I had several bad experiences over the last several days looking at used cars. When I arrived, both vehicles had damage. I contacted Ralph and told him exactly what I wanted to see. He took a nice video and told me exactly where there were dents and dings National, where the other two dealerships did not. I purchased the vehicle the next day. Thanks Ralph! You did a great job.

This was our second KIA purchase at this dealership. After a negative experience at a different KIA service department, we knew we had to return to Summit Place KIA East for our next purchase, and their service department. This time was better than our 1st purchase. Everyone is so friendly and professional. From the receptionist to our sales consultant (John Rivers) to the finance manager (Dan), everyone was welcoming and appreciative of our business.

Buying a new vehicle can be (and often is) a stressful and unpleasant experience. This was just the opposite. From the initial negotiation phase through the delivery and even the meeting with the finance guy, everything was top-notch. My salesman Zac, and Nate, the Sales Manager, made negotiations and delivery smooth and easy. Austin, "the finance guy," explained the packages he had to offer, but he wasn't pushy at all. Zac took the time to set up my Kia Connect app, and even though I was very familiar with the EV9 (having owned one before), he made sure that everything was in order, and he answered any questions that I had. Throughout the process, communication was outstanding. I live in Northwest Indiana, close to many Kia dealers in the Chicago metro area. Taking the time to shop at Fox Kia North in Grand Rapids turned out to be a very good decision.

6-27-2024: I went in with our 2018 Kia Soul, for the ignition lock security upgrade. For this particular visit; our experience was 5 star. John Czarniak, the Service Advisor, "rolled out the red carpet", and treated us like family. Our car was done sooner than expected, and we were happy to have the security upgrade. While I was in the write up area, I noticed that the several mechanical techs working on the cars all seemed to be working hard to get the cars done, and out. Our service experience was great.

It was an okay visit. Just got my oil changed but I specifically asked for my tires to be filled and Elisa even wrote it on the maintenance checklist for the service department...but they never filled my tires & they never even filled out the checklist like they're supposed to...checking off all the things they looked at & completed while my car was back there. Of course I didn't know my tires weren't done until I was on the freeway a few miles away. I called & talked to Elisa and she offered to have me come back...but forget that. I shouldn't have to. Had they even looked at the checklist & completed it...this wouldn't have been missed. Elisa was nice enough to offer me a credit on my account for next time due to the trouble. She is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 3.

extremely unprofessional service department. The service worker, Josh specifically refuses to work on a vehicle even when there is clear issues. We have a check engine light and the vehicle stalls on a 2021 Soul with active warranty on the engine. They only want to kick the problem down the line until you go away. Do NOT go here for any service.

From solid ratings and a neighbor who recently had a good experience at the Williams dealership, I stopped in a cold and snowy Saturday morning. Rob was great to work with. He helped get several models cleaned off from the ongoing snow storm to test drive and check out the options. At the same time, Rick and his team checked out my existing vehicle for a turn in option. Skylar provided different finance options along with extended coverage packages. It was low pressure, informative experience and glad I went to Williams.

IN TALKING TO TWO DIFFERENT SALES PEOPLE, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD A $3,000 MINIMUM TRADE-IN ALLOWANCE PROMOTION. SO, I ASKED THE FIRST AGENT FOR DETAILS AND FOR SOME REASON HE COULD NOT CLEARLY EXPLAIN HOW THAT WORKED. THE MSRP OF THE CAR I WAS INTERESED IN WAS $42,980 SO IT WOULD SEEM ONE COULD GET $3000 OFF THAT MSRP. “JOE”, THE FIRST AGENT SAID THAT THE MSRP PRICE WAS A SPECIAL INTERNET PRICE AND I WOULD NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY FURTHER PROMOTION. (SO MSRP MUST BE “SPECIAL PRICING”! …WHAT A DEAL). A FEW DAYS LATER I CALLED KIA OF JACKSON AGAIN TO LEARN EXACTLY WHAT THE $3000 MINIMUM TRADE DEAL WOULD ACTUALLY BE. THIS TIME I TALKED TO AGENT “RIVER”. SHE ALSO HAD A DIFICULT TIME MAKING ME UNDERSTAND HOW THIS PROMOTION WORKED BUT FINALLY SAID I WOULD GET $3000 OFF THE PRICE THE CAR WAS ON THE LOT…“THE LOT PRICE”. OK THEN I ASKED WHAT IS THE “LOT PRICE” FOR THIS CAR. SHE LOOKED IT UP AND SAID IT WAS $44,480 ($1500 ABOVE MSRP!) SHE CONFIRMED THAT I COULD THUS GET THE CAR FOR $41,480 ($44,480 - $3000) PLUS TAX & FEES. I TOLD RIVER TO PLEASE EMAIL ME THE WINDOW STICKER ETC. I SUBSEQUENTLY GOT HER EMAIL AND I WAS SURPRISED WITH A NEW LOT PRICE…THE MESSAGE SAID “…The lot price of the vehicle will be $45,980.00.”! SO, WHEN I WAS PLANNING TO EXERCISE THE $3000 MINIMUM TRADE-IN PROMOTION THE PRICE OF MY CAR INCREASED AND SO IT ENDED UP GETTING CHANGED TO EXACTLE $3000 HIGHER THAN THE MSRP. I THINK MOST PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS WOULD AGREE WITH ME THAT THIS KIA OF JACKSON PLACE WOULD BE A GOOD ONE TO AVOID.

My wife and I have been leasing a new Kia through Nichole Vandendries at Kia of Grand Blanc for our last 3 leases. Granted, we live a good couple hundred miles from Kia of Grand Blanc, where there are two other dealers considerably closer, but neither of those could match the price as well as Nichole's help in arranging everything that needed to be done to make it all come together. Her help and professionalism really can't be beat from all the other dealers we have dealt with over the years.

I would like to provide my feedback regarding my service experience at LaFontaine Automotive Group. My customer service experience with Business Manager Ace Ford and Javier Saulsberry was awesome. My vehicle went in mid March 2026. It was identified that I needed a new transmission. Last year, my engine needed to be replaced. This again was one of the most stressful incidents I have dealt with, I would like to commend both gentlemen with the highest regard. Both assisted me from inception to completion. They were both highly professional and helpful. At the onset of when I reached out to LaFontaine, Mr. Ford assured me that the LaFontaine group would assist me to get my repairs successfully resolved. Please note, Mr. Ford and Mr. Saulsberry did just that! I could not be more pleased and I profusely thank them for their professionalism, integrity and care. I am very happy with my customer service experience! Again I thank them for going above and beyond to ensure successful resolution of my issue.
