I had a pleasant experience purchasing my 2020 Ford Escape Titanium from Doherty Ford in Forest Grove (back in 2020). So why not having all my services done with them as well. I never had a bad experience. Recently, my tire pressure sensor failed on a back tire, and they took me in that same day for service. While my car was already at their shop why not do an oil change. They offered and I appreciated that. Saves me time to take another day off from work to get the oil change done. My husband also takes his 2012 Ford Utility Van to their Express Lane. We purchased both vehicles from Doherty and have been very happy with our choice of dealer and car/van.

On Friday, February 28th, I bought a new 2024 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 V6 from Wilson Motors. Brian was the Sales Associate and John was the Sales Manager. It was one of the best vehicle buying experiences of my life (not over stating it here). Brian was nice, friendly, well informed, personable and a good listener. John was likewise personable, straight forward and no excess sales pressure or bait and switch tactics. I appreciated that. I got a good deal (the right vehicle for the right price). Admittedly, I had a pretty straightforward transaction: no trade-in, no financing, just straight purchase. That being said, do your homework in advance and be prepared to take a pause in the transaction process if you need more time to think. Opportunity plus timing plus preparation increases your success potential. I recommend Wilson Motors for anyone in the market. Peace.

Drove the truck off the lot a couple hours later after Eric and Jeremy both assisted us in getting the many questions we had answered and resolved. They were patient and helpful. HIGHLY Recommend NOT buying a used car at Newberg Ford. I bought a 2015 Subaru from them in December. Took it in to a Subaru dealership to get it inspected. There was an oil leak, long story short, the only way to fix it was to take the ENTIRE motor out, and the 2 rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. That was a $5k + job. That took a month to get back. Drove it for 2 days and the Transmission went out. That was a $8,200 job. Spoke to the Sales manager once I found out about the leak, and got nothing but attitude from him. He just kept saying "Good thing you bought a warranty" and " I'm not sure what you want me to tell you to make you feel better". I responded with, "I'm not looking for you to make me feel better, this looks terrible on your part" I asked for a copy of the inspection report from when they took the car in on trade. There was an oil leak stated on the report, but NOT mentioned to me when I bought the car. One good thing, if you want to call it that, the finance guy INSISTED that I buy the warranty. Even after I turned it down several times. The price of the warranty somehow magically went from $6k, that was declined. Then offered to me for $2,000 or so. I have owned the car for 5 months, There has been $13,000 worth of repairs. (All covered by warranty luckily) Hopefully this is it for a while. I have made 3 car payments without even driving the car. Never got any sort of apology even. It seemed as though they don't even care that they sold me an absolute xxx. If I could give a -5* review, I would. Hopefully someone high up Newberg Ford sees this. If its happened to me, its probably happened to more people. In my opinion. STAY AWAY FROM NEWBERG FORD.

Chuck Colvin Ford: A March 2024 Nightmare from Start to Finish My recent ordeal with Chuck Colvin Ford in March 2024 was nothing short of a nightmare, marked by atrocious customer service, a rushed process, and a blatant disregard for my concerns. From the moment I stepped foot into the dealership, I was met with indifference and a palpable sense of disinterest from the sales staff. To make matters worse, the salesman, Tim, bombarded me with texts in the days leading up to my visit, creating an atmosphere of pressure and obligation. It felt as though I was being coerced into making a purchase rather than being guided through a thoughtful and considerate sales process. Once I arrived at the dealership, any semblance of professionalism went out the window. The sales staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than attending to my needs as a customer. As I expressed interest in a used vehicle, I was hurried through the process with little regard for ensuring my satisfaction or addressing any concerns I had. The paperwork was thrust in front of me without explanation or opportunity for verification. It was clear that the dealership's priority was closing the deal as quickly as possible, with no consideration for the customer's peace of mind. What's more, not once was I asked if I wanted any additional features or add-ons for the vehicle. It was as if my preferences didn't matter; all that mattered was getting me out the door with a signature on the dotted line. In hindsight, my experience with Chuck Colvin Ford in March 2024 was a cautionary tale of what happens when profit takes precedence over customer satisfaction. I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with them to think twice and explore alternative options. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by steering clear of this dealership.
