I was looking for a safe and used vehicle for my teenage daughter who had recently received her driver's license. We passed on several potential vehicles over about six weeks, holding out for that perfect fit. We worked with Tommy Reed who never lost patience with us and continued to search for that perfect car for six weeks. I was cautioned there may be a long wait and offered a ride home. I declined, figuring I needed a change of scenery anyhow. The Waiting Room had fresh coffee and Fox News on the TV (literally the only live programming I watch). So, I was comfortable. An employee stopped in to get coffee and chatted with me for a few. To my surprise, almost exactly one hour later, my vehicle was done and I was out the door! The Manager (I'm guessing) that checked me in is the same person that gave me the final report which was thorough. Everyone was very friendly. It was my first time there. I'll definitely make Harbor Buick GMC my preferred dealership.

My wife and I went in to Puchase a used Buick Encore. Our salesman, Jonathan, was great, he was courteous and friendly.
But once we got to the finance office is were the deal fell apart. The vehicle we wanted was 13,989.00 We ask for a payment around 300.00 for 60 months. They said the best they could do was 420.00 for 72 months. I ask the interest rate he told me 22%, but that price also included a 2 yr extended warranty and gap insurance, neither one, of which I ask for. I told them, i did not want the warranty! He said he would remove it and told me my new payment would be 350.18 a month, that's when I lost it. You see, although the payment is 70.00 less per month. That means, this dealer was charging me $5060.00 for a 2 ry warranty. That comes out to 40% of the total value of the car. I didn't even bother to ask about the gap insurance. I got up and walked out the dealership what they tried to do to us, was a complete scam/ripoff.. Please beware and ask to see ALL the number before you sign.

The salesman communicated with me until my father came in. I was the one buying the car, not my dad. It was too hard to get a word in so I gave up and just let the 2 men make the deal. My only other option would have been to walk out or make a big scene. That was a year ago. I got their lifetime warranty and have been having it serviced there. There have been numerous problems and a general attitude of indifference he entire time. When they make a mistake they do as little as they can to pacify. If you want a dealer who goes the extrai mile for their customers don't go there.
