When our 2007 Toyota Prius was injured in a minor accident and "totaled" by our insurance company, we needed to find our next new car. So we traveled to every dealership to see what was new in the world of great economy and Earth-friendly cars. We test drove Chevy Volt, Honda Insight, and the 2019 Prius we purchased. Our final decision was based upon comfort, visibility, fuel economy and affordability. At first we didn't know what options we would like because those had changed so much over the past twelve years. Tony Hoffman sat down with us and asked questions, took notes, looked at numbers, and found THE CAR in less than an hour! We test drove it and he sent us home with it for a "longer test drive". The Volt is an amazing vehicle, but was $10,000 more than we could afford, and the cargo area was not as easy to access and use as the Prius. As videographers this was a drawback to loading our equipment. The Insight was a manager's special, had a comparable price, and was "loaded" with options; but had hard seats that we found uncomfortable, and a cargo area even less accommodating to us than the Volt. The Prius carried as standard equipment all of the options we liked best in our 2007 Prius, plus new safety options that our insurance company takes into account in determining our rates! We feel right at home in our new car - and have already named her "Mimzy II"

Daniel listened to our needs and matched them perfectly with a 2013 RAV4. This car exceeded our expectations because the previous owner has applied a chip protection coating to the paint, chip protection strips on the door edges and door "ding" protection strips. Later, after the test drive, we discovered the previous owner had also installed remote start!
During the test drive we were very impressed at how well the all-wheel-drive held the road. This winter has had many days of slippery roads, so we are looking forward to much safer driving in the RAV4.
My wife takes care of senior citizens in their homes, so she uses her car every day. She had been driving a 2001 Camry for many years. But it stopped working unexpectedly the previous day.
We needed to. transfer money.to our checking account. Gray was very understanding and agreed to hold our check for three days. This meant my wife was able to drive the RAV4 home less than 24 hours after her Camry had been stopped working! She was able to keep her appointment with her client the next day.
We also wanted an extended warranty. Gray told us that since the vehicle had 123,000 miles on it, it was eligible for a three year, 30,000 mile extension.
When driving the car on the freeway to her client, my wife noticed a vibration when accelerating between 30 and 40 mph. I called the service department and arranged for an appointment on Monday at 3:00 P.M.. We brought the RAV4 in at the scheduled time and the service rep took it for a test drive right away. He brought it back and told us that the torque converter needed to be replaced. Then he provided us a 2018 RAV4 as a loaner car so my wife could keep her appointments.
Wednesday the Midwest had a major snow storm that delayed the shipment of the replacement part from Chicago. But this did not affect us because we had the loaner car.
In backing into our garage for the first time, the RAV4 got a little scratch. I pointed it out and the paint tech removed it completely.
We picked up our RAV4 on Friday. I was able to chat with Ryan and learned about the torque converter and the AWD system. He has a thorough knowledge of the vehicle systems.
The vibration is completely gone and we are enjoying getting to know our new RAV4. One thing I noticed when I put it into our garage is the the RAV4 is 18" shorter than the Camry. That means we can walk around the car even when the garage door is closed.

I recently came into Burnsville Toyota to look at the new Rav4. I was matched with Bob McCoy for my salesman and let me tell you this man was one of the most disrespectful, non-helperful Employees I have ran into in my life. He constantly made rude remarks, repeatedly stared at my 14 year old daughter and even rolled his eyes when I decided to “come back another day” when your inventory has more RAV4 adventures. Long story short I went over to Honda (wonderful place happy salesman) and bought a new pilot.

Unorganized poorly managed - Tahoe buyer
I bought a vehicle through Virginia. The salesperson I dealt with was very nice, but clearly inexperienced. We were told our vehicle was ready to be picked up. When we got there my vehicle wasn’t even there. We waited hours then Once it did arrive, it was not prepared at all. Car needed a Wash, gas, didn’t have the repairs and accessories we had discussed previously. I was so frustrated I almost cancelled the sale.

Bar far, the worst experience I have ever had. We came and had to wait several minutes, because they only had 2 salespeople on the floor/lot. When we test drive the used vehicle (after they had to jump it because the battery was dead), the interior reeked and there was dried up grapes inside it! The presentation was not professional and I left furious, as they were treating me like they ready had the sale under their belt.

We brought our vehicle there for a recall repair and they gave it back to us with front end damage after only having it for a few hours. They refused to repair or accept any responsibility for it while it was in their care. Not only was the bumper scraped and cracked, but license plate was torn in half. It had obviously been in a collision with another vehicle or stationary object.
