Awesome service! Ali Kabil provided us with excellent customer service. We never felt pressured or pushed to a certain vehicle or to purchase anything. He is very knowledgeable about all models of Kia and gave us very detailed explanations of each feature of the various models we were interested in. He did everything in his power to accommodate us as well as various members of the team ... If Ali did not have an answer, he found another team member who did. We highly recommend Seelye Kia in Battle Creek as a great place to browse and/or purchase a vehicle. Kia's warranty cannot be beat and we love the car! We have purchased new vehicles from other dealerships in the past and have to say, this has been our best experience. If there is a next time for a new vehicle, Seelye Kia of Battle Creek is where we will be going.

I did my part to avoid this negative review. Sales man Capus Robinson is illiterate with paper work. He had our plates and titles for the two Kia Souls I purchased CASH on 11-4-19 all screwed up. There was several lies and promises of accessories that has never been honoured. It took until my husband's bday 12-17-19 for what we thought everything was finally straighten out after Matt Szabla from LaFontaine Volkswagen went above and beyond making things right for my husband's tags for his plates even compensating him for his inconvenience after Matt Law from LaFontaine Kia was incompetent on doing so. Now it's February I go to SOS to renew my tags sit for three hours to find out I have been driving around with a plate registered to my husband's Kia!! And now my car sits in the drive with wrong plates, and expired tags because I'm furius that I have to call up there AGAIN and get this all straightened out when someone that holds a higher position should have went through all of our paperwork and made sure everything was straightened out. This has been a huge inconvenience and taking up a lot of time and gas running back and forth to the dealership and Sos. It is the worst buying experience I have ever had. I'd highly reconsider taking your business here.

DONOT EVER GO TO THIS DEALSHIP !! Absoloutely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior ! We had called the dealership an hour prior to our arrival to check out a used Kia Sorento . When we arrived at the dealership after driving 2 hours, to our great surprise the car was nowhere to be found. Tom,our sales person finally located it at the cleaners after a 30 min wait time and, we had to drive 10 mins to go to the different location ( i.e ... the cleaners )and test drive the car( Firstly, as a customer you expect that the car is ready and on location when you are calling beforehand to set up an appointment to checkout the car. Secondly, you DONOT have paying customers drive to the cleaners to checkout a car ... you have the car bought down from the cleaners or you let us know and reschedule the appointment.... that's why we SCHEDULE an appointment !! ... Duh !! It really isn't rocket science ! ) ... we didnot see the other red Kia Sorento since we already have a red car and didn't want another red car, which we very clearly communicated with Tom. Never the less, we spent a few hours at the dealership and finalized the deal on the white Kia Sorento and then drove back home . On reaching home , we get a call from the manager that the white Kia Sorento, that we spent half the day checking out was actually sold yesterday ! He told us that this happens and our sales person has been working really hard for us ( when we asked not to work with him anymore) !! ..... Seriously?? Are you kidding me ? That's like the FIRST thing to check .... if the car is sold or not !! ( And what he means by " it happens" is .... I am guessing...we are not the first people coming to this place to have such a thing happen to them !). And now they are working on getting ready the red Kia sorento for us to check out when we explicitly told them that we DIDNOT want a red car in the first place!! When I did say that I didn't wish to see this car,he also argued with us on how the car is a " sangria " and not really "a red " .... 🙄..... really ?? He also said that the most he can do for us is to let us know if the deal falls through. Unbelievable !! Just unbelievable ! We will not be coming back for sure and are writing this review so that all future customers are forewarned and do not waste their time with this place .Go there at your own risk !

Got approved, signed papers, signed up for an Environmental Paint protection plan Wich was said to "cover any and all enviornmental damage to paint", bought the vehicle and was told they were waiting on the title, no biggie they gave me a dealer plate. Over the next few weeks the dip xxxx salesman kept calling me telling me the title was in, so I kept driving up there and it wasn't there, tried to talk and explain it to the lady at the desk and she got snotty with me "well I can't help you cause we don't have it" and then towards the end of it the salesman was telling me "well we need to figure something out cause we need the dealership plate back." So finally got my title after about a month or so of frustration. Than a year later called up about getting paint touched up/fixed, Michigan winter's are quite rough, cause supossedly I had the "cover all and any enviornemtnal damage" plan which then was told no, but t if I wanted bird xxxx stains removed they could do that. Never again.

I leased a 2018 Kia Sorento from this dealer and had so many problems in 2018. I should not have come back here. I thought that I was close to my miles and my lease ended in December 2020. I decided to go check out some vehicles knowing I had $500 down payment and wanted my payment under $250. I was pressured for 4 hours trying to force me into a payment I was not comfortable with. I agreed to $251 payment, $500 down and 12K miles yearly. Walked over to finance building and I was told $1k down, 10K miles and that would be $251 monthly. Sales person came over and states that is what we agreed on. I ended up only putting $500 down and payment went to $266. I was there for 4 hours already and wanted to leave. I signed papers and the very next morning I get an email from Kia saying that I have 15k miles a year on the car that I just turned in with super low miles. I thought that I only had 12K miles a year. I called sales person and I was told not to "freak out". I called finance manager and he returned my call, however when I mentioned I was not happy with the bait and switch and I wanted my old lease back since it had not even been 12 hours since I was at the dealer, he said he would look into this and call me back. He said that if the bank did not fund the lease we may be able to reverse it. However 4 hours went by and I called and left 2 other VM and he would not call me back. So I am sure that the bank funded it and now for sure wont be getting any resolution. I love Kia's, the vehicles are amazing, the sales people are not great. I wish I could buy this cars through an automated kiosk, online app or vending machine like Carvana. I want what I was promised and I would be happy with the base model car I got specifically for the parameters I set. If I was going to pay more I would have bought a fully loaded vehicle like the one that I just turned in! I just want communication, don't avoid the customer that helps you put food on your table. If it was not for people buying the cars you would have to find a different way to pay your own bills.
