Worst experience ever. Lack of communication between dealers in coralville and Hiawatha. Making decisions they should talk to the customer about before doing so. Spent 90% of my day waiting for updates that I had to make calls for. Didn’t realize it took 8 hours to change a starter that they didn’t have in stock. Makes you feel unappreciated as a customer.

Absolutely the worst experience! I talked with Rick Miller and inquired about an F150 and told him I would be out that day late or the next day. He put me on hold and when he returned said he grabbed the key. We drove out there the next morning intending to purchase the truck and was told upon arrival that they had sold this vehicle the night before. Rick Miller should have had the decently to give me a courtesy phone call before we made the 40-mile round trip. Apparently, this happened to people in the past. Seems to be a lack of common courtesy and professionalism. Rick Miller would not even take the time to come out of his office to explain. I will never recommend Van Horn Auto to any friends or family and will continue to tell my story to all that will listen!

My first time at the dealership was great. They had the truck i wanted at a good fair price. the couple of issues i had with the truck were taken care of as promised. I found that to be unusual in itself. The owner as well as Dewey the salesman could not have been more helpful. I would recommend this dealership over any other of the larger ones. At Ron Alpin Ford I didn't feel like i was being held captive trying to get my keys back so I could leave. You know what I'm talking about. The high pressure salesman trying to wear you down so you give up and say yes I'll take it. From start to finish it was a refreshing experience. I am a customer for life.

We worked with Jason Besch on purchasing our vehicle. He did all the leg work for us! We told him exactly what we wanted and he sent us several choices within the first 2 weeks. We choose the one we liked, he picked it up, got it cleaned up and ready for us, and the pickup of our vehicle was smooth and quick! Maybe spent half an hour at pickup. After the sale we asked him to get us Weather Tech Matt's for it, which he did in a couple days, and he installed them for me when I went to get them. About 2 weeks later we got a couple small screws in a tire, took it in, and James Montag fixed the tire for us at no charge! We have been nothing but happy with the sale and service of our new Edge and West Bend Ford!
