Do not do business with these people. Clyde is not trustworthy. He had us drive 3 hours one way, so 6 total. We had a deal worked out and when we get there he tries to tell us that the vehicle we were trading in had an upper pan oil leak and it would be $6,000 more on the deal. the truck has never leaked oil and wasn't... then he told us the ford f350 were going to by probably has an oil leak and that's why it was being sold as is, which he never told us before that point, then he said he would be selling the truck we were trading as is because it has an oil leak(which it didn't) so there fore he was not putting the $6k into it. it was just going to be profit for him. We refused the deal and went to a local diesel shop and they inspected and said there was no oil leak present. Avoid them at all cost

Went trade in shopping he got me a good trade in value and he sold me on a Nissan Frontier. There was a paperwork discrepancy that in the end was my fault but Athens Ford and Michael did right by me in correcting it and I really appreciated that. Overall it was a really good experience and I’d definitely go back

I want to make this as concise as possible; I would not buy a car at this dealership. You will not get the best deal, and they are deceptive. While the staff try their best it is painfully obvious that Gerald Jones Ford is all about the money and the finance person, Kirt Dolittle and the sales manager Martelli that calls himself a man of GOD when you call him out on his of deceptive practices. I agreed to Co-sign for my granddaughter. Two days later I find out that I am not the Co-buyer but the primary on the loan. Why would they not be upfront about this, for one thing they did not want to lose that cut of the pie. See when a dealership gets you a loan, they make half or more percent of the total Interest Paid. If they had told me that I was going to be the primary I would have gone to my bank. I would have then got 5% loan and not a 6.5 or so loan. That is around $800.00, it does not sound like much but for a college student going to school full time and working part time it is a lot of money. If I could do it all over, I probably would have gotten the Jetta at CarMax and not these lying cheating group of people. Martelli keeps saying it is the same thing, and yes, he is right, but it is the principle of not saying it. It seems management hides things to maximize profit. Gerald Jones is not the worst dealership out there by any means but with so many options I would look elsewhere. I will contact the State Attorney General Office, and I will file deceptive practices claim. It is insane that dealerships think they can get away with this today.
