Took our optima in for a warranty repair.. The engine needed replaced. They did the job in 8 hours after having the car for 3 weeks. They didn't hook the cooling fan up. So the car overheated on the ride home. They didn't latch 3 of the 4 coil pack connectors locks. They broke the o2 sensor plug that holds it to the block. They did not put any of the bolts back in the coil pack harness plastic bracket. And harnesses were zip tied tight as a banjo string.. Not to mention the service writers were anything but professional. Sitting around in a huddle on bar stools. And very unprofessional over the phone. Oh and we supplied a radiator that we were charged a hour to install. Which had to be removed while doing the engine swap. I guess there master tech needs a hour to take a radiator out of the box?

The car is vibrating I drive an hour to work everyday . Called other Kia dealerships to try to get my car in they don’t want to take it because I bought it in Bowie . This is not the only time we have had poor service . I don’t think we have ever paid for a oil change because of the awful service they provide . I understand they are short staffed but that is not my problem my car is still under warranty. But nobody gives a care

Chris and Kenny did a excellent job with the car buying experience. Chris went through all the details of each type of warranty I was getting. Kenny was quick with getting the loan approved. By far the fastest I have been in and out of a dealership. They were personable and welcoming. If you are ever looking for a car I would highly recommend Buchanan Kia in Westmimster, MD.

Told me i have to wait over a week for a bramd new car engine light to be fixed have small children and couldnt care less about fixing the problem. Totally ridiculous and dont care about customers safety. Its my problem a bramd new car isnt running right.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION! I have had a tire light on since I bough the truck. I have taken it back multiple times to be fixed, Ive been told it was fixed, dont worry about it its just the light, there is nothing wrong with your truck. Well now when I take it back there is a $269.00 repair that needs to be done one my tire plus the tires are bad now because of this issue costing me another $800 in 2 tires! Ive spoke with the Service Manger Rob & GM Paula and all they say they can do is give me 20% off. I am furious with this company. I go and buy a $39,000 vehicle from this company, drive off the lot with issues immediatly and don't get any resolution!!! Their customer service is the WORST from the receptionist to the Management. I want to speak with the owner!!! Not to mention I took it there for an oil change, drive off the lot and my fluids lights came on!! When I picked my truck up, the lady who gave me my keys said here is your keys, I asked where my truck was she told me somewhere on the lot! CARELESS COMPANY!

I can say I wasn't the best at knowing what I wanted. Instead of these gentlemen becoming upset or rude they were the complete opposite. Stripped my lugs, blamed me and other shop that did not exist, charged triple amount on labor, made me find my own vehicle somewhere in their parking lot after service instead of bringing it to me, shuttle service left me stranded for over an hour, performed unauthorized "safety" inspection and did not give me findings in person but mailed it to me later

Purchased a new Kia Sorento last month from O'Donnell Kia in Catonsville. I liked the environment. The sales lady that assisted me Joy was extremely friendly, personable & informative. Not pushy, which is very important to me! The entire process was less than 1 hr. I did my research beforehand so I knew what I wanted and how much I was looking to pay - they were honest & upfront!! I would recommend everybody to check out O'Donnell Kia if you are looking for a "No Games" buying experience!!

In November 2008, I purchased a new car (2009 Kia Rio5) from Thompson Kia, even purchasing an extended warranty beyong the 5 yr/60k mile Basic Warranty. I was mislead by Thompson Kia about the warranty and I've had nothing but problems with the vehicle. From paint peeling several times (fixed incorrectly by Thompson Kia) to my car jolting when put in reverse to air conditioner problems and strange noises when steering -- all looked at by Thompson Kia in Fallston, MD and even after numerous visits, they could not fix my vehicle.
I even had to get the Better Business Bureau of Maryland as well as Kia involved and on 08/23/11, I had my car towed to Thompson Kia for they promised they would fix my vehicle and after two days of not even looking at it and then telling me my car was not under warranty (the Service Department and General Manager somehow misread my odometer -- I'm not joking), a week later I was told my car was ready. Not only was the major items not fixed, but also new issues appeared. They denied Mediation/Arbitration by the Better Business Bureau to avoid fixing my vehicle. They did everything in their power to not honor both my warranties! This, without a doubt, was the worst mistake of my life! I wish I had never purchased the car!
