession everything was all planned out and we were in and out super fast. Will buy here again.

A salesman who doesn't know what a radiator is tried to sell me the car I drove to the dealership and took the time to research for $1,000 more than the listing price. The car didn't even idle and wanted to die, this was "factored in" on the price according to their manager. Top-down incapable of doing good business. Do not go here, it is the classic old car dealership tactics and they should die out like the dinosaurs they are.

The car buying experience was great! The car - a lemon. I bought a used car, everything worked great until 3 days later and the transmission started acting up. They did get it serviced, but something is still not right. ABS light came on 8 days later. I talked to the sales person, the sales manager, and anyone else who would listen to try to take the car back and cancel the financing. Nope. "Once it's off the lot, we're no longer responsible." A dealer should stand behind their cars, even used, for at least a week. Buyer Beware!

I never like to leave a bad review for a company, this is the exception. I bought a family vehicle at the fuson dealership here in Terre Haute last week. I have had to take it in twice for repairs during the first week and now I’ve had to get it towed back to the dealership. They will not get it running for me without giving another $700. The owner was completely rude and didn’t care that I bought the vehicle from him just a week ago. I feel so discouraged and taken advantage of. Please don’t ever buy from this dealership. Their service department is horrible and they will screw you over anyway that they possibly can.

Dealer sold my daughter a 2012 Chevy Equinox with 4 cylinder engine. Car had 78000 miles on it. The check engine light came on after 2 days. She took it to the dealers service dept and was told it was a catalytic converter. They ordered the part. A week passed and she call them back and advised the car was running rough and was out of oil. Was told that was normal for a car with a bad catalytic converter. Engine blew up a few days later. Come to find out this car is involved in a class action lawsuit for engine failure that has been approved by a judge. I asked the manager, he was aware of the suit. Cant believe they sell a car with known problems with out disclosure. Service dept also failed to identify the correct issue and did not provide the correct information to keep the car running. The engine's timing chain broke and destroyed the engine. Manager wanted to charge my daughter $8700 for the repair. After a lengthy discussion with the manager he did drop the charge to $3700. This is not good enough, taking no responsibility of selling bad cars. Wrote Gregg Young himself, was told that dealer policies would not allow any further concessions. Do not buy from this dealer!

We stayed past closing hours and he did not complain staying late and was ver accommodating. Bobby Likens our finance guy was also very pleasant and explained each form to us. When we picked up our car. Marco helped transfer everything out from our old car to our new car. I love the team work everyone displayed. Awesome job!

I have a 2009 Pontiac G6 that was having (what I thought) was a transmission related issue and I had a recall that needed taken care of as well. I did research on any possible recalls that could possibly be related to my new problem and found what I thought might be a possible match and had my car towed into McGonigal’s. They checked my car out that day and confirmed that it was in fact an older recall and had both recalls fixed within a day. Everyone that I either talked to on the phone or in person were very welcoming & nice not just to me but to all of the customers that were in the service area. I witnessed nothing less than smiles and happy customers and staff that treated every customer like an old friend! I have been a customer with McGonigal’s for a long time and have never left there without a smile or satisfaction.
Thank you HG McGonigal’s for being true to ALL of your customers! You’re tops on my list and I will be back weather it be for service or another car!
