My salesman Justin was the absolute kindest person I've bought a car from he has a bright future and had a lot to do with my decision to upgrade. Brought my chevy that I bought from there into the service shop to get a simple tire alignment & to have a diagnostic review of my brakes. I was told I would have my car back that same evening since I brought it in at 1pm. The day goes by with no calls from them. Around 6:30 I called thinking it would be ready & waiting on me. I spoke to a woman at the desk stating "they closed at 5 but I can give them a message." The next morning around 9:30 I spoke to a man at the service desk (who I dropped the car off to) & he said "they can't get the tires aligned right but we will call you to say if it will be done by this evening or at a later date." That is what any basic car repair shop can do let alone a car dealership repair shop??! I called them once again at 3:45pm the lady said they are too busy to speak to me & call back in a few hours. Four comes around & I remain on hold for 7 minutes just for the man to tell me "ok it's waiting" . When I get there I have to wait in line just for him to hand me the slip & keys. I will NEVER go here to get my car fixed again, let alone buy a car. It would have been a totally different experience if they would have kept me updated, I wouldn't even had cared if they had to keep it overnight again. Communication is key. I DO NOT suggest you go here.

Went there to get a tire change that I had under the warranty that I purchase when I bought the car which covers my tires and rim on my car, paid an extra 3K for. Got there at 8:15am and left at 11:10am there were 3 people in front of me and they were in and out within a 1 hour and a half. But the service department spent 2 and a half hours trying to convince me that my warranty was not valid even though it was on the paperwork. Granted that I only had the car for last than 2 months so how would the warranty not be valid. I felt like that they were trying to get me to pay so they wouldn't have to go through the warranty company. They finally got it resolved and changed my tire, not only that they left dirty foot prints in my car when they was done. I had my K5 for a little last than 2 months love my car but there service department sucks. I have been to 2 different Kia service departments and received poor service from both. The other one on Shadeland don't never answer there phone. When my lease is up I won't be getting another Kia if they can't handle minor problems how they going to fix major ones.

I wish I had read these reviews before taking my car here. Stay far away as possible. Had to take my car here because the person who was at fault had USAA insurance and this is their preferred provider. They fixed the front of my car fine. But also somehow damaged the sides, and broke off my antenna. They tried to tell me it was like that even though looking at the photos you can see it wasn't. Now I have to take my time and go through small claims court. I will continue to warn as many people as I can to stay away from blossom on shadeland.

i took my 2002 kia sportage in because it was running funny and smelled of gas and my gas milege was suddenly terrible. they had it for a week and swore up and down there was nothing wrong with it. i convinced them to do a simple tune up. they had to order parts and the day they had the parts they called claiming all types of things were wrong and when i said no they found other parts that were broken and suddenly couldnt believe i drove it in. this was after there 80 dollar an hour diagnosis. and when i said i was takeing it somewhere else they claimed it wouldnt run under its own power. i took it somewhere good and got it fixed for 600 dollars cheaper than what they were claiming. im not even going to look at that place when i drive by anymore. terrible buisness ethics

call them on Thursday said I needed a fog light replaced; they told me to bring it in Saturday morning whenever we got there and they would take care of it I was very pleased with your service did not wait long , they explained everything to us and they asked if they could take our van for a wash I said yes so they took our van over and got it washed. Hello, all! If you're reading these reviews, I bet you're probably in the market for a new vehicle. Well, I'm not here to tell you if Gates is the place for your new purchase, but I am quite prepared to say you should never try to get a vehicle serviced at this dealership!
I came to Gate and attempted to have my low-mileage, under-warranty vehicle diagnosed for a knocking sound. After a 2.5 hour wait (was told 1 hour, and watched another customer enter, get service, a loaner, and leave before me) a serviceman approached me and outright refused to diagnose the issue, stating their refusal was due to 'snow on the ground', and that I should come back when it's nicer outside. Seriously! As soon as I left their service center and hit the road at 20mph, the knocking was CLEARLY audible! After calling the service center to set a date and time *they* find appropriate, and not being given one, I requested to speak to the floor manager. The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, but said he could not arrange a diagnostic until the following week, which I found unacceptable.
I'm sure their salesman are quite genial and the deals superb, but I would suggest staying away from their service center: they seem selective about who they want to serve and who they do not.
2017 optima heat when cold - matchstx
I have bought 2 kia's from this dealer, the first being one year old and the second one being brand new around July 2017. around January of 2018 around 25 degrees my car would not put out heat, so I stopped by the fishers location (which I've been told was owned by the same group), the temperature was very cold and my car would not heat up, I showed the service representative. when I tried to schedule the service I was told that they would not provide me with w loaner even though I just bought the car less then a year ago and the sign in the lobby said that they did and the work would be warranty work. so I had to drive the car like that for three weeks until I could get it set up to have a ride to work. they replaced my thermostat and gave me my car back. there wore not any more days cold enough till the following season. I then had a problem again, this time I took it back to the dealer I bought it from around thanksgiving 2019 and left it for a couple of weeks, they replaced the thermostat again. I asked them to keep it a couple more days and test it again when it was cold, they did and called me back to tell me they were going to do a reprogram on the computer, a couple of days later they called me and said it was done. After picking it up I did seem to work better but I lost 9 mpg, went from 41 mpg to 32 mpg hwy. When I call the dealer they told me that the optima only gets around 32 mpg even though I have been driving this car almost 2 years now and had already put 30,000 miles on it due to a lot of traveling, so basically I got called a liar.
Around January of 2020 we noticed that now around 15 degrees we did not get heat, I took it back again, they had it for a couple of days and called me and said that there was nothing wrong that it was normal for this car to do this. so I took it to a totally different dealer about an hour to an hour and a half drive and dropped it off on Friday the end of February, on Saturday I called and they had not looked at it and did not plan to until some time next week. this was my final straw, bought a brand new car and could not get it fixed, including the in November of 2019 I contacted Kia motors and heard nothing by by February, so on president's day I traded it off. I shortly after finally heard from Kia motors and started receiving calls about service, I have called, tested stop and emailed stop to get the calls to stop and they still don't stop. I would not recommend to anyone.

Bought a certified new Kia as well as the Platinum warranty. Within 1 day I already had issues. Car wasn't clean, smelled terribly once the air was being used. Tire pressure light came on within hours of leaving the lot. I've been to the service center 3 times in 8 months to have it fixed and all they do is reset it which clears the light for all of 15 miles. Was charged $70 for a cabin filter ($23.50) and to put it in. I have had the car for 7,000 miles (8 months) and I've been quotes upward of $1000 in work it needs that isn't covered by the Platinum warranty. I'll stick with buying used and from a private seller from now on. There is more honesty.
