My Maverick Lariat is a great little pickup. My salesman Roderick did a good job walking us through the process. However, the sales manager was not willing to honor the corporate incentive promised to people like me who ordered a 2023 model, but the order had to be rolled over to a 2024 model vehicle. The incentive was to freeze the price at 2023 levels. Sales manager stated that there was a time limit on that incentive, which expired at the end of calendar year 2023. Even though a lot of other Ford dealers have found a way to extend that expiration to the date of actual delivery, sales manager was not willing to do that. I called Ford Marketing Customer Service; they said they can often work with the dealer to effectively extend that deadline, so I'm hoping Crossroads will take advantage of that assistance and then deliver the incentive that was promised when I rolled over my Maverick order.

Avoid this dealership until it's under new management. They failed to make a sale due to poor management. My wife, toddler, and I drove up from Fort Liberty (Bragg), NC (just over an hour) to test drive and purchase a new Ford Bronco; we even went the extra step to secure an appointment with a salesperson and a specific Bronco. The dealership knew we were intent on a purchase, however, their eagerness kept them from simple business practices, such as verifying VINs, prepping the vehicle, and ensuring it was clear for sale. We had test drove the Bronco and spent well over an hour at the dealership before they informed us that the vehicle was unavailable for purchase, as it had an open recall on the hard top. We offered to purchase the Bronco without the hardtop, but they denied that offer. I probably would've paid MSRP, as that SUV had everything I wanted, package-wise.

Appointments are pretty meaningless. They will check in your vehicle, tell you that you will get "timely updates" and then not communicate anything about your vehicle for more than 10 hours despite multiple calls asking for an update. All calls get forwarded to your 'advisor' that you can't ever get on the phone, and they refuse to let you speak to any manager. Absolutely terrible communication. Finally got an update that the truck was ready. Techs just cleared codes and everything came back after driving .2miles down the road. Stated that they cleared the codes and drove for 10 miles to ensure the problem didn't come back, but suspiciously the invoice had the exact same mileage listed for in/out. Also appear to be having trouble with their phone lines. Calls to their service department somehow get routed to a dealership in Durham, NC 20% of the time. Apparently they use a call center that sometimes just misroutes customers.

Let me tell you about the experience I had today at Quick Lane. I made an appointment last Thursday for Monday morning at 8:30 for brake work that Quick lane said I needed (at my last service) Brake pads and rotors. I dropped off my truck at 8:00, at 2:30 Don Davis called and and said they just checked the brakes and there was nothing wrong. I explained the conversation from my last service and he said okay. I went to pick up the truck at 3:15 and it was done and out the door at 3:32 pm. I guess they when ahead and changed brakes and rotors on a truck that didn't need brakes and rotors!? To the tune of $1,283.77 for a 2 hour brake job! $680.00 labor! I have a GPS tracker on my truck and know the truck DID NOT leave where I left it at 8:00 until 1:55pm, so I guess y'all charge about $400.00 per hour! I will NEVER darken your doorstep ever again and I'll be sure to tell all my friends and family about the shellacking I feel like I got! Have a nice day! Michael Shean
