Used truck sale - Carreview
Jacques was awesome to work with. Low pressure as far as car salesmen goes. He was enjoyable to chat with and was timely working back and forth with the manager during price negotiations. When they prepared the truck for sale they forgot to fill the take. Jacques went out of his way to fix the problem and get me a full tank at my convenience.
Home Warranty Service - Jeep Cherokee Traihawk
My recall warranty service for my Jeep Cherokee was performed by Joe Segura. He was early by his scheduled time which was great. He was very polite and informative as to the service he was providing, and listened to my personal concerns on the transmission performance, which is what the recall pertained too. He explained what the download would affect in the transmission operation and should clear up my concerns. He was absolutely professional and yet very personable. High 5555,s to Joe. Great Job!

Excellent Customer Service - Cross 27
My pickup broke down between Hayden and Steamboat Springs on our way home to Berthoud, Co. I had my pickup towed to Steamboat Motors because they sell and service Ford vehicles. My daughter
And her boyfriend were with me at the time and we were coming home from an elk hunt. When I called my insurance company they told me if the tow truck coming had only room for 2 people it was up to me to figure out how I was going to get the 3rd person a ride. I called the service department at Stemboat Motors and spoke to Brett Huff and told him the situation and that i was going to have my pickup towed there. Brett Huff Drove out to pickup my daughter and her boyfriend while I waited for the tow truck and took them to the dealership. while we were waiting at the dealership we were trying to figure out what to do because we had no running vehicle and no place to stay the night. They tried to find us a rental car form the area and beyond but no one had any rentals because it was during the week between Christmas and New Years 2018. So the dealership was able to get us a reasonable room rate in Steamboat while there were no vacancies at the Holiday Inn. They gave us a ride to the hotel and all of our stuff. The next day I went to get my pickup because I decided that night to have my brother in law come with a trailer and haul it back to Berthoud. I asked if there was a bill for there services and they said no and don't worry about it. The staff and owner went above and beyond for us and in return didn't even charge us. I am recommending Steamboat Motors for any of your vehicle needs and when I am in the market for a new vehicle I will make the drive from Berthoud, Co to Steamboat Springs, Co for my next vehicle purchase.

Worked with Kelly - would highly recommend him. Easy going, honest, not pushy, but works with you to get the deal you are comfortable with. Treats his customers just like he would like to be treated. He doesn't sell you a vehicle, you buy a vehicle with his assistance.

Nice surprise - AlecHarper194
My wife's 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee's "4WD Service" light went on a couple of weeks ago. With 116k miles on this wonderful vehicle, we figured this one had the potential to be an expensive service call. It was expensive, but the way in which Jon Earl (our service advisor) handled it made all of the difference. Sensing our dread, this young man took the time to be polite, to listen, and to assure us that he would do everything he could to get to the bottom of this issue quickly. In all aspects of our interaction with Jon, we were treated politely, the issue was explained in-depth, and in the end not only had they cleared a recall item (a nice surprise), but the final bill came in lower than quoted.
At a time when old fashioned politeness and professionalism seem to be things of the past, my wife and I were nicely surprised in our interaction with Mr. Earl. I would highly recommend this dealership's service department to others seeking a good experience.
Bad Customer Service - bjarocki
I brought our Jeep in to have its engine looked at, as it was making an odd noise and still under warranty. The dealership fixed the issue, but failed to mention that they were going to have to change the oil. The Jeep got an oil change that included MOA the day before, and then the dealership drained it all out. I asked them to replace the MOA since the oil change wasnt part of the service and didnt know it would have to happen and they refused to do so.
Its only a $17 difference or so, but you would think that the dealership would gladly replace the MOA they disposed of rather than put up a fight about it. Lost my future business for sure.
Just like any other place its crap - Cjtucker1988
Do not buy anything hear do not talk to Matt leo if you the tell you one thing and cant do it I was already in for work on car 6 days old and no one did anything like they said took way to long it was worst experience ever very unprofessional
Banned from Speaking with or entering Dealer premises - Bobr
I have been trying to get answers on work performed on my 2006 Ram 3500 Mega Cab since Boulder Doge worked on it July 18th 2019, They have asked for paperwork from me which I have provided to their e mail address Jeff Service Manager provided.
I was told to contact Chrysler Dodge by Jeff which I did (opened a case)and was referred back to the Dealer as they performed the work. I contacted the Dealer again (Jeff) Service Manager and was told the area Manager has to deal with this, Jeff told me he would phone me back didn’t happen.
August 16 th Friday I spoke with Jeremy Service Manager who told me the Area Manager was in hospital and Jeff had gone home.
He could also not answer my questions.
Saturday morning Service Manager Jeremy telephoned me and talks at me, when I asked my questions he spoke over me yelling I dont listen was aggressive and condescending Jeff told me to get a lawyer and contact Chrysler Dodge and
Then he told me never to contact Boulder Dodge again and never come to the Dealership and slammed the phone down.
I was never asking for money only an explanation on why certain work was done along with why in writing I was told all my brakes front and rear were metal to metal cost$1500..I had my brakes checked at another reputable place and they showed me the brakes and put in writing the state which was NOT metal to metal.
I contacted the Boulder Internet chat and provide my info and asked for the General Manager to contact me.
UPDATE August 20th.
The General Manager contacted me from Boulder Dodge and said he would speak with Service Manager Jeremy and I am not banned but to deal with another Service Manager.
The General Manager also explained that the experience Boulder Dodge Technicians have is they can tell the brake wear and whether the pads and disks need replacing without looking at them (I am amazed as everywhere else take the wheels off and look before telling the Customer they have to pay $1500).
I would think very hard and deep before having any work done at this Dealership even if they can diagnose measurements without looking.
Excellent customer service ! - Greg
Corey was the most competent, friendly customer service oriented employee I have had the pleasure of being helped with. This dealership's service center has improved dramatically since she has taken the helme ! Thanks for the experience.
not too happy.. - 12345
I wouldn't buy another vehicle from this didn't even inspect it before they sold it to me. I did some research all they did is slap a sticker on the front window and called good, I have a paper trail to prove it to. and I had to fight with them to fix a couple of thing but I had to buy all the parts and there are still parts have to buy and replace.and it a three year old vehicle...they didn't offer me any comp like oil changes stuff like ...pretty much they told to we can't do anything so yea..service ok but I wouldn't let them do anything but oil changes and that about it ....
Appalling Lack of Customer Service/Unprofessional/Deceitful - NeverAgain
My 2016 Dodge Grand Caravans transmission died in the middle of rush hour traffic on Colorado Blvd the Thursday before Easter. There was no warning, no check engine light, nothing. Thankfully, my four children were not in the vehicle with me when this happened and no one got hurt.
Because I did not purchase my vehicle new (I bought used in May 2017 from a rental car fleet) and the mileage on the vehicle was high, none of the power train warranties were extended to my vehicle. The latter was in addition to the fact that my vehicles VIN was supposedly not on the massive recall of transmissions on 2016 Dodge Grand Caravans...fascinating that my three year old vehicle had a massive transmission failure and was magically not on the recall list when I contacted Chrysler Dodge.
My vehicle was towed on Good Friday to the nearest dealership, which happened to be AutoNation Dodge on Arapahoe. Not once was I offered a loaner vehicle or rental vehicle while diagnostics was being run on my vehicle. I am a single parent of those four beautiful children and cannot go without a vehicle, as I have no immediate family in the area with whom I can bum rides or borrow a vehicle. I put myself in a rental car so I could get my kids to and from school and make my commute to work. Chrysler Dodge FCA had indicated that I would possibly be eligible for a reimbursement on the rental car up to $35/day, pending the final diagnostics/cause for failure, so I squeezed my children and I into the smallest vehicle possible to accommodate this, all the while fronting the money for the tows and the rental car.
I contacted my FCA case manager almost every day, substantiated by my cell phone bill/call logs and emails. I never received a call from AutoNation Dodges service supervisor, Britani. A week into this process, my FCA case manager, Robin, even indicated that Britani initially told her that my vehicle wasn´t even at the dealership. Every day that these stalls, delays, and communication games went on between my FCA case manager and Britani/AutoNation Dodge, was an additional day that my vehicle was not being worked on and an additional day of rental car expense. The sole source of communication to me with regards to my vehicles status (whether diagnosis and go forward repair) was through Robin, my FCA case manager, having never been contacted by Britani. When I called the service department asking to speak to Britani, I was always sent to voicemail with no call back (again, I have the AT&T cell phone bill/call logs as printed evidence to substantiate this).
These games continued for almost 7 weeks. During that time, I had to pay for a rental vehicle just to go on a planned vacation/PTO to Mount Rushmore with the kids. Ironically, of course, the repairs on the vehicle were finally finished while I was in South Dakota with my kids. During that time, I received a phone call from Britani with a voicemail that accused me -- the customer -- of blocking her phone calls. I kept the voicemail as evidence, as well.
After 6+ weeks of fronting rental car expense, and also expected to pay a $1,000 deductible for a complete new transmission on a three year old vehicle, I went to the dealership to pick up my vehicle on June 5, 2019. AutoNation Dodge had had my vehicle since Friday, April 19, 2019. I demanded to speak with Charles (Chuck) Halbwachs, my email correspondence with FCA, my cell phone bill/call logs, and saved voicemail from Britani in hand. In reviewing the repair order, my vehicle had a promise date of May 10, 2019 -- almost a full month earlier. Additionally, even though I had verified my phone number with the service department every time I called them -- even leaving my cell phone number in the unanswered voicemails -- the repair order HAD THE WRONG CONTACT NUMBER ON IT. Clearly, AutoNation Dodge was NOT waiting on me. Clearly, I was NOT stonewalling their efforts to work on the vehicle. Clearly, AutoNation Dodge on Arapahoe/Britani had not done their due diligence to make sure that they were calling the correct phone number, particularly when they supposedly could not get a hold of me.
I made all of this very clear to Chuck, who vowed that he would review my case with his area supervisor. He even made photo copies of my cell phone bill/call logs and emails, purporting that I had a very good case to receive reimbursement for the rental car expenses in excess of the promised delivery date of May 10th. I took Chucks card, and emailed him later that same day the rental car bills for the past 6+ weeks (totaling $1,600+), believing in good faith that Chuck would make this right.
I was wrong. I have followed up with Chuck politely and periodically since June 5, 2019 with no response aside from one voicemail dated Monday, June 10, 2019. I have lost my patience and can see that on top of a lack of customer service from the entire dealership, unprofessional staff (Britani), that there is an intent to deceive and no desire to make the customer whole -- even when the dealer was at fault. I ABSOLUTELY will make sure that I get the word out about Britani, Charles (Chuck) Halbwachs, and AutoNation Dodge on Arapahoe, in addition to informing potential Dodge buyers: Buyer Beware.
New Management very Impressive - Rockies Girl
I was shocked when I saw the dealership under new management. The lot is so full of great car options and the new sales team really impressed me with their professionalism. Looking forward to buying my next car there.
