My new car buying experience with Hunter at Summit Place Kia East was terrific. Hunter found me the Kia Seltos that I was looking for and set up the purchase with little effort on my part. Other dealers were not so willing to help get me into the car I wanted. Hunter was very friendly and throughly explained all the cool features of the car. This was the best car buying experience! Our 2018 Kia Soul (belonging to my son) had an unfortunate engine failure due, in no small part, to maintenance lapses on 'our' end. Despite the fact that the entire service industry is under immense pressure in terms of finding and keeping qualified employees to keep up with daily demand, my son's salesman, Lee, was incredibly accessible, went to bat for us, and was able to squeeze us into an impossible schedule and find a solution. Very unhappy and upset and felt cheated. I went to the dealership yesterday 7/14/2022 for a teluride delt with Andrew Fledman and Bill Groth i was quoted an interest rate of 5.99 and 75 months to get to a payment of $730 per month. Later when I went to finance manager the interest rate was lowered to 4.49 and extended to 84 months and payment stayed at 730 per month. When i was going over the warranty paper i relied on the finance manager to go over options but at the time of signing that paper it was mentioned this is your standard agreement sign here and next page here is your payment sign here. I signed trusting this finance manger to have full disclosure. I asked what is this $4900 service contract he said its included in the payment price. I did not want to purchase this at all so next day 7-15-2022 i went to the dealer but after waiting 2 hours at the dealer and the way they spoke to me was very confrontational. I was told By the finance manager that they dnt have to cancel the $4900 service plan since I already signed even though I came back to the dealer within 15 hours of signing the paper work. This happend to another person I found a review online earlier this year on dealer rater. I feel like i was fraudulently delt with and now i am stuck with a higher monthly payment for 7 years. Sales manager was upset that “they went above and beyond to get me extended term and lower rate” but that gave the dealership no right to make financial decisions and add service plans without me asking for me and making me sign without disclosing fully what i am signing. Check their actual reviews on dealer rater. I wish i had checked that before going there.

DONOT EVER GO TO THIS DEALSHIP !! Absoloutely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior ! We had called the dealership an hour prior to our arrival to check out a used Kia Sorento . When we arrived at the dealership after driving 2 hours, to our great surprise the car was nowhere to be found. Tom,our sales person finally located it at the cleaners after a 30 min wait time and, we had to drive 10 mins to go to the different location ( i.e ... the cleaners )and test drive the car( Firstly, as a customer you expect that the car is ready and on location when you are calling beforehand to set up an appointment to checkout the car. Secondly, you DONOT have paying customers drive to the cleaners to checkout a car ... you have the car bought down from the cleaners or you let us know and reschedule the appointment.... that's why we SCHEDULE an appointment !! ... Duh !! It really isn't rocket science ! ) ... we didnot see the other red Kia Sorento since we already have a red car and didn't want another red car, which we very clearly communicated with Tom. Never the less, we spent a few hours at the dealership and finalized the deal on the white Kia Sorento and then drove back home . On reaching home , we get a call from the manager that the white Kia Sorento, that we spent half the day checking out was actually sold yesterday ! He told us that this happens and our sales person has been working really hard for us ( when we asked not to work with him anymore) !! ..... Seriously?? Are you kidding me ? That's like the FIRST thing to check .... if the car is sold or not !! ( And what he means by " it happens" is .... I am guessing...we are not the first people coming to this place to have such a thing happen to them !). And now they are working on getting ready the red Kia sorento for us to check out when we explicitly told them that we DIDNOT want a red car in the first place!! When I did say that I didn't wish to see this car,he also argued with us on how the car is a " sangria " and not really "a red " .... 🙄..... really ?? He also said that the most he can do for us is to let us know if the deal falls through. Unbelievable !! Just unbelievable ! We will not be coming back for sure and are writing this review so that all future customers are forewarned and do not waste their time with this place .Go there at your own risk !

Bought a brand new kia last march, i get constant trash mail and e-mail from them, apparently they still have an approved loan for me and keep trying to get me to buy another vehicle, i have called 6 times, stopped in 5 times, trying to get it to stop, im talking about 3 to 5 regualr mails a week and 6 to 12 emails a week, its been every week for over a year now, i have been told by their manager its my problem i should not have bought A car from them and they refuse to stop the harassing mails, another mistake i made was taking car into williams for the oil change, also get multiple letters and emails from service dept as well. My brother has purchased several kias from a dealer in Grand rapids and has no harassment at all, be smart do not buy from a williams dealership, trust me they will just bother the heck out of you

I had alot of requirements so finding the car to fit was not easy. But he kept trying and maintained contact with me. The manager also made sure the car was fixed and looking good.

Awesome service! Ali Kabil provided us with excellent customer service. We never felt pressured or pushed to a certain vehicle or to purchase anything. He is very knowledgeable about all models of Kia and gave us very detailed explanations of each feature of the various models we were interested in. He did everything in his power to accommodate us as well as various members of the team ... If Ali did not have an answer, he found another team member who did. We highly recommend Seelye Kia in Battle Creek as a great place to browse and/or purchase a vehicle. Kia's warranty cannot be beat and we love the car! We have purchased new vehicles from other dealerships in the past and have to say, this has been our best experience. If there is a next time for a new vehicle, Seelye Kia of Battle Creek is where we will be going.

They service sucks. They don't call you when you need to have car in service. I had tow my car to service because the transmission went out. When I got there I was trying to get a loaner. They told me they don't have loaners available. I had to talk to service manager to get a loaner. They service manager did get me a loaner. They really need to fix their service department big time. If they don't fix their issues. They will loose a lot customers and they will stop buying kia. Sorry to say this will be my last kia that I own. I am sick and tired of failure transmission issues especially they new car very low mileage the transmission failed.

Jordan was amazing, I had been looking for a 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid and Oklahoma doesn't have them yet. I called dozens of other dealers from the West Coast to the East Coast and Jordan was the only salesperson that was all over it. LaFontaine Kia of Dearborn didn't have a crazy ridiculous Market Increase on the vehicle and it was within reason. They had what I was looking for and made the deal happen. Jordan arranged for transport and everything was a 10 Star Performance. He was available and still is if I have any questions or need anything at all! Would definitely purchase from him again!

Bought a 2018 Kia Sportage. Had an issue with the title to where they changed banks on us without notification.
Went to the BMV to get everything in my name. Brought everything they gave me to be safe. Still didn't have the correct paperwork to get it in my name. I went to home to double check I had everything and I did. They just never gave me the proper forms.
The car looked good when I bought it (other than the fact it wasn't detailed at all) but smelled a bit like smoke. Not a big deal to some, but I get sick. Figured it was just from my sales rep who, when he would come back into his office with a new form, smelled like he just stepped outside for a cigarette. It said online it was a non-smoker who previously owned the vehicle. I've tried to air it out and spray it. Had it since the middle of January, still reeks.
Underneath the bumper was duct taped (not visible when looking the car over). Didn't notice until it started dragging one day. Spent the time on the phone and everything and it took two weeks to get the new part in. Finally called to ask if I could bring it in, they couldn't find a loaner. The next day they got one. Dropped it off and the service guy (who seems to be the only person who wanted to help me) told me someone up front said carelessly to just give me a car that was there that was covered to the point you could barely see out the windshield. The service guy cleaned the windows for me.
I didn't even take my car for the free oil changes they offer for buying a car on their lot. The hassle wasn't worth it to me to deal with them again. My car has felt loose over the last couple months (but better compared to my other car I had to get rid of so it wasn't the most noticeable). Found out that my front-righr wheel bearing is messed up.
This place should be condemned. I've never been so disappointed in any purchase in my life. They give you the cliche customer service lines, but their attitude and willingness to put people behind the wheel of a car that is literally taped together should be embarrassing.
