I'm so impressed with how well I was treated at Canby Ford. I had known nothing about them before I pulled in for a test drive, but within minutes I was made to feel at home. My salesperson, Neil, was very kind, informative, and patient with me. I had a lot of questions to make sure I was making the perfect choice for my family and me. He was incredibly respectful to me and my needs and wants. He knew the correct answers to all of my questions. While making my purchase, he made sure I got the price I wanted to pay and threw in a couple little extras that he knew my family wanted. They treated me as if my happiness really mattered to them. I bought my 2016 fusion from a very knowledgeable salesman. He wasn't pushy and the sales manager worked with me to get me in to my car. A few months later I came in for a tire rotation and balance of my tires. Shortly after this service I noticed a bouncing in my rear tires and a noise that was getting louder and louder. I made a appointment for it to be checked out and they found that the alignment was off, the tires were out of balance, and these new tires were nearly warn out on the inside. This alignment and balancing issue should have been noticed during the rotation. They put new tires on and alignment, as well as gave me a rental so I could get my son to school. This was such an amazing example of customer service and made me a customer for life. I will refer them to everyone. Thank you so much gentry Ford!

Keith Weisgerber in service has always been a polite, cheerful and experienced guy! Always in and out in quick time for oil changes and and such, and he keeps me informed of wait length or any questions-for example--he found me on the lot, showed me the cabin air filter and asked if I wanted replaced. And if so, its about $XX dollars. Seeing it made me say yes.
Service dept is usually a bustling place, so some patience is required for narrrow lanes and parking, but the fact they are busy is usually a good thing!

Bad service resolved - lucky one
I brought in a new vehicle that I purchased from Suburban Ford for some warranty work. After dealing with Michael in service I became very irritated and felt like he could care less. Told me that he basically didn't care that it would not be done when promised. At that point I emailed Tim the service manager and once he got yo the bottom of the problem he made things happen
I can't thank him enough for what Tim did to get my truck done on time even when I going out he shipped it yo an outside source to replace the sound panels. So thank you Tim and Suburban Ford for providing excellent customer service before a situation got out of control

The following is a copy of what I have submitted to the Oregon DOJ Fraud reporting website with copies of my documentation showing the details:
I purchased a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Vin# 1C4BJWDG2GL106927. The vehicle was advertised with Dual Top Group. As the vehicle was sitting on the lot the soft top was not in it or on it, only the hard top. I called my sales person, Joel Valdez, to make sure the soft top was in fact included. He told me he would double check. Later he texted me a replay that said, "So went to Al, he said there is a soft top that goes with it too..." I later completed the purchase of the vehicle, traded them my old car, arranged financing, etc. I left the dealership and once I arrived back home, I realized that I had not received the promised soft top so I called Mr Valdez again. Mr. Valdez replied by text, "The used car manager isn't here but I'll look into it first thing in the morning - John didn't know so I'll ask the used car manager." Then this morning at 7:33, Mr. Valdez texted, "Good morning, I didn't realize I worked at 11 today, but as soon as I clock on I'll see about the soft top." At 11:28 Mr. Valdez texted, "So no go on the soft top, wasn't salvageable."
I then told Mr Valdez that the top was marketed as part of the deal for the car and let him know that I have a window sticker stating "Dual Top Group". His response to me was that I can return the vehicle and reverse the deal. I said that I wasn't interested in returning the vehicle, that I wanted the equipment that was promised to me. Next a manager from Crater Lake Ford Lincoln called me and said that "there is no more money in this deal for them so I can return the Jeep if I wanted but that I wouldn't be getting the soft top." I replied that what they did is a bait and switch where they promised a specific set of features and then after the deal was completed, refused to deliver on those features. The manager's response to me was that if I felt it was a legal matter, I could have my attorney contact their attorney.
I have printed my entire text transcript and I have a copy of the window sticker with the vehicle vin number stating that it would have 2 tops. I feel like I have been taken advantage of in this situation, I am not concerned if they overpromised and it costs them more money so that they have to take a loss on the deal. I am only concerned to receive what I was promised and purchased.
- After submitting this, I decided that there are other vehicles on the market and I would prefer not to give this particular lot my money so I took advantage of my legal 3 day right to rescission, reversed my sale, gave the vehicle back and got my trade returned to me.
