We drove four and a half hours from a different state to buy a truck from this dealership. They made us a good deal and we decided to go with them than another deal we had going from another dealership. They got us approved with a better rate as well. This was a great deal all around....until we got there. The 2020 Chevy 2500 High Country, that we drove four and a half hours to get, was not as it was described. "Perfect" was what Jamie Harrigan, our salesperson, described the truck as being, and that was far from the truth. My husband got out of the truck and went to look at it and the whole bed was pushed into the cab. If you look at the bed liner, the floor is separated from the front and very noticeable. When we told Jamie, he acted like he had no clue. How does a vehicle go through your shop and that get missed? I guess they thought that we wouldn't notice or we would and wouldn't care. They didn't offer to do anything for us. I went in to go talk to Eric, the sales manager, and he wouldn't even come down to talk to me. This dealership is a joke! We left without a truck. Also, to add all the sales people were sitting around the front desk and not professional at all!

Had a car totaled because of hail damage and needed to find another vehicle. I have never been to Jim Clark Chevy, so I thought I would go take a look. Danny met me at the front door and helped me right away to start looking. Drove 2 vehicle and ended up taking one home for the weekend so my wife could see and drive. Went back Monday afternoon and she wanted to try a couple more out. We ended up getting the one we tried first and Danny was great through it all ! Did all of the paperwork with Jarrod and Danny got the car ready for us to take home. It was a Great car buying experience and would definitely go back again.

I was dropped off at work, which was a great service. I called to be picked up and waited 40 minutes befire calling to find out that no one was actually on the way. Then someone was sent to pick me up who had no idea where to pick me up so I waited an additional extra 30 minutes. I pick up my truck and drive off to realize my tire pressure wasn’t even checked, which is something I specifically mentioned at drop off. So I seriously wonder whether a 30 point check (or however many point check) was even performed for $100 oil change. The manager tried to make up for everything by offer ring a complimentary oil change and detail service, but I doubt I will trust this place ever again to come back.

My car is a Braun handicap accessible vehicle that I took for service at Jay Hatfield Mobility. My experience was horrible there! Had my car for 4 days, looked at it 1 day and stated “we don’t know what’s wrong with it, come get it”. Even though they did find a drain on the battery. Picked it up, brought it home and the next day battery was dead again. Syd was rude in the service dept and he was very unprofessional and absolutely no interest in fixing my issue! Since then it was towed to United Access were they are more than willing to keep
It until it’s fixed!!

Contacted this dealership for obvious reasons but mostly because I have bad credit. Ricky got in touch with me. Every time he said he was working on something for me he wouldn’t get back to me until a week or more later. I’ve worked in car sales and I know they are slammed with customers at times but not so much that they can’t get back with a customer. He finally told me out of the blue that he was working on something for me. I live an hour and a half away so I told him that I wanted to get most of the deal done before I make the drive and I want to know what vehicle he is working on. He didn’t answer my question and I haven’t heard from him at all. Stay clear of this dealership.

Bought a pretty 2013 chevy equinox with 80,000 miles on it in December 2019. By end of January engine light on, needed over 1,000 in repairs. We bought the warranty as the finance guy basically pleaded to us not to get the car without the warranty, shouldve known then. Told a "solid vehicle" paid a premium price, 15,000. Has been back to ole Willy several times for more costly repairs totalling near what we paid..today, January 13, 2020..another hit and not covered, 1800.oo bucks for a catalytic converter. Back on the 2nd repair made within months of buying, asked to speak to the manager, tried to ask for a little compromise on this vehicle..he said, and I quote, " I dont have to do anything for you." So, buyer beware. Selling off wholesale cars and urging you to buy a warranty so they can make 10,000 off ya more..stay away!!

Our vehicle was there for THREE weeks. We would call to ask about progress and several times we got an answer of 'we don't have any record of your vehicle being here.' Then we would get a call back later in the day to tell us that they were waiting on the mechanic or ordering a part. On Friday, September 29th we called to ask about the status of our vehicle. We again got the response that they had no record of our vehicle being in the shop. We were told Mike would have to call us back. We made plans to get a car dolly and tow our vehicle to another dealer because we had no confidence that our vehicle would ever be fixed. Then about 4:30 that afternoon Mike called back to tell us that our vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up. We understand that the service department was very busy but there was not an excuse for 'having no record of our vehicle'. We are looking to purchase a new vehicle and we had considered looking at Beckman Motors, but that will no longer be a consideration.

My family as purchase at least 20 vehicles since 1977 and have always gotten a fair deal or better. All of us have used Clark Chevrolet for service and repairs. Their prices are almost always lower then other dealers or repair shops and they will not do any work or sell you anything your vehicle does not need.

If you are in KC, it is worth coming out to Topeka. I also worked with a couple of the "big name" Chevy stores in the KC area and the customer service at Ed Bozarth completely blew them away. They have all of the same pricing and incentives.
