The salesman we dealt with was very friendly and knowledgeable, and there was no pressure to purchase, compared to two other dealerships we visited. The finance lady was also very friendly and knowledgeable, had all the paper work ready to go in a very short period of time. The genius was extremely helpful in helping me with all of the electronic functions, especially since I am from the old school of everything thing manual and mechanical. I know I will be calling him several times to get questions answered about a lot of the functions that I will not be using on a daily basis.
Also we will be getting in touch with our sales rep. in the near future to discuss the purchase of another vehicle. That is how happy both my wife and myself are with this dealership

Julian Rubbo was my primary contact at BMW of San Rafael. From start to finish he was excellent. He helped me configure the car after showing me the vehicle on the lot that was most similar, so I could see what the color combinations would look like, the M sport package looked like, and the options I wanted. He communicated when there was a status update and shared relevant links, making the process smooth. He was very considerate of my time. He then handed me off to Shaun to complete the paperwork. Shaun Hagerman was efficient and congenial, and I was out of the dealership with my car in a shorter amount of time than I had budgeted. I will definitely recommend BMW of San Rafael to my friends and family, even though it's not the closest dealership to my zip code.

Eddie has sold my family 6 BMWs over the years. I came in on Thursday to get an oil change and Eddie appeared when he saw me visiting with my service advisor and remembered that my three year lease was coming due in a few months. He knew exactly what I potentially wanted and promptly introduced me to the new sales manager, Calvin Lau, and the new GM, Eric Schwartz. Within minutes Eddie found me "my car" and I didn't even have to visit another dealership nor price shop on-line. The first car was spot one and totally satisfied my needs. Thirty minutes later I signed the paperwork for the new car. Eddie figured out how to end my previous lease early without my even having to go back after the oil change was completed and I drove home with the new car that evening! By the way, the new GM, Eric Schwartz, chimed in and offered his assistance and blessed the deal. He also demonstrated great interest in becoming part of our South Bay community. What more can I say? Now I am up to 7 BMW from Eddie. Look for Eddie on the main floor. He is there for the long haul and will do you well. He knows his stuff and won't let you walk of the building without finding a solution.

I had a rare good experience with a BMW dealer when buying my car today from Oxana. Not only was she courteous in our email communications but she was direct and was very prompt in providing me the necessary information to get an amazing price for my car.
She was fair but consistent and a great example of salesmanship in a world of non so good dealerships. I would highly recommend her for her direct and straightforward sales approach that doesn't play games and is serious about getting you the car that you want.

We recently leased our second BMW from Diamond Yeung at Crevier in Santa Ana and highly recommend him as a sales adviser. When the lease from our previous BMW was due, I wasn't sure which model BMW would best suit my needs. Diamond was very patient, and educated me about the different features in each of the vehicles we test drove. He worked with us to get the deal that we wanted, and we took the car home that day! We initially visited Hansel to look at the i3. Luis Chinchilla did and excellent job of explaining and demonstrating, but the prices did not work for us. We then asked Luis about the X-1, which also interested us and he again did a fine job of introducing us to the car. We ended up with a certified 2013 X-1 with low miles and a lot of features that were new to us. Kai Fuller was most impressive in introducing us to the extraordinary complexity of the car. I have had two sessions with him to get into greater detail on all of the features. His explanations have been clear and accurate. Our enjoyment of the car have gone up accordingly. We have no experience yet on the service department, but the parts staff have been knowledgeable and helpful as well.

Buying a high end vehicle is usually a pleasant experience, but once you own the car you begin to realize that customer service after the sale is arguably more important. So this weekend I visited BMW of Bakersfield and met the most incredible young woman, Carolyn Cariaga, the Service Representative. It was to take care of a simple problem, but Carolyn went beyond that and made certain that I left with a memory that exceeded the little problem that I had. From the moment I pulled into the service bay I felt like I had met a friend who was willing to explain some things about our new BMW; probably information I should have read, but Carolyn patiently explained anyway. She never lost her smile, and within a few minutes my minor issue was taken care of, much better than I had expected, the vehicle had been washed so well it sparkled and my thoughts about customer service were forever altered. This is service that most dealerships promise, few deliver and BWM of Bakersfield, delivers. I was so touched by the experience that I sought out the General Manager (yes he was working on Saturday too) Alex Karegaran to share with him my experience. He is a gracious man who really cares about his customers, and is proud of those who work for him. Terrible Service Center, tire pressure sensors keep going off, 1st reason it was in transport mode, next 2nd time it was a hole in tire but tire never deflates.
They want me to buy a new tire to test out their theory.

STAY, STAY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! As another reviewer stated, there apparently is a pattern of deceptive business practices and attempts to bait and switch. It happened to me January 21, 2017, as well. Confirmed vehicle purchase with Kirsten over a week ago, by phone with email confirmations. They needed time to prep car and did not finish when promised. When I arrived after a 2 hour train ride and on my way to the dealership, she told me the car had been sold by mistake to someone else the day before. Then Tiger, the Director of Sales, tried to sell me a different vehicle for $12,000 more. When I wouldn't agree he yelled and berated me saying I was being unreasonable and he was trying to help me. I asked to speak to the GM and was told she wasn't available. After being pawned off to someone else for an hour of the "run around" I left and purchased at BMW of Monrovia. Do not use this dealership. They do no care about customer service and have no integrity. I will be reporting this to BMW of North America as I have never been treated so poorly. STAY, STAY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!

I've purchased two cars from Steve Thomas and have had the maintenance on the present one done there for the past 3 years. I got an excellent deal on both I couldn't get elsewhere. I got my new 2014 at $300 over cost (I had actual cost provided by Consumer Reports) and saved an additional $1800 by taking delivery at the factory in Munich which was suggested by the internet sales person when he learned I was going to be there in a few months on vacation. The factory delivery program turned out to be an outstanding experience and I highly reccommend it to anyone who can manage the time to go and can tolerate the wait time for delivery to Steve Thomas from Munich. BMW provides European registration, 5 weeks of insurance and delivery back to any dealer at no additional cost.
The service has been easy to arrange, goes quickly with appointments and is done well. The car is always clean when finished and they provide you with a rental, a ride home or very nice treatment if you decide to wait in the lobby.
Despite all the hoorah about Rusnak BMW I had nothing but bad experiences with them after the move to their new facility. They ended up staffed with incompetents. I got a horrible offer on the new car earlier mentioned and, in an earlier experience several years before, had recommended $2400 in repairs to my old Z3 to solve a rumble problem and the car was only worth $5-6000. I consulted an expert mechanic that I knew and four of the five "needed repairs" weren't necessary and would not have solved the problem which turned out to be the exhaust system suspension. I had to pay Rusnak $180 for the useless diagnosis. The mechanic had never even taken the car out for a test drive as part of the diagnosis. Incompetence plain and simple and trying to squeeze me for a wad of money. I had taken the issue to management at Rusnak and never got a response.

This was by far, the easiest purchase of a vehicle. Jonathan (salesman) was extremely helpful and suggested best way to deal with the trade-in of a lease vehicle. Jonathan is easy going and humble. I highly recommend him. I am very satisfied with my purchase of my 528i BMW. Sweet ride!
