Alan and the Product Specialist Rick went out of their way to get us a used 2018 Jeep Compass Trail Hawk. The Courteous and Professional staff not only made an out of state purchase simple but any issues that came up they all responded immediately to resolve them. I would recommend them 1000% for any new or used vehicle anytime...They had the best product and the pricing was very fair also. Let me tell you something about this place... This is a quality dealership. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I had just had a horrible experience with a different dealer trying to price gouge due to the current situation in this country, and was almost convinced I just wasn't going to buy a new car right now. Then I found this place. I was treated like a VIP the entire time I was there(which wasn't very long because these guys are efficient). I drove out of state and 3 hours round trip to this dealership because they had the best prices. They offered me additional services(but weren't pushy when I declined, showed me around the establishment, explained features of car and their offered services. But the absolute cherry on the top for me was when they offered to deliver the car to my house(3 hour round trip and in another state) for free! I had driven there alone and wasn't trading my car in so I had to figure out how to get 2 cars home...they solved it without hesitation. If you are in the market for a new car GO HERE. Horrible Service! First, I have learned the hard way that there is no standard of service among Nissan Dealerships. They know that Nissan USA will not hold them accountable.
I brought my vehicle (20k miles) there 3 times for brake problems. Eradicate braking, intermittently jerking wheel. They sent me away the first 2 times. REFUSED to check my brake. The third time it sat in their back lot for over 3 weeks. The service liar said they drove it and couldn’t duplicate the problem. Geez. They’re crud! They’ve unnecessarily risked the safety of my family and hid facts they would’ve had to know about the vehicle.

No action until I physically showed up at the dealership. No customer service. Lack of courtesy and dismissive attitude at all levels within the dealership. Get a VIN search. Nissan is having huge discount right now. They are shown on most prices from nearby dealerships. However, this dealership doesn't have that. They may give one or two rebates but not all rebates. He explained that due to different cars (older manufacturing) and different pricing. I think that's totally bull. Just search around then you know the lies they told. They have always been expensive. The people are fine, but the system is faulty. As Jim Burke sells a lot of brands the service department (besides being on the street with cars backed up) is a circus. They do not have a shuttle, rather you are dropped off with no pickup. This is unheard of. 20,000 employees at UAB a few blocks away and no pickup service. Next car I buy goes back to a Toyota (Hoover Toyota) or Honda (Tameron) both with shuttle service. And faster service with one brand.

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this dealership! In the purchasing of our past four vehicles, we have traveled 2-4 hours away to purchase because we have had such horrible experiences at most every local dealership in the Huntsville area. That all changed at Lynn Layton and it is safe to say they will be our new go-to dealership for any car buying for us, our family members, and friends in the future.
Reasons to bring your hard-earned dollar to them: first and foremost, they are upfront, honest, and not pushy. As I alluded to, I have dealt with many a car salesman and many many a dealership. I understand the market has changed in the past ten years and car buying is not like it used to be, but as a consumer, that can be hard to understand and navigate. Here at Lynn Layton I felt very comfortable. I did not feel at all like I was being pushed or coerced, but I did feel like any question I had would be answered and answered honestly. They were transparent, which I VERY MUCH appreciate, informative, and overall made the whole experience less stressful and more pleasant (as pleasant as car buying can be). We dealt with Mike Mendez as our salesperson, who alone I would absolutely give a 10/10. But everyone we encountered there was extremely kind and helpful. I know y’all don’t know me from Adam but I do hope you’ll take my recommendation and give them a chance, especially if you’ve had bad experiences elsewhere, let them change your mind!

I purchased a 2005 altima nissan, 13000 miles on it in April 05 from Crump Nissan. I paid cash money for this car! In the pricing of the car they agreed to get the dents out of the bumper and repaint the same. Well it has been repainted twice and looks much worse, dents still there, water bubbles all in the paint.
My car now has 22000 miles on it. I am on this day putting 2 new tires on the care to keep it from shaking and they are slick.
It was my fault not to be a better shopper or ask about this dealership. I did not look at the tires, but 13000 miles I guess I thought they would be ok. I do not believe I saved that much money, but thought that I would. I wish they would just give me back my money for the car and let me be satisfied. You know these people knew this car. I admit on the right side of the car it was dented and I allowed them to fix that and still purchased the car. First wash job on it, you have never send soooo many dents and scratches that were covered by some sort of awful paint to cover them. This car was awful for 13000 miles and I wish they would have been honest and said you do not want this car. I told "Tim Dodd" my salesman I had bad vibes about that car and I had a right to. I bought the 3.5 so I could get dual exhaust, well on the left side of car the pipe extender was gone and I pd to have another one put on. It showed up so bad. Thank You, but I have been sick ever since this purchase. Kathy Bishop I will return to the lot when I go back to AL to tell them all this.
