Comfortable relaxing dealership. Mike Dunn was very Kind, courteous, respectful, intentive, not sales pushy. Mike listened to my needs and concerns. He knew what would be in my best interest and let me make my own choice. I never felt pushed to buy more than I needed or couldn't afford. The, overall, sales process took a couple of hours. Both Mike and Business Manager, Joe Hobson were relaxed and didn't speak over me or way too fast. They both took their time with me. Made sure to answer all of my questions. Made sure I understood everything. Because of them I, now, have a beautiful car at an affordable price. I will send my friends and family to meet with Mike in the future. I was looking to trade my 2012 Explorer and I spoke with Scott in the service dept. while having my oil changed. He told me that they had a used one on the lot. I spoke to Mark Weinbrenner and he told me about a 2016 that I liked and said I would talk to my husband. When I got back to Mark it was gone. He looked for 2 weeks and finally found what I was looking for. He went above and beyond in helping me get what I was looking for. When I lived in Mississippi and California and brought a vehicle in even for a minor repair or a pm service, it would be washed prior to me picking up the car. The last three times I was at Jensen the car was not cleaned, even if just the windows.

2012 Ford F150 3.5 EcoBoost Motor Replacement - diedrichjohn
So let me start ... I purchased my 2012 F150 EcoBoost Platinum from Lynch Ford in Mt. Vernon, IA in October of 2012 with good results. The reason I went to Lynch Ford was the fact that the dealership sold both Chevrolet and Ford. We purposely went there because we currently owned a Chevrolet Tahoe but were looking to purchase a new pickup and wanted to compare the two brands. We ended up purchasing our Demo 2012 F150 and definately understood why we purchased the Ford truck. It had everything we could ask for, from the power, roominess, and overall quality. We also purchased the EXP Ford extended 6 year warranty based on the fact that we were planning to keep the truck 10+, and on the Platinum model.... there are a lot of electronics.
Moving forward to Oct. '18... 6 days after my extended warrant expired. On the way home from work my 3.5 EcoBoost engine with 63,376 miles started to knock and with no "service engine lights" I pulled over and shut the truck off. After being towed to the Lynch Ford dealership the description of the problem found the rod bearing had spun on the cranksaft causing metal debris to be throughout the engine assembly.
We then worked with Jeff Krogman the "Service Manager" and also requested Dan Lynch "President" to be involved in the preliminary discussions of the motor failure. After confirming the motor failure causes, Jeff had to contact the Ford factory to determine if the company would help provide compensation. After a couple of days Jeff contacted us and said Ford would provide compensation based on the facts that we had always had our truck serviced (oil changes) at a Ford dealership as well as having purchased the Ford EXP plan and considered us a "Loyal Ford Customer".
Lynch Ford provided us a "Loaner" vehicle at "no charge" once the decision was made to replace the motor. A new 3.5 EcoBoost motor with two new turbo's was installed a few days later. Four weeks to the day of our motor failure, we got our truck back from Lynch Ford. The truck was washed and detailed inside, I inspected the truck to make sure there wasn't any blemishes that weren't there prior to the motor work. The shop did a great job removing and re-installing the motor. Jeff explained all the details of the work that was completed and itemized the overall costs. The bill was actually $230.00 under the quoted price!
I am disappointed that "The Ford Motor Company" did not cover the entire cost of the motor (35%) of the overall cost. This based on some internet information from other 3.5 EcoBoost Customers that have responded with very similar failures. But until there is a official recall of this motor we have to be "thankful" that Ford, and Dan Lynch Ford was willing to still provide compensation for this issue, and even though my warranty had expired. I feel Lynch Ford (Dan) did what he could to keep us as a satisfied customer.
My new motor came with a 3 year/unlimited milage warranty..... I plan to run the wheels off this truck because I still like the truck!!

I just purchased my 2018 F150 from Brad Deery Ford and had a great experience. I live in Madison so most of my communication was over email and phone which went surprisingly well. Even valuation of my trade. Their pricing beat multiple deals I had from other dealers in WI and IL. The only complaints I have were with installation of the extras I added. The bed cover was not installed very good and the wheel well liners still had all labels adhered which were difficult to remove. I will definately check them out for future purchases.

I've been a satisfied customer of Brown's in Elkader for years; since 1993. If you're absolutely in love with your current dealer do yourself a favor and get your best deal, then go to Brown's. I don't care what your vehicle situation is; at the very least go there for any repairs or service needs. They go out of their way to accommodate you. Friendly staff and comfortable waiting area. Plus they give you updates as to where they are on your vehicle's progress.

Unable to Fix Endgate after 4 Years - Ba2552
I have had a mixed bag of results when working with the service department some good and a few bad. This review is on my wife's 2013 Ford Escape purchased at this dealership. My Wife loves the vehicle except for the fact after the first year the back endgate randomly fails to close and lock into place. Over the course of these past 4 years the vehicle has been taken in a number of times to have the problem fixed, and of this writing it is still not working properly 100% of the time. The service people always think they find the problem and have rectify it yet it still comes back.
I don't know if this is the lack of training on the service people to fix the problem or if this is a Ford design problem that they won't admit to. What ever the reason it is very frustrating to have a vehicle taken in the number of times this one has over 4 years and the problem still can't be solved.

I was looking for a used pickup but you guys had a left over 2016 so I bought it. I was really happy with the 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn. Everything was great I loved it. Then we went camping pulling the camper. Everything was going good until all of a sudden it just quit running!!!!!!!!! It only had a little over 2800 miles!!!!!!! I wasn't a happy camper pulling a camper on our 1st time out pulling it and it quit running!!!!!!!! Now I need a new motor. Even though it's under warranty it's just the principal I don't have my new pickup because it's BROKE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
