Vehicle in shop for ~11 days, nearly $3k in repair work, ZERO communication after initial drop-off. I had to call them for status updates, and though I've repeatedly given them the correct contact info, they continue to treat the secondary contact info as the primary, to the point where I ended up getting my vehicle back the day after the work was completed as apparently they called the secondary number once, no one answered as they were not expecting the call, and then they went about their other business, I guess.

When I received a recall notice, I called Dane (my regular service advisor since going back to Smithfield). He pulled up the recall and offered a service where the tech comes right to the house instead of me making a trip to Smithfield. "Is there an extra change?" "No ma'am." He switched me over to Holly who put me on the schedule. She also got a reading for the battery and said she would have tech check that also. Today Peyton came out in the pouring down rain. There was room in the garage for him to stay dry while doing the battery change and computer update, He was excellent. I was appreciative of him explaining the battery status and he also gave me a copy of the reading. Then he did the update required for my Escape. After he finished, he answered our many questions about what all could be done by the mobile tech versus having to bring it to the dealer. We have two Ford products. Peyton was very polite and professional addressing us with ma'am and sir. FIVE STARS PLUS for this young man!! And thanks to Dane for offering this service to us and Holly for scheduling us.

I purchased a 2026 Ford Maverick to replace a car that had just been totaled. Being in a bind I found what I was looking for at Randy Marion which was several hours out of state. I had previously heard of others in Virginia that had a good experience with them. Vinnie Centro in Internet sales and I came to terms quickly and a few hours later I was with Sarah in sales closing the deal. On the way there my girlfriend's car had developed an issue that had dashboard lights flashing. Sarah Wilke got that issue resolved gratis in less than 30 minutes. John Stonetreet closed the deal in finance. There were several hiccups after sale that were more than satisfied. A good group that needs to be commended.

Absolutely frustrating service department. Dropped our Edge off over two weeks ago for transmission work. It was slipping noticeably but because it didn't show a "code" the technicians were unable to determine the problem. A week later, after a transmission service, they decided it was a bad torque converter. Said a new one would be in that Friday. A week later it arrived. They said it would be ready to pickup that evening, now Monday, two weeks after we dropped it off. Now Tuesday afternoon and they don't know when it will be ready. We have a premium extended warranty that includes a loaner or rental car. After telling us a loaner would be available in a day or two...no loaner has been provided. We fearcafter all this time, almost 12 business days, it will need a new transmission!!

I have always enjoyed working with Montgomery Motors and James. I’ve been buying my vehicles there since 1990 and from James since 2009. They always meet my expectations. I can call James and tell him exactly what I’m looking for as far as my warranties, GAP and what I want my payments to be and he finds it they do all the paperwork and I come in and sign. No hassles, no issues. They know me and what I want. Best dealership ever. I know big dealerships with multiple locations may claim to give you a better deal but I can’t see how they could do better than what I always get from Montgomery Motors and James.

They have taken care of me for years and I was in Vegas for work and they picked my old Fiesta and did thousands of dollars of work on my older car, while I was gone and parked it back at home before I got back and that was one of my vehicles!! My 20 ST always goes there for any type of work I need because Ashley will go out of her way to please the consumer!!!
