They will handle your insurance issue or claims professionally. They will never give you a problem while waiting for you car repair to be finished. Unfortunately, these was my second trip to them in less than 2 years because of accident that’s why I knew them so much by now. My lease in Charlotte, NC was ending in December 2020 and I was looking for a CPO X2. I found one at a great price point with all of the amenities and low mileage that I wanted at Lakeland. I worked with Mike Henderson on the virtual purchase process. He made everything easy and was very responsive to my many questions. They addressed all of my concerns and more. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service. I received my X2 via transport delivery yesterday and it's as wonderful in person as it was online, via video walk-through and in the independent inspection report! People taking advantage of people, I had a repair covered by an extended garanty... first they put more hours than the factory requirments, second they told me my first payment on top of factory requirements was 350 dollars, then 175, they add 50 dolars on top of that and I end up Paying 228$, and Noone was able to explain why, I have the conversation, with the agent and al the numbers do not match, they just Ad labor time, so the bill can be more! It is a shame how you can tale advantage of people! NEVER COME TO THIS DEALER FOR SERVICE! They will rip you appart!

Took my 2019 BMW 5 series with 29000 miles and still under warranty in to have windshield replaced. Also have seat tearing at bolster. Service manager tells me it is not warranted and that I’m sitting in my seat the wrong way. Maybe getting in and out of my car wrong. My salesperson never demonstrated how to sit in or enter and exit the vehicle nor is it in the owners manual. The salesperson also said that it looks like faulty leather and it shouldn’t be happening. BMW wants 2000.00 for a new seat. Please be aware that if you choose to buy a BMW this may happen to you. Terrible customer service. There are other luxury cars to choose from. I also own a Mercedes Benz. It is a 2020 year model and was purchased new. I don’t get this kind of treatment at Mercedes Benz service department.

My 2006 M3 convertible's "routine" second passenger airbag recall was somehow screwed up. Now there is a ten-day wait for a part from Germany. No real explanation so far. No real apology either. They did provide a rental Rogue, which isn't quite the same driving experience. Called service manager Richard Gaffney who said he would investigate what happened and get back to me. That was four days ago. Still waiting. Stay tuned.

We bought a 2019 BMW 340i w an extended warranty service plan up to 6yrs/75 miles. It was explained "verbally" that it will include brakes and wipes change; however, then the time came, we found out that the service plan did not include what it was offered and what we signed for. About 2 weeks ago, the time for brake change came up, and the service advisor Xenia D Leon, told us that the extended service plan we pay for when the car was bought did not include the brakes and wipes. My husband and I felt like we were scammed by BMW because the person in the warranty department lied to us just to "sell". We "swallow" the deceit of BMW's service plan and move forward to agree to pay for the brake change. Xenia explained BMW had a brakes/wipes plan for about $700's that was covering brake change for 3 yrs. We accepted it, and once again...she calls to tell us the plan offered and paid for regarding the brakes was "rejected" due to the "extended services plan" that the car has. ???!!! How could it be possible that BMW rejected a coverage of a product because an expensive new car had an extended service warranty!?? Does that make any sense?? I left two voice messages to Eduardo and Marc or similar names that were supposed to be the supervisors or managers requesting a call back regarding this situation, and none of them have called me to give me an explanation. Very poor customer service. No stars would be given if asked to. After finish w this car, I would never buy anything from South Motors BMW and I would not recommend no one to either.
