I went to 7 different dealerships and at 6 of them no one came out to help me. Well, I lucked out because at the 7th dealership I met a man name Jim Smyly. Jim took not just 1 day but 2 different days to help me decide on a car. I test drove new and used and with a little help from Jim, I drove off very satisfied with the choice I made. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. My experience with Jim and the dealership was wonderful. I will highly recommend both. If I am ever to purchase another vehicle, it will only be with Jim. Thank you Jim for everything you do!

Was just casually looking at other cars when Stephen came out, he quickly offered to run some numbers for us when we told him what we could do. Bottom line is we left with a brand new Kia Sorento, with a payment only $90 more than I was paying. I love my car!

Pierce York is a self righteous jerk! He was unknowledgeable about the inventory- had zero idea about the specs on the truck we wanted- was rude when we asked to drive the vehicle even when he KNEW we had driven over 3.5 hours to see it- and had contact with my Husband before we left home to go there. He basically had zero desire to make the sale and was an absolute xxx in the process.
DO NOT consider this dealership as an option. Buy yourself a horse- or a moped first!

Very disappointed in the communication skills. My vehicle paint was due to be fixed in a We Owe and I’ve been trying to get in touch for weeks. Managers tell me the sales consultant is out or on lunch and will call me back. He never once tried calling me. As a manager myself, I know first hand this could have been handled by a manager. So now I have a new car with dents where the paint SHOULD have been fixed. Very unprofessional and I can promise my car will never see that parking lot again. I am also waiting on a floor mat that the sales consultant said he would get. It was supposed to be picked up when I get my paint fixed. I appreciate the deal, and the great patience a few other great managers had with my children the day of purchasing, but by far the worst customer experience afterwards. Thankfully I got no survey 😉

I scheduled an appointment on Saturday, September 4 at 1 pm to see and test a Hyunday Santa Fe 2017. I arrived 30 minutes earlier to find the car was being tested by a walk-in customer. I waited for about 10 minutes and as soon as the other customer finished testing the car the salesperson gave us the key to test it. It took us 10 -15 minutes driving around and as soon as arrived back at the dealership the other salesperson informed that the car was sold! I was surprised and said I had made an appointment and drove from Virginia for 1 hour to see this specific car! The manager came out and said "I'm sorry! I hope this will not happen to other people and that's why I want to put out this review. I was disappointed by the way I was treated. To me this was unproffesional cbad ustomer service!

Purchased a new Kia Sorento last month from O'Donnell Kia in Catonsville. I liked the environment. The sales lady that assisted me Joy was extremely friendly, personable & informative. Not pushy, which is very important to me! The entire process was less than 1 hr. I did my research beforehand so I knew what I wanted and how much I was looking to pay - they were honest & upfront!! I would recommend everybody to check out O'Donnell Kia if you are looking for a "No Games" buying experience!!

In November 2008, I purchased a new car (2009 Kia Rio5) from Thompson Kia, even purchasing an extended warranty beyong the 5 yr/60k mile Basic Warranty. I was mislead by Thompson Kia about the warranty and I've had nothing but problems with the vehicle. From paint peeling several times (fixed incorrectly by Thompson Kia) to my car jolting when put in reverse to air conditioner problems and strange noises when steering -- all looked at by Thompson Kia in Fallston, MD and even after numerous visits, they could not fix my vehicle.
I even had to get the Better Business Bureau of Maryland as well as Kia involved and on 08/23/11, I had my car towed to Thompson Kia for they promised they would fix my vehicle and after two days of not even looking at it and then telling me my car was not under warranty (the Service Department and General Manager somehow misread my odometer -- I'm not joking), a week later I was told my car was ready. Not only was the major items not fixed, but also new issues appeared. They denied Mediation/Arbitration by the Better Business Bureau to avoid fixing my vehicle. They did everything in their power to not honor both my warranties! This, without a doubt, was the worst mistake of my life! I wish I had never purchased the car!

The staff are very friendly and easy to work with. I bought a car here and brought it back for the service every time because of this. They are honest and upfront. The reliability of the car exceeded my expectations, I had it for 180,000 + miles with hardly any maintenance except for oil changes. I would definitely recommend them anytime.
